Claudius - the Black Death

Alias: Father, Black Death, First
Description: 22 years old; 6ft; 155lbs; lean swimmers build. Piercing icy blue eyes, jet black hair that falls midway down the back. Always impeccably dressed as if he has just stepped out of the pages of GQ. His “look” is more classic than trendy. Favors black, charcoal and deep wines as color of choice. Fills out a pair of leather pants like nobodies business.
Lovers: Married to Katrina Du Bussey (deceased); Hades and Sex
Lovers endearments: Sasha, Kitten
Hobbies: The Piano and Sex, or vice a versa
Relationship to the Blood Emperor.
Father to Marcus/Armor who found and birthed the Imperial Brothers.

History
Born in 1485 in a small Russian village to the local Tavern whore, Alexander was raised in an atmosphere of scorn and oppression. This emotional and at times physical abuse turned him from a regular little boy to a ‘bezerker’ – someone out of touch with his emotions. He grew up big and tall and used his disdain for the community to turn into a thug. At 22 he was spiraling to destruction, caught up in a circle of wine, women and crime that had started off as minor petty things and escalated to murder.
In 1507 a mysterious lovely lady arrives and stays a night at the Tavern. When her carriage leaves the next day, Alexander is with her. The village is happy to see him go. Katrina Du Bussey has been sent out by Lord Emperor Sigmund/Liam to start to gather up all the “Blue Bloods” The Blues, unlike the Reds, who can multiple just through bites, have to be born. They are natural vampires. Somewhere down the line, Alexander’s mother met a Blue and was left with a baby boy who was a blue gene carrier. Only two true Blues can create Blue Vampire babies. This meant that the Blue Houses, were declining and losing their hold on the governing of the Vampire Nation. New blood needed to be added to the gene pool, which was why Katrina was out and about. However, Katrina threw a wrench into Sigmund/Liam’s plan by keeping the newly made vampire fledgling for herself.
Katrina changed Alexander’s name to Claudius. In the hundred years of marriage, she transformed him from a petty country thug into a gentleman of society. Since he was a blue carrier, and not a true Blue blood, his Vampiric Flame was of the highest degree of red – Deep Crimson. (In theory, only blue carriers would be of the deep Crimson category. They can’t flame Blue.) During that time, Claudius learned the harpsichord and found music to be a way to reach out to others emotionally. Also, as a Du Bussey, he was able to petition admittance into the House of Assassins. Killing was still a very fine talent with the newly made vampire and he begins to work his way up the hierarchy.
In 1607 everything went to hell in a hand basket. The Vampire nation divided into two factions and war broke out. The Blues were defeated. Katrina fell. She had not allowed her husband to take sides in the conflict as he was still young and coming into his vampiric gifts and wouldn’t have survived. As a member of the House of Assassins, Claudius was offered protection as the victorious Reds basically performed an ethnic cleansing riding the Nation of the Blues forever.
As Katrina was a high member of the House of Du Bussey, at her death all titles and responsibilities went to Claudius. A 100 year old fledging became second in line to inherit the title of Head of the Household. Basically, Claudius returned to his libertine ways – wine women and killing, spending his time working up the rankings of the House of Assassins until he reaches number 5 and decides to settle there. At this time, he has caught the attention of the little blond Head of the House – Hades.
In 1747 he meets Marcus for the first time as a seven year old sex toy also known as the third son.. Maybe it was his own horrible childhood he had that eventually motivated him but he rescued Marcus from his abusive father and raised him as a human child. He had no intention of turning the broken little boy but by the time Marcus was 26, he had asked to join the ranks of the Vampire. Claudius officially got a son in 1763. Since his household grew, he needed more money to provide and he challenged his way up the ladder of Assassins until he got to First. Within a few years, he ended up unwillingly in Hades bed (1776) and he remained there until kicked to the curb in 1985.
P.S. Claudia was born 1878.

K asked a question, or made an observation that "Sasha is a shortened form of the name Aleksandr and,,I still can’t really imagine him calling his beloved Sasha or Sashenka(endearment form"
When Sex asked his lover what his human name was, Claudius said Sasha Kornasnov. He never offered Alexander due mainly to the fact that even after hundreds of years have gone by, he is still deeply scarred by the fact that he was illegitimate in an area that was almost fanatically religious. He has admitted that he was a monster with little purpose other than fornicating or drinking back in his human days. He stole, killed and basically took what he wanted and no one was able to stand up to him to stop him. He is ashamed of what he once was even though it is 400 years in the past.
His peasant roots still show through in his pack rat tendencies. “I was dirt poor, I coveted everything. Now I can get anything I covet.” Claudius, while being ultra cool, is still carrying a lot of crippling baggage. He would rather have the name Sasha pass through his lover’s lips than Alexander.
And why does Sex want to use his human name? Pure jealousy. Katrina renamed him Claudius when she birthed him to the Vampire Nation. Sex is fighting with a ghost to get his Kitten’s heart. Little does he know, that he already has it.
Okay…enough for now. I had a hell of a time with the math and dates.
