"What do you mean you are releasing me?" Svet asked bewildered as she stared at the Orc Leader, "You keep me here, torture me, starve me and suddenly release me? Something has definietly spooked you, question is... Was it the Lycans?" The dhampir crossed her arms.
"You ask many questions for someone who has gained their freedom.." The Orc snorted, displeased that the dhampir was still standing in front of him. THe longer she stayed with them the stronger the chance was that the lycans would come here. His gaze traveled to the scar on her shoulder and it was that moment that Svet knew she had been right, the bastards were going to come here and the Orc wanted to save his village..
Normally Svet wouldn't have cared but she had become friends with his daughter, so for her, the dhampir would leave, "Your daughter is the only reason I am leaving, otherwise I would lead them straight to you... Thank your god for her..." Svet turned away from the Orc leaving the hovel he called a home.
Yasef was waiting outside, her look hopeful that her new friend was going to be released, when Svet nodded the female jumped happily hugging her. Had she been human the hugged probably would've crushed her, thanks the gods she was only half human.
"If the Lycans come anyway, I want you to run... promise me you will run.." Svet looked at her with all seriousness, "If you head toward water they will have a hard time trying to find you, do not stay..."
Yasef nodded in understanding, "Will run, now you run before father changes his mind." The two hugged once more, both happy and sad that she was leaving, "May we meet again.."

Ryn had been very agitated over the last several weeks, he had incited several fightes with younger, insubortant wolves when he usually would've let it slide, it seemed that parasite had more of an effect on him than he wanted to admit. He had the Beast to thank for that...
The Beast snorted in response. The Dhampir wasn't a parasite, she was HIS, HIS MATE, whether the whelp(Ryn) wanted to admit it or not. She brought out the true Alpha within him, the way he needed to be to keep the pack together, to come back from the edge of the end that he (Ryn) had brought them to. They were the weakest pack within the Council and the Beast was going to change that... the hard way..
As if on cue his General appeared, the large wolf panting as he shifted into his just as large human form, " The Orcs moved into our territory, we found two scouts ravaging a small village... needless to say, one of them won't make it through the night.. the other might not make it three..."
The Beast approved, Ryn rolled his eyes making the Beast want to grab him and shake him furiously, and the General stood there watching the interal power struggle.. It wasn't often that the Beast and the Man seperated into two completely different entities but it happened and if the two didn't become one again the pack was in for a hard ride.
" The dhampir's scent was faintly on one of the Orcs..." The General spoke cautiously, watching as his Alpha's eyes turned vicious.
"Where did they go?" The voice was dark, much darker than Ryn's usual voice.
"We followed to their camp but didn't leave the treeline... Her scent was heavy there but I'm almost certain the leader would've let her go knowing that two of his scouts had been killed for lack of a better word.." The Beta left out the fact that the dhampir's scent had been different, he knew that scent. His mate had it when she came to bare him pups.. but that was not something he was going to tell the unstable Alpha.
Without a word the Alpha walked past the Beta, he was going to find her and he was going to make the Orcs pay if they touched one hair on her head, Ryn be damned the Beast thought as he casually shifted into the large chocolate colored beast..
"I'm coming.." He mummered.
