Author's Note
Chapter 13 came with a lot of back story, as did chapter 16. The difference is, I truncated the backstory in this chapter, where I stretched 16 to double length. I've never been happy with that, so I'm taking it back to the original source material from my archives, and I'm re-writing "Un-Pleasant Valley". So instead of a few hours to format from 6 year old ascii text file into Word html, with a spell and grammar read as I go, this one will take a little bit until I post it. When I finish, I'll remove this note, and replace it with the re-vamped chapter. --Nightmare.
