Chapter 11

Cherry
Chapter 11
(080201)

Autumn took a deep breath and, gathering her courage crossed the kitchen to the fridge. She scanned the shelves for the juice when she heard the bar stool Dominick was on scrape against the tiles of the floor. She glanced over her shoulder, her brown hair flying into her face as she watched him. She brushed the hair out of her face and blinked as Dominick approached her slowly, setting his glass down on the counter near the sink.

Autumn turned back to the fridge, brushing her hair over her shoulders as she resumed her search for the juice. She strained her ears, struggling to hear the soft pad of his canvas shoes on the tiles. She smelt him before she felt his warmth behind her. He still smelt like cinnamon and caramelized sugar and Autumn had to stop herself from taking deeper breaths.

Dominick sighed heavily as he placed a hand on the fridge door, covering her hand that was holding it open while his other hand rested on the counter near the fridge. Autumn was trapped and she stiffened as he lowered his head to press his head against her shoulder.

"You're a whore." He eventually said as he pushed the door to the fridge close. Autumn stepped back as the fridge narrowly grazed her stomach and she was forced back against him. She felt anger swell in the pit of her stomach as the anger behind his words hit.

"Excuse me?" April hissed angrily as she moved to turn around.

"You heard me." He snarled as he moved his hips forward to force her against the fridge.

"How dare you." Autumn hissed as she faced the fridge, tapping her foot irritably.

"You have absolutely no right to be righteously indignant when you've been playing with me all this time." His breath was warm against her ear and suddenly, over the cinnamon and the sugar she could smell the bitter undertones of alcohol.

"Playing with you? I have done nothing of the sort!" She protested.

"Whore!" He growled.

"Stop it." She told him.

"Was I just a game to you? Was I just a little bit of fun when you got sick of what’s-his-face?" He asked his voice lowered and strangely hoarse. He sounded pained and very upset and she would have cared more if he hadn't been so rude to her.

"Then what? I opened my heart to you. I've been infatuated with you for months. I haven't gone one entire week without dreaming about you. God, did you think it wouldn't hurt? Or was that your plan, to hurt me?" He gasped out, his voice thick.

Autumn felt her back go rigid as she struggled to keep up with him. She didn't know what he was on about and she was trying to calm her breathing as she ignored the anger swelling in her heart.

"What the fuck are you on about?" She snarled.

"So how long have you and Jackson been together? Is he your true love? Your lover? What's the deal Autumn, did he pop your cherry?" He asked, lowering his voice as he pressed against her, forcing her flush against the fridge while he spoke.

Autumn froze, lowering her head to look down at the floor, reeling slightly as she began to cotton on to what he was saying. Autumn was plain. She knew that and she had never had someone sent into a jealous rage because of her. She felt her heart flutter with affection at the absurd situation. She straightened her back, keeping her head lowered as she looked at their feet. He was wearing hand decorated canvas shoes that were painted with bright colours and rockabilly designs.

"Jackson is like the brother I never had nor wanted." Autumn said softly and Dominick froze behind her. He took a deep breath before lowering a hand to skim her side. She could feel the heat of his palm sear through the denim of her jacket and the thick wool of her sweater.

"So you aren't a couple?" He asked quietly, his voice losing some of its hoarse, huskiness.

"Never have been, never will." She answered firmly.

"I'm sorry for calling you a whore." He buried his face in the crook of her neck, taking a deep sniff of her neck.

"Why did you?" She asked, still a little hurt.

"I was jealous and I've been drinking. And I'm really sorry." He said as he licked at the crook of her neck.

"What are you doing?" She asked, perturbed by his behaviour.

"Are you wearing perfume?" He asked as her neck turned cold where he licked her, his breath on the damp skin causing goose bumps to sprout up on her neck.

"Yes." She answered.

"It tastes like crap but it smells good. Real good." He replied as he kept nosing at her neck.

Autumn moved her neck to the side as he kissed a certain spot on her neck that made her knees wobble and her stomach clench. He wrapped an arm around her stomach, pulling her close while the other arm remained anchored to the counter. He licked the spot on her neck again and Autumn pulled her hair up off her neck and held it together with her hand.

"Body of a woman." He whispered as his hand travelled along her stomach as his other hand came to her hip. The fingers of his right hand threaded through her belt loops as he kissed her neck softly.

"White hills." His lips were close to her ear as a hand slid around her side to cup her left buttocks.

"White thighs." The hand on her backside slid down her thigh to cup her knee and he had to stoop slightly to be able to each it.

"You look like a world." His hand came up from her knee, dragging his fingers along the top of her thigh.

"Lying in surrender." He breathed hoarsely as Autumn tried to keep her breathing even.

"My rough peasant's body digs in you." He forced her legs apart and slid his leg between them pushing her forward a little, forcing her to bend over at the hips with a hand on her side.

"And makes the son leap from the depth of the earth." He pressed himself against her and she could feel the weight and heat of his erection pressing against the small of her back.

"I've forgotten the rest." He admitted, grinning against the skin of her neck as he fiddled with the hem of her denim jacket. Autumn pressed her palms against the refrigerator to support her weight as her back ached.

"Why is it that whenever I'm around you all logic and reason flies out window?" He asked quietly as his warm breath skidded across the exposed skin of her neck.

"I know the feeling." she replied as he raised his thigh to press against her intimately. She felt the seam of her jeans push against her and her underwear and she felt the familiar tightening of her stomach. His thigh pressed up against her and he pulled his thigh back towards him, causing her clothes to run along her private parts.

Dominick slid a hand up her side, underneath the fabric of her clothes as she kept her body bent forward, arching her back. His hand was impossibly hot against the skin of her hip and she whimpered as he brought his other hand around to press against the small of her back. He pressed his fingers against the curve of her back, turning his wrist to an unusual angle before rolling his hips against her. She felt his erection rub against her backside as his body moved against her.

Autumn tossed her head back as she purred, her body thrumming with hormones. Her hair flew behind her as her fingers curled against the refrigerator door. Autumn froze her cheeks aflame when the door to the kitchen door swung open and shut.

"Oh Jesus, I leave you alone for five minutes and this is what you get up to." Autumn felt her cheeks burn brightly and she glanced over at the voice.

"Hi Jackson." He smiled at her and she closed her eyes.

"Hey love. I forgot to give you the key to your room and Michelle said sent you this way." She could hear him smirking at her and she turned back to the fridge, pressing her forehead against the cool surface.

"Here." Autumn tried to find a plausible explanation when Dominick removed his hands, but keep his leg firmly pressed against her intimately. She heard the clatter of keys as they flew through the air. Dominick pressed against her a little as she heads the sound of keys hitting flesh. He leant against her as he pressed the keys to her room, moving her hair away from her ear to press a kiss against the skin near her earlobe.

"Dominick?" Autumn cringed as Jackson spoke, causing Dominick to pull his body away from her.

"Yeah man?" Dominick said his voice comfortably neutral.

"She's like a sister to me so don't you dare hurt her."

"Hadn't planed on it."

"I mean it. I will hunt you down to hurt you. It probably won’t hurt you much but that don't mean I won’t try."

"I understand."

"Oh and please for the love of God use protection, she has far too much potential to have your babies."

"I wouldn't want to jeopardise her future for anything Jackson."

"Good. And get a room, we prepare food here." Autumn opened her eyes as she heard the kitchen door open and swing shut. Dominick pressed himself up against her again before leaning down to speak.

"Shall we take this upstairs?"

Hello my Darlings,

How are things?

I’m pretty dandy. Australia day was absolute shite. Don’t ask.

Anyways without further ado, the responses.

Jess- Cliff hangers make the world go ‘round and help generate interest (I want to get published one day, try to remember).

Cadence-Who cares if they aren’t rock and roll, it’s your band you can have who you want. Yeah, there are connections between all my stories that I find to be glaringly obvious but I write them so I know.

CooConut- Be glad that you can crochet hats all I can do is the chains that you start off with. I’m not nearly patient enough to learn that kind of shit. I didn’t even mean to make Edward creepy, it just happened. And as for him making it your fault, go play strip poker with his mates. Then see how he reacts.

DrpnBlood4U- I’ve ordered them back, multiple times. Autumn got all feminist with me going on about how I can’t order her around and Dominick smirked at me. Bastard.

Anon1- I promised myself that I’d respond to every review. And here’s your update.

Dream-Toxin- Edward isn’t meant to be creepy he just came out like that.

Forever his- Cherry seems to be everyone’s favourite. Yeah it’s hard for me to look at my sisters mates that I’ve known for years cause I think DAMN, you got buff.

Stas- Not quite. I doubt he’d be out at a party hitting the bottle, he’d be at home or at the hospital, but not a party, even if he just graduated.

Borntodance- He creeped me out too.

Maneo- I hate the foreshore. I really do. I always get confused with fics based in America and it’s easier for me to write for a local setting.

SecretQuill- Jealousy is a funny thing.

Anon2- I hope this clears up some things.

Velida- Cherry will finish when Dominick and Autumn’s story does. For as long as the let me write them, I will.

Psychotic_Parade- Chuck Bass… ‘nuff said.

Nicole- Nice name, same as my sister. I updated as fast as I could.

Primdemure- Fan away, it helps my already considerable ego.

Ria- I love Pablo Neruda.

And that’s everyone.

Thanks for reviewing. I’m slowly working through my writer’s block, very unhappy with this chapter, but hey, you can’t always get what you want.

Updates are going to be very slow coming, sorry guys, things on my end aren’t exactly sunshine and roses.

Love always,
MissMalice

P.s.: I recommend that you all check out Gerard Butler. I’ve loved him since Phantom of the Opera and he has VERY pretty shoulders.
