Chapter Twelve

Review Responses:

Bookworm51485: Thank you for reviewing. I always appreciate it. The actual meeting of Shay and Randy's family isn't in this chapter, possibly the next. It WILL be interesting when they do though, I promise.
silverwind rune: Why thank you!
Chrysler: ...Yes, you're reviewing now so that does count. I'll put away my infamous whip for now. You hit the nail on the head. I was hoping that was the picture I was painting to people when I mentioned his past and how he constantly stressed "a new perfect life". Good, cause I was wondering about that.
Kyo-nezumi: Oh stop, you're making me blush. Why would I not read your story. I love it...and I'm waiting on the next chapter too.
Lina: Well hot damn! That was such a nice review. Thank you.
Inoku: Yeah, I was wondering about that too. I have been thinking about doing a flashback to when Shay had Jack. I decided that if I DO, I'll write as close to the delivery as possible, but I wont go into details about the actual delivery. More like write around it. Do you really? I have a cousin who's name is Shae too.
obeliskbeliever: This chapter is for you. ;)
madlodger: Exactly. If there is a major character that has SOME part in a story, they need a little background. Otherwise, wont no one know what they are all about except the writer and well...the character, you know. You're not telling the reader anything.
Child of the Darkened Moon: Haha, don't apologize. If I got that kind of reaction out of you, then I'm doing something right.

Thank you for your reviews. You guys are great.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL!!

Author's Note: A few topics that are progressive to the story are in this chapter, but mostly, this one is light fluffiness and major smut.

Chapter Twelve

Same Monday afternoon

“Um, my cousin, James, he’s having a little get together at his place Sunday and he wanted me to invite you.”

“Really? That would be great. Should I bring anything, you think?”

The blonde shook his head. “Na. Just yourself.”

Shay nodded his head. “I’ll be there then.” They watched as Jack got up from his spread of toys on the floor and walked to where his mother was.

“See, Mama.” He tugged on Shay’s hand.

“What, pookie?” the toddler kept pulling on his hand. “Okay. I’m comin’.” The brunette sat down on the floor next to the area the tike was playing in. Jack left him to reach for Randy.

“Daddy. See, daddy.”

Randy looked up and caught Shay glancing back with wide eyes. “I’m sorry, he must’ve meant to say Ambie.”

The honey blonde smiled. “It’s okay.” Randy sat next to Shay and they watched Jack as he showed them some squared shape thing he made from those giant multicolored blocks.

“Oh that’s pretty, pookie. What’s it supposed to be?”

“Airpane.” He said like Can't you tell? Randy hid a smile.

“Oh wow, I see it now,” Randy side glanced at Shay. Haha, what a liar. “It looks just like an airplane. Look Randy, ain’t that a nice airplane?”

Randy saw Jack’s bright eyes glance in his direction, he nodded with a smile. “It’s a very nice airplane, Jack. Can you make a car?” the boy nodded. “Go make a car and let us see it, okay?”

“Ok.” The tiny blonde walked off towards his makeshift play area and started tinkering with the blocks.

That evening

“Shay?” Randy asked as they sat together on the couch, his arm was wrapped snuggly around the younger man’s slender form, his nose buried in the mass of dark brown curls.

“Hm?”

“Could I ask you something? And if you don’t want to answer it, just tell me it’s none of my business…”

“What is it?” Shay asked softly. Jack was in his arms sleeping. His two favorite fingers slowly sliding out his mouth.

“Tell me about Jack’s father. Has Jack ever met him?”

“No. He’s never met him. And….I’d like to keep it that way.”

“What’s got you two so at odds with each other?”

“Jimmy was a fake. I didn’t find out until later that he was really married. I had met him two years ago and we would hook up at a hotel. Often. Then afterwards, he would whisper all these sweet nothin’s to me about how we’d be together forever, how much he cared for me, and how he’d do anythin’ for me. And I believed it. And it was all bullshit. I came to him one day and told him I was pregnant with his child……he didn’t believe me. He called me a whore, his little ass on the side, and basically said he didn’t want anything to do with me. I haven’t seen him since.”

Randy frowned. “What a bastard.”

“Tell me about it.”

“So that’s why no one ever sees the father around.” Randy said like a light bulb just clicked on in his head. Shay nodded. “You know word around town is that you don’t know who the real father is.”

“Yeah, I’ve heard that.”

”Do you plan on telling Jack about his father when he gets older?”

“I hadn’t planned on it.”

“Why not?”

Shay looked down at his small son as he cradled him in his arms. He ran his fingers through his baby soft blonde hair, curling a few pieces behind his ear. “Why tell him about a man who cares nothin’ about him? Let alone tell him that THAT man is his father. But, if push comes to shove, I’ll lie and tell him his father died nobly…..fightin’ in a war or something’.” Randy nodded. “Or….I could just tell him it’s you. That’s what he seems to like to call you now for some reason.” Shay smiled.

“I wouldn’t mind.” Randy reached around Shay and touched Jack’s hand. “Only a fool would not want to be his father. Especially after laying eyes on him.”

Shay chuckled. “Well then Jimmy’s a fool.” He reached for the strong face next to his and kissed his lips, then smacked his leg playfully. “I should to go.” He made a move to get up, but Randy quickly grabbed his arm to stop him.

“You’re leaving?”

“Yeah, it’s gettin’ late.”

“You don’t have to go, you know. You could stay the night here.”

“Well, yeah but…”

Think up an excuse, Randy. Tell him anything. “It’s freezing and windy outside tonight, Shay. You wouldn’t want to have Jack out in that weather.” Yeah, that’s a good excuse. Shay sighed. And Randy smiled. He knew he’d won him over.

“Okay.”

“Great.” Randy flashed this All-American smile that Shay couldn’t help but return. “You can sleep in my room.” When Randy saw a speculative look come over Shay, he added, “The both of you.”

Shay rolled his eyes. “Okay, but no funny business.”

“No funny business. Scout’s honor.”

“You know, I’d believe that a little better if you had actually been a Boy’s Scout.”

Early Tuesday morning

It was early, nearly a quarter after five when Shay grabbed his stomach. An overwhelming feeling of nausea took him over and woke him from an otherwise peaceful rest. Looking next to him, he saw Randy laying on his side, light snores coming from him and Jack lying in the middle of them. Sometime during the night, he wiggled closer to the older blonde and placed a small hand over his mouth….the hand was still there. Shay soon groaned as an unsettling churn went through his stomach. Kicking back the sheets, he got up and rushed to the bathroom. Lifting the lid to the toilet, he emptied his stomach.

Randy felt the shift in the queen size bed and cracked open an eye. With it, he watched his t-shirt and briefs clad younger lover rush out the room to the bathroom. When he heard the strong sounds of heaving, he decided to go check on him. Walking to the bathroom sporting blue boxers and bed-head hair, he lightly knocked on the door. “Shay? You alright, babe?”

“Um….yeah. Just ah, give me a minute.” Shay answered in a low, shaky voice.

“Alright. There’s towels hanging on the shelf in there and extra toothbrushes in the medicine cabinet.”

“Okay, thanks.”

“Yeah.” Randy walked away from the door. When he walked back into his room to grab a t-shirt, he saw Jack sitting up in bed, rubbing his eyes. “Goodmorning, pal. How are ya?”

*yawn*

Laughing, Randy went to the boy in the too large red t-shirt—it was the smallest shirt he had to give him—and picked him up. “Hungry?” Jack nodded, his two middle fingers plugged back in his mouth. “I’ll fix some breakfast.” Together, they went downstairs to the kitchen where the entire bottom half of the lake house smelled of Classic Roast Folgers coffee.

Shay finally came down minutes later and found them in the kitchen. Jack was sitting in a chair, perched on top of about five encyclopedias in the seat, eating scrambled eggs. He started out using a small spoon, but soon got bored with it and began to use his hands. Randy sat infront of him, sipping on his coffee.

“Hey, pookie.” Shay said as he leaned down and gave him one of those loud, sucking, kisses on his cheek. It always made Jack laugh. He looked up to see Randy looking back at him. “Goodmornin.”

“Goodmorning. How are you feeling? Any better?”

Shay sat next to his son. “Yeah. Much better. I don’t know what happened.”

“Perhaps you ought to come to the clinic and let me run a check on you. With all this cool weather we’ve been having, you might’ve caught a virus.”

The brunette brushed the idea off. “I’m sure I’m fine. It’s nothin’ serious.”

Randy looked at Shay. “You’re sure?”

Shay leaned across the table to give Randy a heartfelt kiss on the lips. “I’m sure. Now, where do you keep your coffee mugs?”

With a hug and goodbye kiss to his new lover, Randy watched Shay leave then shut the door behind him. That’s when he heard the phone ring. James, you’re right on time, aren’t you? He walked into the kitchen and grabbed the phone, sure enough it was James.

“Hey James.”

“What’s going on cuz? I figured since you never called me back last night, that things went pretty damn well, huh?” Randy could hear the humor in his cousin’s voice.

“Yes it did. But not in the way you’re thinking so get your head out the gutter.”

James laughed. “Did you ask him about Sunday?”

“Yeah. He said he would come. So be on your best behavior and lay off the drunken ‘How I Almost Became a Pro Football Player’ speech.”

“What? Why?”

“Because I’d like to spare him the torture of hearing it.”

“Oh what bullshit!”

Randy laughed. “I gotta get ready for work. I’ll talk to you later, James.”

“Later, cuz.”

As James hung up the phone, he felt comforting arms warp around his waist. “Was that Randy?” Richie asked, while kissing him on the back of his neck.

James hummed at the warm feel of his husband’s lips. “Yeah.”

“How is he? Did he and his friend make-up?”

“He said everything went well and that they were comin’ over this Sunday. I didn’t get much out of him cause he had to get ready for work.” He turned around in Richie’s arms and kissed him. “Which is what I need to do.”

Richie poked out his bottom lip in a cute yet enormously seductive pout. He ran his arms up his love’s chest to wrap them around his neck. “You cant go in a few minutes late?”

“No. My jobs not like yours, where you can go in any time you want to. I’m an important man, I need to be at work.”

“You deliver packages, James. Your job is not that important.” He kissed his neck again. “Don’t leave just yet, James, I’m horny.” He bit James’ earlobe and tugged on it gently.

“Richie….”

“Por favor, papi.” He whispered in his ear.

Have you ever seen The Addams Family? You remember how it always drove Gomez crazy when Mortia would speak French? Well, it turned James on just the same. Richie wasn’t stupid when it came to getting his way. He knew what buttons to push and how to push them. He knew it made James hard as a rock when he would gaze into his eyes and whisper—sometimes vulgar words—in Spanish to him. It never failed. Proof was in the boner the blonde was growing in his pants.

Richie popped the button to the jeans and slowly pulled the zipper down. “Whats gotten into you?”

“Not you lately. I’m passed due for some fulfillment, James. So, I made it a point that I’d send Tristan and Katie off to school on time and distract Sabi with her toys upstairs. I’m in need of sex, mi amante…” He jerked James’ pants and underwear down in one pull. “And I don’t care if it’s a quickie.” Kneeling down, Richie grabbed hold of James’ cock and immediately began to suck. James leaned back on the kitchen counter, tilted his head back, and sighed.

James had to admit, it had been a while. After Sabrina was born, their sex life went slack. There were a few plays under the sheets at night and of course flirting, but nothing could take the place of a good, hot, screw. The blonde felt his groin tremble and his knees buckle…he was getting close. And that’s when Richie pulled away. James groaned at the loss of moist heat.

Richie smiled. “Un momento, un momento.” Richie quickly peeled off his own jeans and underwear, then took a seat on one of the three leather covered stools that they had lined up along the counter. Knowing it was his time to move, James walked between his lover’s legs, lifted them high by the knees, and pressed a finger into his entrance….but then he paused.

“You’re as open as a donut hole. You sly devil. You knew we were gonna do this.”

Richie smirked. “I figured we could skip this part and go straight to the main event.” Laughing, James grabbed his prick and pressed it up against Richie’s opening…but he paused again. “Hon, this is gettin’ old quick.”

“Are you still on the pill? We’re not gettin’ any surprises nine months from now are we?”

“Hell no. Three is my limit.” Richie grabbed him by the back of his neck and brought him in for a passionate kiss. “Now focus.” James pushed himself inside and they both groaned.

“Ah fuck.” James whispered.

Richie grabbed his own erection and squeezed it with one hand and held on to James’ now pumping hips with his other. The brunette moaned at the warm friction coming from deep inside him. There was a slight initial pain rooting from going so long without sex, but once that feeling went away, Richie could’ve melted at the sensations. He didn’t know whether to talk in English or his native tongue. “Más…. Más! Ah, don’t stop!”

Hearing his husband’s emotional pleas, James followed his orders and with a firm tightened grip of the other’s legs, he moved closer to Richie’s groin and changed to short, quick, and hard fucks, which were a contrast to his previous long, less as fast strokes. James couldn’t form any words, only grunts. All parts of his brain were shutdown, except for the part that was telling him, “Keep going! It feels so good! Don’t stop moving!”

But alas, all good things must come to an end. That intense trembling sensation stirring in his groin came back again and James knew he was about to blow. Looking down at Richie’s, he knew he was feeling the same. Richie’s cum face was distinct: his eyes would close, his brows would frown close together, his face would turn a flush red, and his slightly gaping mouth would jump between frantic pants and guttural moans that sounded like they nearly came from his very soul. “¡Oh Dios!” Richie jerked himself quickly and came. James let go soon after.

The couple were a tired, panting mess when they finished. Neither of them could find the energy to move…but they did once they heard, “Mama!” being yelled by an upset two year old, Sabrina. “Mama, I wa eat!”
