Less long chapter now, and I hope I can portray fighting and action scene much real... somehow I lack the ability to describe something.
Hehehe I really do mean things to Scarlet, don't you think? Since I like him, I torture him more mwahahahaha *maniac laughing* XD
Well, I said about Opal does a 'thing to another child' like Scarlet had mentioned; it means about the sexual harassment and rape. Opal, like I've said, is a bisex and he doesn't picky about ages. Next story I will write about 'that another child' Scarlet mentioned before, the raping victim of Opal huhuhu *meanie*

Chapter Twelve
When they finally arrived on the spot, ten minutes earlier before the appointment time, they were welcomed with silence around and within the casino.
Arthur had contacted his HQ about Callahan and asked them to send reinforcement team. Scarlet commented in disagreement that additional reinforcement just increasing the number of casualties. The captain gravely complied with his request for placing just few skillful men to be in charge.
He also told Frank and Emily about their son which they appreciated with happy crying and grateful scream. He promised them that he would get Jamie back, safe and sound.
Casino ‘Midnight Dew’ stood on the center of Marble City. How Callahan built it on the spot was a public secret; he bought the city library, or much truly, he bribed the city land officers to give the city library to him; rudely moved it to much smaller building and demolished the old one; and made his casino.
Its building was so luxurious and screaming RICHNESS all over it; it even successfully made the city hall building to shame in comparison. The parking lot was wide and seemed well secured; colorful neon billboards surrounding the area glimmering, enlightening the dark, gloomy night. There were many cars parked outside the building; yet it seemed that their owners were just disappeared or something, indicated by the deafening silence lingering the environment.
Scarlet sniffed and frowned when he tried to analyze the odd silence. He growled in anger realizing the source of the silence, and bared his fangs and claws, making the entire group jumped in alert.
“What’s wrong, Scarlet?” Arthur asked tightly. He had his gun in his hands and prepared himself to get ambush inside the building.
“They are all dead.” He replied plainly.
“Who?”
“The casino’s guests.”
Arthur cussed out loud. They were too late, not late in time, but late in chance to save the guests. He regretted that he actually didn’t think about other possible casualties.
Suddenly Scarlet jolted in surprise. He hissed, “Not all. There are some survivors left.”
Arthur’s heart swelled with hope. “Can you locate their position?”
“Not yet…” he trailed off while concentrating to sense the heartbeats of aforementioned survivors. Arthur and the team waited impatiently for his answer. “…Second floor. Their heart beats are weak. They’re hurt. We have to hurry.”
Arthur instantly agreed. He gestured his team to break inside and save the survivors. The team began to move inside the building. They were acting more cautious and alerted since this one doomed incident was done by a single dangerous and insane Symbion vampire.
The atmosphere within the casino was heavy and filled with smell of blood, and moreover another repulsive smell they barely recognized. Scarlet knew it was the smell of scrapped, rotten guts.
And what they had found from the guests, or exactly the remnants of guests, were far from just horrible. It was one hell bloody massacre. Blood were everywhere, on the gambling tables, on the slot machines, on the wall, on the floor… heads, guts, other parts of torn limbs were found along their way to the second floor. Not few men vomited after seeing those gory, hellish scenes.
Scarlet scanned the vicinity further for precautionary. Strange though, he couldn’t sense Opal and Jamie; he began to worry. Kayura in his left hand and Navalm in other, he readied himself for any attack when he stepped to the second floor alongside the ambush team.
Suddenly he felt that familiar cold shiver running down his spine again. It was a signal, alarming signal for danger nearby. He sensed Opal’s aura instantly and screamed to warn the front line cops.
“WATCH OUT!!”
But it was too late. The front liners which were consisted of two armed men and one woman had been impaled by Opal’s yari, Ariadne. Arthur quickly commanded the rest of the team to retreat, before they met the same fate. Scarlet charged forward, already baring his fangs and claws; cocked his Kayura and directed his shoot towards Opal who stood under the shadow of a big slot machine.
Chuckling, the silver vampire easily dodged the round and glided to the side to ‘catch’ more victims. Arthur swiftly shot his own mags to him, accompanied by his team which released their own rounds. Scarlet narrowed his eyes to get a glimpse of his enemy behind the curtain of smoke formed from their raging shoots, and gasped loudly when he recognized his position.
“FALL BACK!” he shouted warily and launched himself to the side where he sensed Opal. The group spontaneously stopped their shoots and turned their eyes to him. Scarlet rudely shoved still-sheathed Navalm in front of several cops, right away dodging Opal’s assault of psychokinetic waves using his fire wall; Opal had sent back the bullets to them; and pushed them back with his long nagamaki.
“Fall back!”
Right after he said that, Scarlet felt Ariadne wheezing beside his left cheek. Instinctively, he dodged her by his left arm. Ariadne slightly sliced his wrist, not quite deep but still the blood spurted out the wound. The crimson haired vampire groaned in pain and unintentionally dropped Kayura to the ground. The yari had flown back to her owner’s hands and Opal smirked evilly while regaining his previous spot under the shadow.
Clutching his bloodied wrist tightly and taking back his Kayura from the floor, Scarlet glared angrily to the other vampire. The rest of the team also glared to him, directing their guns towards the silver vampire.
“Useless effort by shooting me. I’m invincible with my psychokinetic power.”
“Where’s Jamie?!” Scarlet barked.
Opal smiled devilishly. “Where do you think he is now?”
“WHERE IS HE?!”
“Dangling on the roof.”
“YOU BASTARD!!” Scarlet yelled while releasing his fire balls towards the older vampire.
Raising his right hand, Opal easily stopped the balls mid air and with a flick from his fingers; he molded them onto one large fire ball and sent it back to Scarlet. The crimson haired vampire had anticipated the movement and he shot another fire ball to counterattack the assault. Opal raised his brows while chuckling in awe.
“Nice move.”
“The next one will surely burn you alive, Opal.”
“Oh please…” he mockingly laughed. “Try me, novice. You’re futile against me, you know that?”
“It’s not your right to judge it like that, by the way.”
“True. But our gap of power is too far to be reached in one shot.”
“Who knows?”
Scarlet unsheathed Navalm and created rings of fire around his blade. He swung her forward and waves of flames were suddenly formed, horizontally moved in flash straight towards Opal. The silver vampire smirked and jumped upward to dodge the waves. But his smirk instantly disappeared when the waves abruptly changed their movement and formed new pattern of crisscrossed rings surrounding Opal, successfully trapping him in a cage-like fire web.
“How about that, bastard?! It’s Navalm’s fire web. I doubt you can escape it without getting burnt so bad.”
“…Heh.” Opal now held Ariadne in both hands and waved her vertically, trying to slice the web from inside. But his effort was futile. Once the web was sliced, it formed again onto new web. Opal realized if he wasn’t getting serious, he would be absolutely doomed.
He smiled annoyingly and gripped Ariadne with both hands and began to chant his releasing spell. Scarlet recognized the sudden change of aura lingering him and quickly motioned the fire web to tie itself around Opal before he finished his spell. But it was too late.
Ariadne broke through the web with her glorious form raging, shrieking wildly while Opal was kept protected on her chest. She glared to the terrifying group and shrieked again while releasing psychokinetic wave attack towards them.
Scarlet hardly dodged the attack with his fire wall and he stumbled backward. He tightened his grip on Navalm and chanted, “~O Glorious Nine Tailed Fire Fox, which reign beyond the Flaming Gate of Hell… awake and howl, Navalm!~”
Navalm’s nagamaki form burst out in fiery red flame and dissipated into the air, but right on the spot, the nine tailed fire fox stood on her four, baring her fangs and claws, her tails wagging dangerously and releasing fire everywhere, scorching everything. She howled in long, terrifyingly sound, warning her enemy of her presence.
Arthur and the group gawked at the glorious form of both blade spirits. Arthur had seen Navalm’s real form once, but he had to admit it didn’t make him less surprised to see her again in all her glory. He also admitted that Ariadne was terrifyingly beautiful and even though she was less fiery than Navalm, which naturally glowing within her flames since fire was her element; she was one hell of glorious and most sparkling beast he had ever seen. Well, Shion was another thing.
Navalm glared at her foe; the hippogriff let out a teasingly chuckle seeing her for second time. The fire fox growled in disapproval and whining keenly to threaten Ariadne.
“~Whining like filthy dogs, are you, Navalm?~”
“~You surely don’t know when the right time to shut up your clamp, Ariadne.~”
Ariadne shrieked in high pitch voice, almost deafening the other occupants of the hall, although the two vampires seemed uninfluenced. Navalm countered her shriek with her own howl and readied to dash towards the hippogriff when she felt his lord’s palm nudged her left leg gently. She looked down to her young lord and softly asked, “~What’s the matter, Milord?~”
“~Don’t get rushed, Navalm. Calm yourself.~”
Navalm nodded silently and looked up to Ariadne, glaring all the way. The hippogriff let out a laughter in a fit of growls and mockingly teased, “~Afraid, are you, bitch?~”
Navalm kept silent. Scarlet looked up and smiled apologetically to his servant and mumbled in common language, “I’m sorry for letting you swallowing all of her babbling, Navalm.”
Navalm’s laughter sounded like soft rumbles. “No need to, Milord. Our priority is little lord, isn’t it?”
“Uh huh. Locate him.”
“As you wish, Milord.”
Navalm sniffed the air and jolted upward when she recognized something. She quickly spat out a fire ball to the roof and successfully demolished it in one big explosive, leaving a big hole. Night sky could be seen clearly from the hole, and also the sight of a figure tied in rope dangling limply on one of billboard towers. Scarlet wide eyed the sight and growled in anger when he recognized the figure as Jamie.
“Jamie—! How dare you?!!” he spontaneously flamed a whip from his hands and lashed it towards Opal. Ariadne quickly shielded her lord from the fire lashes with her own body, barely dodging it with her psychic attack. She whined in pain when the whip lashing her right leg and Opal groaned when he felt his right arm burnt.
“~Ariadne! Get control of your psychic attack! Don’t fool around!~”
She whined again, this time apologetically, and launched several psychic waves to Scarlet, Navalm, and the group. Scarlet gestured Navalm to protect the humans while he dodged the attack himself. Navalm complied and flew in front of Arthur and the others; shielding them from the psychic waves which she dodged with a sheer of flame barrier. She poked Arthur’ shoulder gently with one of her tails and winked.
“Nice to meet you again, Lord Arthur.”
Arthur smiled widely to the fire fox and replied, “That is ought to be my line, Navalm. And I thought I’ve told you, don’t call me lord.”
Navalm chuckled. “That is a must, Milord, since we as the blade spirits are the servants of our lords and their friends.”
Arthur was humphed grumpily. “I’ve heard that. You’ve said same things back then.”
Navalm growled in laughter, but her laughter quickly faded when she faced a familiar psychic wave attack launched by Ariadne. That was the same attack which trapped and bound her and her consciousness. She immediately twisted the wave with her spiral flame formed from her tails and bent the attack until the wave crashed the wall. Navalm watched Ariadne’s shocked eyes with triumph.
“~Do you think the same attack will work at me twice?~” she asked mockingly.
Ariadne grunted in anger seeing her attack went futile and decided to charge forward so she could claw at Navalm directly. The fire fox inwardly smirked; she had waited this moment, moment when that bitch hippogriff lost her patience…
Ariadne flew, dashed towards Navalm with full speed. She spread her wings widely and shrieked while lifted her front legs up high, claws bare and ready to attack. She pawed Navalm’s head, or at least tried to, but her attack had been nullified by her opponent using four of her tails. The tails created bright red flame and while they lashed themselves to Ariadne’s paw, counterattacking her, the flame burst out in explosives and sending sparks everywhere save the group’ spot. The flame explosives hit Ariadne on several places, not fatally, but quite painful. She growled both in anger and pain; in the same time, Opal groaned when he suddenly felt burning stings on several spots of his body.
{~Ariadne! Careful!~}
{~My humbly apologize, Milord…~}
Scarlet saw an opening when Opal was distracted by his own pain and his servant’s. He stealthily glided to his left and swiftly landed a fire strike right on his ribs. Opal screamed in pain and was flown backward, crashed to the ground. He groaned loudly and winced in pain; his left side had been burnt and now injured, spurting blood with much amount to almost completely soak his shirt. He coughed blood and noticed that Ariadne also howled in pain and stumbled to the ground; Navalm’s claws held her limb still on the ground while in the same time, dug themselves on the neck area. Opal gritted his teeth when stinging pain hit him on the neck sharply.
“Now…” Scarlet panted slightly. Using fire always made him exhausted. He had his limit, so he had to finish it quickly. “Who’s the upper hand now, Opal? I see you hardly dodged my blows, less say counterattacked them.”
Opal forced a chuckle. “…I compliment you for your development. But if you thought that those weak blows could bring me down, you’re in big mistake, young man…”
Scarlet snorted. “You even barely stand on your own feet! Still you manage to babble about your strength—”
Opal laughed and suddenly let out whistling sound in keen voice. Ariadne reacted with the voice and using her remained strength, she struggled against Navalm’s holding. The fire fox didn’t want to submit; she tightened her grips and dug her claws deeper on the hippogriff’s neck. Ariadne shrieked in agony and, while Opal also wincing, feeling the same pain, he stayed still and kept whistling.
Ariadne’s body began to glow in bright silvery gleam, slightly distracted Navalm which closed her eyes to avoid the light. The flash moment wasn’t gone in waste for Ariadne; she quickly freed herself from the tight grips, successfully made Navalm startled and unintentionally let her go; she herself swayed backward clumsily. She swung her wide wings with swift and hard movement and the blow hit Navalm right on the head. She howled and was struck down, hard, to the ground. She crashed her spot painfully and Scarlet fell down on his knees, groaning loudly while clutching his head on both hands; the pain was much agonizing. He mentally spoke to Navalm, asking whether she was all right or not. She replied with a weak whine.
“Fuck!” Scarlet cussed while his hands holding his head tightly. His head was throbbing painfully; also he was worried for Navalm. He glanced up to see Opal hardly stood and …Ariadne was in his hands, on her yari form.
Why he deformed her?! Scarlet pondered. He suddenly felt he already knew the answer.
While on their weapon form, blade spirits were acting like normal weapons, mostly. They didn’t share feeling and mind with their lords, except for minor calling. As long as they stayed on their weapon form, they couldn’t share the same pain, same wound, same injury…
He’s trying to reduce his injuries and avoiding getting more wounds, Scarlet inwardly grinned. Opal was indirectly admitting his loss on their battle. Glad to know that, but this is far from finish, he thought grimly.
“Why did you call her back? You want to admit you’ve lost from me?” Scarlet insulted hoarsely. Shit, his head was still hurt like hell. He began to get unfocused and his mind got buzzed.
Opal silently stared at the younger vampire. He had put his smiley attitude and his evil chuckles aside; his eyes were gleaming coldly and deadly serious now. His lips pursed tightly forming a thin line; he wasn’t smiling or scowling; he was just simply, coldly staring. Scarlet and the others stared back at him, and suddenly shuddered out of fear. Scarlet inwardly cringed looked at the silver vampire’s cold and brisk expression.
“~Very good, kid…~” Even his voice turned into icy cold and deeper than his previous one. “~I will get serious and kill you now. I have lost my temper moment ago.~”
“~So you were just playing then? Hard to believe though; it looked like you had difficult time to get on par with me.~”
Opal went silent, un-influenced with his insults. He tilted his head slightly and threw his sight to the body still dangling limply, tied on the ropes up the billboard tower. Scarlet froze; his blood rushed rapidly through his veins when he felt that tightening feeling again down on his gut. He was terrified and he worried badly about Jamie’ safety.
“~DON’T—!!~” Scarlet snapped angrily and mentally commanded Navalm to save Jamie. He by the way would try to distract Opal. The fire fox inwardly complied and struggled to stand up and move.
Scarlet formed a huge fire ball and while leaping towards Jamie’s position, he launched it to Opal who still stood rigidly on his spot. Scarlet didn’t wait to see whether his assault hit him or not and kept rushing to Jamie. That proved his next fall…
Opal eluded the fire ball and with light speed he reappeared beside Scarlet who still leaping. The crimson haired vampire shocked seeing his sudden faster movement and instinctively glided away from him. But before that happened, Opal had ruthlessly stabbed him right through his right lung. Scarlet screamed in agony and he felt the yari thrusting through his body until its blade emerged from his back. He was literally impaled by Opal and his Navalm.
He fell, crashed onto the casino roof, pushed by Opal forcefully. The impact made his hurt multiplied ten thousand times more; he screamed again and he felt his body went numb. Blood was spurting hot; blood was pooling around his fallen body when the silver vampire violently yanked his yari away, splattering blood on his way, and Scarlet tasted desperate and death coming towards his person…
Not far away, Navalm let out one long agonizing howl before she fell and lost consciousness; turning back to her nagamaki form. She jabbed on the roof right beside her dying lord, stood erect but miserably silent in her loss…

I'm so sorry for my lack in grammars and choices of words as I write this story down. Next chapter will be the last, or that's what I think so... maybe I will write two or three others chapters before I settle this story down, ending it, and begin to write another fics. I do want to try writing crossover fics but I still don't know what story I want to crossover with. I really like to read fanfics of YugiOh and Beyblade, there are many interesting story with various themes listed down, I prefer het story though, despite I don't refuse to read yaoi ones. I like to read kazeninoru's and sangha's writings, they're really good with building their story.
