Chapter 11
I apologise for the hiatus, I'm back and have written a bit more (not much I've been dealing with writers block) This is an incomplete chapter and will be finished as soon as possible. REVIEWS PLEASE!!

Then the doorbell rang. Peter slinks off to answer the door and Canly gives a worried look after him.
“I….I’m sorry Ms. Guaran. I didn’t mean..” I start to sputter.
“It’s ok Bronwyn; Peter hasn’t been taken down in awhile. He needed to be put in his place, and I told you call me Canly.”
“Put in his place? Wait….you mean I’ve just made Peter my subordinate?” I ask in amazement.
“That’s exactly what you did, and you did it like a pro,” Gabriel says sounding full of pride.
“But I don’t want Pete to think of me like that, like someone he needs to fear.”
“He doesn’t necessarily fear you honey, he respects you and knows that he can go to you if he needs help and to never underestimate you,” explains Canly while she brushes the last little bit of flour off her pants.
“But…,” I start to mutter.
“No buts, now come with me. We need to get you dressed, I wont have you adopted into the family looking like that.”
