The Plan?
When Aleca woke up the sun was shinning through the long white drapes. She had expected Ryan to be sleeping by her side when she woke but he was not there. She sighed, turning her body and pushing her face into the pillows, smelling Ryan. Suddenly she felt someone move the bed and when she looked up Ryan sat there, fully dressed, with a plate of food and coffee. “Eat up Ace we have alot to do today.”
Aleca looked at Ryan with mock sadness. “Where were you?”
Ryan smiled at her, putting the plate and coffee down on the night table and pulled Aleca into his arms. She made herself comfortable in his lap, resting against him. “Sorry darlin’. Tandor and I were making sure we had the mansion plans correct and went over some information before we woke you, Diana, and Jennifer up.” Aleca sighed and ran her hand up and down his arm. Kaiylee was still on her mind and she wanted desperately to tell Ryan the truth but didn’t feel it was the right time yet. Ryan could see she was struggling with something in her mind but he decided not to bother her about it, knowing eventually she would let him know. “Hungry?”
“A little... don’t ever leave without telling me okay? Not again....”
Ryan laughed a little, realizing she was not too happy he had left before she had woken up and squeezed her tightly. Looking down at her dressing in a pair of girl boxers and a white shirt his body yearned for her again. She noticed and not wanting to tease him she quickly kissed his lips and slid out of his arms grabbing the plate and picking at her food while Ryan watched her quietly and then remembered what he was supposed to tell her. “Jon sent another fax. He is on his was with backup. They should be here by the time we get the mansion in our control. They will take over from there.”

Aleca, Ryan, Tandor, Diana, and Jennifer all sat at the dining table which was now covered in papers and television screens. “Well you two,” Tandor said calmly to Aleca and Ryan, “What’s the plan?”
Ryan studied the map they has developed from the videotaping of the mansion. Meanwhile Aleca took into consideration what she had learned from her visit at the mansion and her contact with Federico. Suddenly a lightbulb in her mind went off. She worded her idea to herself before saying it aloud, knowing that while it was a good idea, Ryan was not going to enjoy it.

“NO!”
“Ryan look...”
“Aleca you can’t just waltz right into that mansion alone.” Ryan said, standing up violently. Tandor watched it all unfold, amused, but realizing it was a good idea. “It’s not--”
“Safe?,” Aleca asked, crossing her arms. “Ryan this job isn’t exactly number one on the safe job list.”
“Ryan, it’s a good plan,” Jennifer spoke up suddenly.
“Plus if she can get in before us she can make sure Federico doesn’t get alarmed and run away when we come in,” Diana said, her eyes darting around the map, mentally figuring out how they could make it all work.”
“Ryan look, we all know you aren’t exactly thrilled that Aleca will be doing this but we need to get this done and this is the perfect way,” Tandor said, looking up at a now pacing Ryan. Everyone looked at Tandor. It was the first time they had all acknowledged that Ryan and Aleca had something going on. “And you know what? Before we do anything I want to know the truth from you two. I am not going to believe that you two just recently started fooling around. What’s the story?”
Aleca sighed as now Diana and Jennifer had turned their attention to her and Ryan. “We were together before Ryan went away to Berlin....”
Tandor, Diana, and Jennifer all had the same thought come to them. That had been 6 years ago. Nine months after Ryan had left Aleca had given birth to Kaiylee. The three of them felt themselves in a need to ask if that was the secret to Kaiylee’s birth but the sudden remembrance of the mission made them decide it was better for that part of the story to wait.
“Okay...,” Diana said, looking down at the map again, “Anyways are we doing this or not? We need to get moving if this is the plan....”
Everyone now looked at Ryan. Knowing there was no other choice, Ryan nodded, “This is the plan.”
