********

Thia shifted a little ‘oh I don’t want to wake up now,’ she thought as her eyes started to open up a little.

The moment she opened her eyes she gasped and closed them again quickly ‘shit’ she swore in her mind as she felt someone’s arm on her stomach ‘damn it, it wasn’t a dream. God did I really do that?’ she slowly opened her eyes again and looked next to her

‘I did!’

Shane was sleeping next to her on his side, his head almost on her pillow, with one arm under his head, the other on her stomach.

Thia felt her face turn totally red ‘What have I done? I thought it was a dream.’ She tried to move under his arm, but the moment she did he shifted and mumbled something in his sleep ‘ohh’ she felt like crying from the embarrassment.

When she drifted off to sleep last night after reading her diary, Thia started having a bad dream, she was scared in it, that’s all she could remember ‘why was I that scared?’ she thought then rolled her eyes ‘I don’t care right now about the bad dream. How am I going to get myself out of this embarrassing situation?’

At this exact moment Shane decided to wake up ‘exactly what I needed’ she thought as her face turned red again.

Shane looked at the face next to him on the pillow and shook his head slightly ‘I can’t remember how many times I whished I’d wake up and see her like that!’ he thought as he took in the way she looked; with her hair spread on the pillow beside him, her blue eyes still sleepy and her cheeks as red as it could possibly be.

She quickly lifted the arm he hadn’t noticed he was putting on her and jumped out of the bed. Without one word she opened the door and ran out of the room heading straight for hers’, leaving him with his mouth hanging open.

“Okay, a great way to start a day!” taking the covers off him, Shane got off the bed and headed for the bathroom down the hall.

He opened the hot water, took off his clothes and stepped inside the shower ‘it’s going to be a very long day’ he thought as he remembered Thia’s blushing face ‘I’m thinking about sleeping over my mom’s tonight, it’s the best idea. The house is big and Thia can sleep in the guest room and I’ll crush in my old bedroom.’

Shane turned the water off and reached for the towel. He dried off then wrapped the towel around his waist, reaching for the door’s handle; he opened it to face Thia walking towards him. The moment she saw him she blushed again.

“Good morning” he managed to say as she quickly ran and entered the bathroom rumbling something that sounded like “Good morning”

Shane put his hands in his wet hair in desperation thinking ‘okay maybe staying at mom’s wasn’t such a good idea, how am I going to explain the both of us sleeping in separate rooms?’

***

Shane sat at the counter inside the old beautiful kitchen eating his breakfast. He could remember how many times he spent sitting her, eating breakfast, lunch, or dinner. He loved the old house enough that when he and Thia started looking for a house he had one thing in mind; Finding a place just like this one!

And when they finally found the perfect house the price was so high that Thia started looking for another one, but then he went without telling her and bought the house, and told her only when he needed her to sign some papers.

“But Shane, it’s very expensive,” she said with a big smile on her face.

“So? It’s worth it baby” he then leant down and kiss her on her lips “I love the house, and I know you love it as much as I do” Shane knew well she loved it so much.

“We’re going to have a lot of children. A very big family Mr. Shane Wilson,” She kissed him and continued “the biggest!”

Looking back at it now Shane wandered for the million time why she left him. She wanted so bad to have a big family, he knew that because that was what she’d told him when they first met. She said that she would love someday to have the family she never had the chance to have.

Shane’s thoughts were distracted when she entered the room wearing a blue jeans and a white tank top. Her hair was pulled back away from her face in a small ponytail, she had no make up on, only lipstick, but she was still blushing, her face wasn’t as red as it was half an hour ago when he woke up to find her watching him, but it was a little pink now.

‘She’s so beautiful’ he thought as he watched her walk past him to the fridge; she got out an egg, butter, and orange juice. She turned around and opened one of the drawer, got what she wanted then closed it opened another one and again took something out then closed it. She started fixing her breakfast using pots and forks and plates that she knew exactly where everyone of them was.

When she was done, she sat in front of him. Not realizing what she’d just done she simply started eating her breakfast. And he couldn’t stop starting at her.

Thia felt Shane’s eyes focused on her, it annoyed her so much ‘okay I know I acted like a…. oh does he have to be so harsh about it?’ she just couldn’t take the pressure anymore. She looked up and met his wandering gaze.

“Oh, I know you must be angry from what happened last night, well…I um, I’m so…” she stopped and couldn’t get why a ghost of a smile was covering his face “Shane, you don’t have to laugh at me okay? I’m sorry,”

“First of all, I’m not laughing,” his smile grew wider “and second of all, I’m smiling because of what you just did, not because of last night.”

“What do you mean? I didn’t do anything,”

“Is that so?” he raised an eyebrow “and what do you call this?” He pointed down at her half eaten breakfast.

“What about it?” she asked not quite sure what he was applying at.

“You fixed yourself breakfast without asking me for help”

Thia looked at him, and then back at her plate “Shane it’s only omelets, why would I need help in fixing omelets? All I need is an egg and butter and….” Thia stopped and looked back at the things she used; thrown there in the sink “a pan, pot, and a plate” she slowly realized what he was talking about.

“I knew exactly where the pan is and where everything else is!” she couldn’t get it. She walked into the kitchen thinking how embarrassing it was for her to look him in the eye after what happened last night. She started fixing her breakfast and her mind was focused on one thing “Shane’s eyes which were fixed on every move she made.”

“I- I don’t know how it happened,” she looked at him with a shocked expression.

“It’s okay Thia, that meant your starting to remember stuff from your past,” he said grinning but why did she feel that he was about to add something she wasn’t going to like?

“Talking about remembering, do you remember now what was the bad dream about?” he didn’t forget what she said.

The words were there in his mind:

“You know I had to go, but you also know I love him more than anything”

“How can you do this to me? How can you do this to him?”
