Chapter 4

Sitting atop the fabled Mount Cornet, Kuro looked down with a light tinting of sorrow on his features as he noticed the redheaded girl walk down towards the village, rather than enter the cave he had left her by. It seems there is nothing more I can do for her... As he got up onto his feet, Kuro focused his aura and vanished from the world, reappearing at the entrance of the cave. As he stood up by the peak of the mountain, a dark fog began seeping out of the cavern while a very familiar presence entered the world around him. "You tried to hinder my conquest... You and I will stay to ourselves... You in the sky... I in the Dark. We will only act if the chosen ones decide what to do... And she has chosen to ignore your aid in favor of doing what she has always done..." Stepping out from the darkness within the cave, a creature of the Darkness appeared from the fog within. With a shape that might have been mistaken as that of a man, a creature from the Abyss stepped forth into the world of Light. Another one appeared by his left side, this one being the same as the first. "These two shall lead the way... They will enter the village as the Darkness falls over this world. They will feed off of the children of Light... And our struggle will restart as the world is purged..." Looking to his right and left, Kuro took in the forms of two identical creatures. With legs resembling those of goats, hooves and fur. Muscled torsos and strong arms. Long and sharp claws. Horns protruding from their foreheads. Long hair falling from their horned heads. And red gleaming eyes that shone in the dark fog that now fell down the mountainside like black water. "I want you to give her the choice." Kuro said, turning around to face the endless Darkness that resided within the cave mouth. "Since you have reawakened, I will stay in this world for now. Should the need arise, then I will resume our endless struggle." As he spoke to the endless Darkness before him, a set of four red eyes opened up from within it. As the ground around him began shaking, and the air pressed down against his body, a massive black clawed hand came forth from the massive cavern. With midnight black armor running along the arm, working as it's very skin, purple lines ran along the underside as the claws scraped against the rock, tearing out chunks of stone as each claw tore through the world. "We will see... The woman... She is far too attached to the pleasures of the flesh to resist. My minions will take those closest to her... The villagers will not escape. These two will take them out, one at a time, and spread the presence of the Abyss... Fill them with the Abyss..." As the four red eyes closed within the Darkness, the massive clawed hand was pulled back into the Darkness as the black fog surrounded the crooked paths and ridges around the mountainside. "I hope she can break the addiction. While none before her has ever done so, this one is special. Those that I have helped before all tried the same. More and more, I began losing hope. Yet... She came along. Her heart is tainted by pleasure, but the Light within her is far stronger than any kind of Abyssmal force these two-" Lifting his hands up to motion to the two dark figures beside him. "Can ever fill her with. All that remains to see, is if she can break the curse." Turning around on his heels, Kuro prepared for another burst of speed before another thought struck him. "Oh. And another thing, Styrax. I have applied that seal to her. I don't care what you do with her, but I'd rather you didn't lift it. Everyone has a need to learn some endurance, especially women." And with that said, Kuro disappeared from the top of the mountain, but not before looking down once more to see the Darkness spread through the world, along with Styrax' dark agents run down the mountain with their sight set on Bianca's receding form and the village she headed towards.
