Chapter 11


"Sorry to interrupt, sir. But Kielan's guests have arrived." Jin said knocking on the door of the private room his boss was in.

"Is that so." He answered then turned his attention back to the lady he was with. "We'll have to pick up where we left off, later. There is someone here that I have to meet. This is the key to my suite; I'll expect to see you there later tonight. Yes?" She nodded and quietly left the room.

"It's good to see you haven't forgotten about the ladies, Seth." Julian said with a smirk.

He stopped in mid-path of leaving then said tilting his chin upwards. "I may still enjoy entertaining the ladies, pretty one." breathing him in deeply. "But, you are the one that I enjoy the most." and kissed him deeply before disappearing outside.

"Jule. What are you doing? Are you deliberately trying to piss him off?" Jin asked in a slight hiss.

"Give it a rest, Jin. I know he enjoys my sarcasm. It makes the sex hotter." He stated with a grin.

"Ever since we started working for Seth, he’s all I hear about from you when we’re at home. It’s like I don’t exist within your heart anymore. Julian, he is tearing us apart. Is that what you want? I miss who you really are. The Julian that I know best." Jin replied back holding his arm.

"Is it me that you really miss? Or just my ass?" Julian asked then left before he could answer.

"You.” Jin said softly, following him.

After Damian led his party inside, he spotted Kielan and they walked over to him. The older man said when he saw them. "Ah good, you're here." then added when seeing Jai standing next to his friend. "You must be the one who stole Dami's heart. Jai, right?" Jai only nodded in response. Kn smn smiled and said. "A rather shy one, I like that." Damian introduced the rest of the party to him then led the group towards the open balcony staircase. Once finding a wide table and seating them Kielan added. "Please, make yourselves comfortable. I need to go officially open the club and then I shall return." He motioned for Damian to come with him and said as they walked back downstairs. "You have a pure one don't you?"

"Yeah, I do. I don't think I want him around any of this Kie, because although he isn't new to the attention that comes with it, thanks to Tara, he is to actual experiences. This business would eat him alive. I think what I'm most afraid of is if I did bring him into, I did at one time entertain the idea, the innocence that I first fell in love with, would completely vanish. You know, as well as I do, how quickly this business can change a person. Literally overnight."

"Dami. I can still remember when you first began. I know how harsh this life we know, is. I was your first experience with it and you were terrified. It doesn't take much to change anyone, no matter who they are, concerning what this life offers. And as far Jai goes, it's not my decision on how or what he learns, because that is not my place. If you don't want him near any of this, then that is your decision. I won’t ask you to go against what your heart tells you. I never have and I never will. You should only do what you believe is right. I can tell you want that young man to experience things that only true heart-felt feelings can provide and if it's what you really desire, then by all means do so."

"Kielan. You know that I've always relied on your thoughts of things and advice. This time is no different. I wanted you to meet him and help with my decision of what to do. I can honestly say now, that I don't want him around any of this especially considering his fragile state right now. I want nothing but what's best for him and I intend to see to it that he has that."

"That is fully understandable, Dami. And that is the way it should be." His mentor said as they reached the doors. He spoke to one of his bouncers then replied looking back at his close friend. "It's time for Dark Divinity to officially open." The golden doors slowly began to move and the awaiting crowd from outside started to make their way in. Loud chatter began filling the immediate and surrounding areas as most of the patrons headed to the awaiting bars, while others filed towards the dance floor as loud music began pulsating through the huge overhead speakers.

"Wow. This place is absolutely awesome. And look, it even has a stage." Jessie said above the music, noticing the raised platform below where they sat. He added. "Do you think we would ever be able to play here?"

The others shrugged their shoulders. A voice from behind them said walking up. "I don't see why not." Jai was the first one to look up noticing a very handsome, well-dressed man in a three-piece suit with coat draped over his shoulders.

Jessie asked. "Do you work here?"

"Unfortunately, no. I don't. I'm just here for the grand opening. My name is Seth Ashland; Kielan is my brother. He owns this club." He then said looking at Jai. "You must be the young man Damian has been talking so much about.” Jai looked down, remembering what Damian had told him about this guy. Seth smiled a little lifting his chin then said. "You are such a beautiful little kitten. He is very lucky."

"Would you mind not touching him?” Cassidy stood quickly swatting his hand away from Jai. “Otherwise things will get out of control quickly up here."

Seth looked at him noticing they were both the same height and build then said with a smirk. "Oh, so are you sticking him as well, then?" Cassidy about flew over the chair that blocked him, but was held back by both Ashton and Jessie.

"Cass, please stop. He's not worth going to jail for." Steph pleaded then relaxed a little when seeing Damian and Kielan appearing almost instantly.

"If you have something to discuss, Seth. It would be best to do so with Kielan or myself. Not them." He said moving the other away from the table.

Seth pulled his arm free straightening his clothes. "Of course." Was they rey reply he returned then winked at Jai and left.

Damian shouted. "That is warning number one, Seth."

Kielan apologized for his brothers’ behavior then asked. "Is everyone okay here?" They all nodded yes in response.

Damian turned his attention back to the table then said. "Thanks Cassidy. I owe you one."

The guitarist replied sitting back down. "Not a problem. That guy just rubbed me the wrong way. I’m not usually like that." Damian nodded sitting down beside Jai and Kielan. After a few minutes passed, everyone began to relax a little more and tried to enjoy the remainder of the evening.

Seth shouted as he forcefully opened the door to his room. "You find out who that guy was that interrupted me. I am going to teach him a valuable lesson of what not to do when it comes to whom I am. I don't care what you have to do to get the information, but get it!"

"Yes sir." Jin said then left. Julian stayed behind.

He asked after a few minutes of thinking. "Should I draw you a hot bath, sir?"

"Right now, no. My mood is not the best and hot water will not help it any."

"Okay. Well, I think I know of something that might possibly help it." Julian stated walking fully into the room, once closing the door behind and locking it.

Seth poured a straight drink and downed it with one gulp, then poured another. He asked a moment after the liquid began to settle in. "And what would that be, angel?"

Julian slowly moved towards him, removing the clothes he wore then said. "Pretend I am that young man who stood up to you."

"You are such a damn demon, Julian." Seth stated pulling the other into his arms then said after running his tongue along his slim neck. "Ah damn you are so fucking delicious."

Julian grinned in reply moving his arms around the others neck allowing Seth’s tongue to slip between his parted lips.

An hour and a half later, Steph was the first one to stand then said. "I'm going to find the ladies room. Leah, you need to go?"

“Yeah. It’ll give me a chance to fix my makeup too, these hot lights have made it melt a little." The others laughed which lighten the mood they had been in.

After the girls left, Kielan said. "I need to go mingle now. When you guys are ready to leave, just let me know and I'll have my car waiting." Damian nodded and waved to him.

Cassidy finished his drink then said. "I'm going to wait for them, I don't trust that Seth guy. Freaking creep."

"I'll go with you." Jessie chimed in following his friend.

Ashton said once finishing his drink as well. "I need a re-fill then I'm going to go find Michael.”

When they were alone, Damian asked Jai. "Are you okay? Do you want to head back home?"

"I'm fine. That guy just made me nervous. That's all."

"I'm sorry that I wasn't with you earlier, baby. I won't let that happen again."

Jai smiled and said touching his face. "It's okay. Really."

Damian returned it then leaned over and kissed him carefully. Allowing the kiss to deepen a little before gently breaking it. He then stated. "If we continue with that, we just may end up leavingly."ly." Jai blushed slightly. Damian smiled again and kissed his forehead softly. It was at this point that he noticed Seth standing by one of the bar counters on the lower floor along with Jin and Julian. The guy raised his glass when noticing that Damian spotted them, then smirked. Soon after the three of them disappeared into a sea of dancing bodies. 'That's warning number two, Seth.' He thought silently.
