Chap. 11
A few hours after Brian was laid down was in his bed he was still sleeping. And with Alyssa’s news of their lord’s marriage the rumors really started.
“It was blackmail.”
“Tyreal was displeased with Brian.”
“He’s never gonna wake up.”
“The Weres are winning.”
“Brian was found cheating.”
The gossip and rumors had somehow gotten so radical by the end (1) of the day that Alyssa was forced to call the whole castle together to clear everything out. The meeting in total had taken a good two hours, with all the questions and explaining, but it left the witch feeling good that no one was saying bad things about Brian and Tyreal behind there backs.
Tyreal… Well he looked himself in his room, not talking to anyone or taking anything. He had told Alyssa that the Frenzy Wine may still have an effect over his actions, but that was a lie. Alyssa knew about any and all potions that had ANY part with witches and seeing Frenzy Wine held witches’ blood in it she was an expert. So telling her it may have still have an effect on him was like telling a cook tomatoes were blue (2), she KNEW it still had a hold on him.
^_^ ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ (The Gay Breaker Dudes Seeing the Lesbians off, going back to Chicago, they’re in New York)
Brian opened his eyes, finding himself inside his own bed, a bed that he hadn’t slept in since he went into Tyreal’s…
‘Has it only been a few months? Its felt like linger.’ He pushed himself up to look around the room, no one. ‘How’d I get here?’ tentatively he reached up to his neck, giving out a sigh of relief when he felt no scare. “Maybe it was just a dream…” But even as he spoke those words to no one he knew it was a helpless fantasy.
Slowly the teen pulled himself out of the bed and went to search for clothes. He finally grabbed some loose pants with a sleeveless shirt. He wasn’t really in the mode for anything that showed his form, but the problem was that is what Tyreal had wanted so none of his shirts were truly his size or any size above it.
Brian left the room not knowing the time nor caring. Looking to his left he stared at the vampire’s door for a second. ‘Is he still in there?’ He wondered. But he came to the conclusion of leaving him alone. Turning to his right he started down the hall until he came to the third door on his left. Near silently he opened the door and slipped inside.
The library was not something to be truly impressed by, at first glance. It was really only four times the size of his own room, and only a story high. But the things that where impressive of this certain library was its secrets. Not in the books (though there WERE secrets inside the books and plenty of them), but it was the library itself. You needed to walk to the farthest corner of the room (which was to the right) and past the last of the shelves you would find a large wooden box. Near the bottom of this peculiar box there was a metal handle, once you pulled it up part of the side and top would lift up leading to a stairwell. Once down there you would find yourself in a room about twice the size of Brian’s with even more books. But if you walked strait through that room you’d find a loose rock. When you pulled that it would lead to another passage that would lead strait through the side of the castle. Once you got to the end of this passage you were to open a wooden door which turned out to be the Northeast tower, filled with books.
But Brian wasn’t heading there now he was just going to sit at one of the tables where he left his book the night before. (1)
Before Tyreal had interrupted him Brian had continued his search for an example of when a human had fallen in love with a vampire. He’d been through his etiquette and history books; in fact this one came from the tower.
He had been in the middle of it, of course on the brink something. Carefully he read the lines, taking in words as if air. The book had been so close in showing the information he needed, but he didn’t dare skip anything in case of missing that thing.
Finally.
“1397 England; the first incident of a human openly loving there vampiric master ever recorded. Edward No-Last-Name told his master of his love, conflicts, and the boy was beheaded. Great…” Brian continued his search. “1503 Spanish Colonies; beheaded, 1594 France; hanged, 1634 English Colonies; beheaded, 1682 Germany; Given to Werewolves as a sacrifice to there God, 1700 New Orleans; Hey this one lived… sold into a prostitution ring. Dammit!” He threw the book across the room. “I give up! I’m going to be killed by him and it’s only a matter of time!” He sat down onto the floor, crying.

(1) Okey I did that whole stealth description for my own pleasure. It really has nothing to do with the story, but it was fun to write.
