The World Where I Belong

She was shuved into a huge room by two guards. The room was guarded by two other guards, and she didnt think she could take them on in a fist fight.
\"What the Fuck! Does the rich boy not have enough toys? I`d rather be in jail than be his fick toy, not that she would let that happen\" she thought. She looked all around the room there was no way out and no weapons, the only thing she found was a letter opener which she quickly hid in her boosom. After two hours of snooping around she was exhausted and fell asleep on the huge bed in the middle of the room.
Prince Arian was on the was to his room, when one of the elders on the counsol called on him to attend an emergency meeting. Again about the borders not being protected well enough, the need for a bigger army, and how to force the pesants to give more taxes. The Prince thought it all wrong but he seemed powerless and all his objections were overuled, the Kings health was deteriating, but Arian was never close to his father, the only thing he worried about was that after the Kings death he will have the power and his idias were not to say welcomed by the caunsol who was looking to get rich. He listened to all that was said and sighed. Nothing was going to get resolved the constant bickering and grudges, alliances, and conspiracies. After two hours of this hell, he was finally free, but his mood was ruined. He went back to his room unshielding his sword before going in, ad if he was going into a cage full of lions and not into him room.
He looked at the guards \"No matter what you hear do not come in\" he told them. He walked in fully prepered to be attacked, but he found the girl soundly sleeping. He sighed and shielded his sword, sitting down on the side of the bed. Miki opened he eyes yawning, seeing a strangeer sitting by her side sturtled her and she jumped up.
\"Relax I am not in the mood\" he said with sadness in his voice
\"What`s wrong? Fucked to many hoes before you got here?\" she said sarcasticly
He tried to smack him and she blocked it with ease. \"I am not going to be your play toy, one of un will die before I let that happen\"she stated with a determination in her eyes that scared him, \"was she going to kill him or herself\" he wondered, neither was desirable.
\"Whats wrong?\" she asked again
\"The counsol wants to raise taxes on the pesants, and increase the army\" he sighed \"Not that you understand what that means, you also are a rich Misstress\"
\"It means that more of my friends are going to starve, children will be forced to work more, and if the army increases the likeliness of war will increase and more widows will be made\" she said
He was to say at least surprised, \"Why do you think a war might start?\"
\"The conslors are into slave trade and weaponry, a war is the most profitable thing for them\"
He didn think they would go that far, but now as he thought about it again it was very likely.
\"Whats your name?\"
\"Miki\"
\"You are not from this land are you? This is the empire of light, but your hair is dark, and the way you talk its well... not common\"
\"I am not from this land but the place I am from you do not know, and whats wrong with the way I talk?\"
\"I know all the lands in this world, I am very well familular with the geography of each country\"
\"I am not from this world\" she whispered. He laughed in response.
\"Well Miki how about you help me to uncorupt this country?\"
\"What do you want me to do?\"
\"Women are known to be dumm and I want you to become my concubine and tell me what you think I should do about whats going on?\"
\"What am I going to get out of this?\"
\"You wont go to jail, and you`ll be doing good\"
\"Not good enough, I can escape and do good things at my mansion\"
\"What do you want?\"
\"For one I dont want to sleep with you, two I want you to listen to me and three I need you to pay me and sent the money to my mansion, with a letter that I will write\"
\"Tough bargain, you`ll regret the sleeping thing yourself, and how much money?\"
\"The amount your advisors get paid\"
\"Okey its a deal, but you`ll need to look like a concubine\" he went into his closet and took out a skimpy dress, it looked like it was something a gjiny wore from the Arabian Nights.
\"No!\" she said
\"This is not negotiable\"
She took it and went into the closet and changed, she hated it. She put her hair up in a pony tail, and covered the bottom of her face with the vail. She came out of the closet with her hands crossed.
*Shit* he thought *Maybe its going to be me who will regret agreeing to her not sleeping with me* she was gorgeous, totally unrecognizable from before. The baggy clothes hid he figure too well. She had a great body a little musculat but still feminen and beautiful curves.
\"I need a weapon, and how am I going to hide it in this?\"
\"Hide it like you hid the letter opener\" he said turning around.


The next day it started, she followed the prince everywhere he went, there were many objections, but he overuled them all. His lessons in militery, swordfighting, history, politics, literature. She got to learn it all. After the Swordfighting lesson they had a little brake and after the instructor left, she jumped into the ring picking up a sword.
\"Show me if you can beat someone who isnt paid to lose to you\" she said
He laughed \"You`ll get hurt\"
\"Are you afraid?\" she asked dissapointed
He unshielded his sword. She waited for him to attack, but he stood still. She faked a shot to the head instinctively went to block, she turned her blade around and with the dull edgewas about to slit his stomach, but he quickly jumped back.
\"Stop\" a voice sounded, the sword instructor who came back for his journal ran up to Miki. he grabed her by the shoulders and shaking her histericly yealled \"Where did you learn that?\"
She turned away remaining silent.
\"YOu can tell him, he is a friend, he is the Head of Guard at the Palace, one of my most trusted allies\" said the Prince
\"A man by the mane Garin has been teaching me for the last 6 months\"
\"Garin, I thought that style looked familular, the way you hold the sword and that move, I have lost against many times\" he let her go, rubbing his head \"Garin, was the greatest swordsman I have ever met, he was the Generals right hand at the age of 18, how is he?\"
\"He is fine\" she awnsered somewhat surprised that this man knew Garin
\"So was he working for your master? He swore not to teach his style to anyone, so I dont know why you know it?\"
\"He is working for me, teaching me how to fight, he lost a bet and was forced to teach me\"
\"I didnt think Garin was a man to gamble\"
\"He isnt, he was trying to kill me and we made a deal that I will get rid of all the guards for 3 nights and he would have one try per night to kill me, and if he failed he would work for me\"
\"I see he failed then, he has never failed to kill someone before\"
\"I dont think he failed, the last night he knoked me out but didnt kill me, so it was pity, his skills are superb\"
\"Well any friend of Garins is a friend of mine, so if you need anything let me know\" and with that he left
\"You know I heard of this Garin people fear him, i would like to meet him one day\"
\"If I dont come back in a few month, you might meet him under very undesirable curcumstances\" she said smilling
\"Are you two lovers?\"he tried to casually ask, but it sounded aqward
\"Nope\" she said without thinking about it twice.
Arin didn`t know why but he felt relived, and they went on to their next lesson. At the judge hearings she would whisper to Arian what she thought, and Arin listened interupting into the trials and asking quistions that sometimes didnt lead anywhere, but sometimes lead to finding the person inocent and another lord guilty for framing someone, or just someone being mistaken for someone else. It took Miki sometime to understand the perseatings and when she did it was much easier for her to see what was going on. As Weeks passed by she oftened sneaked away from Princes side after the trials and gave some money to the people who were wrongly accused, and whose families were most likely starving. It was all small fish though, but it did seem to shufle some feathers of the conslors when once in a while a lower lord was accused of bribary during the trial. More and more people came out with the truth and in the trial told the real story, hoping the prince would interfier, the more this happened the more lower lords were found guilty for bribary, slave abuse and even murder. Corupted polititions got a huge chunk of money from the lower lords. After one of the hearings one of the 12 conslors came up to the prince.
\"Your majesty why dont you leave these traifle matters to us and look into more important goverment matters\" he said this staring at Mikis legs. She wraped her arm around Arian whinningly sayin \"I am borred can we go now? At the trial you promised if I behave I`ll get a treat\" she smiled suddustively at him. He was shocked, his heart was beating incredibly fast.
\"I`ll leave you now, ut do think about what I said\" the counslor said taking his leave. As soon as he was out of sight Miki let go of the Prince and starting to walking as if nothing happen.
\"What was that?\" he asked walking besides her
\"He is the guy who is getting bribes from the lord you put in jail today\"
\"Yea thats obvious, I ment the act\"
\"You wanted me to be your bimbo in front of everyone and I am\"
\"Well I have to give you credit you can act\" he said smiling to himself
\"I think maybe the Captain of guard should go and make a deal with that lower lord, so he would testify about that counslor\"
\"He might be disposed of soon though\"
\"Please leave it up to me, I can guard him till the next trials tomorow\"
\"You dont think it will be conspicious for a concubine of mine to be guarding a criminal\"
\"I`ll ask the Captain of Guard to lend me a guards uniform and a sword, I can discuise myselff as a male\" she said proudly
\"I dont think thats something to be proud of, a girl being able to be mistaken for a man\"
\"Let me do this, I forgot to mention but I will not stay here more than another month\"
\"We have a deal\"
\"Its been a month, you have a kingdom and I have a mansion to run\"
\"Nothing has been resolved\"
\"Thats the thing, its your fault nothing has been resolved, you know you can change all this only if you stoped douting yourself, and stop going along with everything they say. A good King will not let himself be manupilated, even if it takes a drastic measure and arresting all the consol members and replacing them. I dont know how you are going to rule a country if you cant even get things done in your own home.\" she said this and with this she walked to the Watch Tower.
Noone has ever said anything like this to the prince before, he was overwhealmed with emotion, what the fuck does she know? who is she to tell me what I can and cant do? but when it all came down to it she was right he was afraid to make enemies, and it was true, there were things that only he could do.
Miki changed into a guards uniform and went to the dungen to keep guard on the criminal. Captain of Guard did as he was asked and it turned out that Lord Crankis was indeed taking bribes for diffrent favors, there were documents for prove, such as chuncks of the lower lords lands being signed of to the conslor and other contracts. Captain decied it would help during the trial to have those document and went to the lower lords house to get them, leaving Miki and two of his own guards guard the prisoner too.
Miki didnt fall asleep, but the two other guards were soundly sleeping they were not une to all night patrold, and it was past 2 when she felt something was wrong. She jumped on her feet and unshilded her sword. She woke up the guards and told her to let her into the prisoners cell, they reluctantly did as she asked loking the door behind her, as someone opened jumped out of the corner with a bow and arrow shooting at the prisoner, Miki jumped in the way and was shot in the shoulder with the arrow, but due to the metal net it wasnt as bad as it could of been she was hevily bleeding. The two guards split up one chasing the assasin and the other ran up to Miki taking of her helment he was shocked it was a girl. The lower lord ghasped, \"its, its the prince`s concubine\" he ghasped. The guard picked her up, she woke up as she was being coried out of the cell. \"Stop\" she yealled \"What do you think you are doing?\"
\"I am getting you to a doctor\" he sadi
\"Put me down\" she yealled pushing him away he complied she berly stud wabling holding her bleeding shoulder.
\"Your job is to guard the prisonor not to take care of me!\" and with that she went wabling out of the dungeon. She got out of the palace through one of the emergensy exits that only the royal family was suppose to know about. She learned about it at one of the Princes lessons. Her bleeding wasnt stopping it was late at night when she collapsed on the road.
