.Annie CXXIV: One Sentence
Annie CXXIV: One Sentence
The idea is to tell a whole story in just one sentence. They are true stories about yourself or something you've experienced.

----------
Now, a more fictional version, based on the characters in Annie.
- Pet: Um...um...um... Come back to me.
- Denise: She knew he’d treat her well after she saw how he treated her sylph.
- Annie: It was always Ray and me, even when it was Ray and someone else.
- Annie: He thought I was domesticated when I started to follow his orders, I thought he was mature when he started asking instead.
- Denise: It struck her that the cool thing about love was that it didn’t diminish a bit when the package was small.
- Buttercup: We were married for two years, and we've been together for thirty more, not counting his funeral.
- Annie: Two people hugging should not look like an H or an A, but a capital I.
- Pet: Ooooh. Um. Hugging is not a spectator sport, so get over here, you.
- Denise: Everything we do is motivated by self interest, except sometimes we have a rather generous image of ‘self.’
- Buttercup: I wasn’t captured by my owners as much as I suffered an unanticipated adoption into my new family.
- Mia: I’ve learned that which does not destroy us won’t destroy a friendship, either, if we don’t want it to.
- Annie: I used to blame all my problems on Ray, which is silly, because he couldn’t possibly be personally responsible for...um, wait, I had one thing...
- Annie: Someone asked me why I always insult Ray and I explained that I’d hate to be on my deathbed with regrets for lost opportunities.
- Denise: Her husband’s hand was the best sanctuary, combining safety, security ,heat, intimacy, knowing where he was and knowing he knew exactly where she was.
- Buttercup: Oooh, yeah, that’s the title of my autobiography: Happiness is a warm grip!
- Pet: If I was a type of food, as a metaphor for my life, I’d be a cake, a chocolate one with thick chocolate icing that covers the outside and everyone judges me by the icing, but if I were a cake I’d probably eat myself and people would be sad that I was gone but it would be their fault for just leaving a sweet little cake like me out where I could reach it because that’s just asking for trouble.
- Denise: She knew women ruled the world the day she got a porn ad that wouldn’t close, because only women would anticipate someone trying to shut such a window.
