Chapter 11
HELLO EVERYONE,
Yes, I’m back from my very long hiatus. I want to say THANK YOU to all of my reviewers, new and old. I’ve been trying and trying to get a new chapter out, but we all know how writer’s block goes. I do hope you all will enjoy this chapter. It took awhile to finally get this. I do hope to have more soon, but no promises O:-)

Chapter 11 (sorry no chapter name yet)
The ceremony was over and all the graduates were now on the field with family and friends. Christian had already said his goodbye to his mother and completely ignored his father for obvious reasons. He was now sitting in his car, ready to reunite with his lover.
Alexia ran over and hugged her mother forcefully, whispering a ‘thank you’. She pulled back from her mother and turned to face her father. Extending her hand, she shook his and cracked a half smile, then turned and ran for her car. Christian was waiting for her to pull off so he could follow. She threw her stuff in the back of her car and drove off. She slowed down by her brothers’ car and mouthed the words store. He nodded then waited a few minutes to follow her out. They drove toward the port and pulled into a mini mart that was a few blocks away. Alexia ran over to his truck and gave him a peck on the lips.
“Anything you need?” she asked ruffling his hair.
“Besides you, sweetheart, nothing. Hurry ok?” he replied holding her face.
“No problem, in and out.”
She kissed him again and rushed inside. Heading straight to the feminine aisle, she grabbed some tampons and eyed the pregnancy tests. Swaying back and forth and biting her lip, Alex tried to decide whether or not to get one. Saying ‘fuck it’ in her mind Alexia grabbed two boxes and hurried to the counter. She rushed back out to her car and threw her bag in the seat beside her. Then drove off again with Christian in tow. They pulled into a hotel a few blocks from the ports and booked a room for the night.
Once in the room, Christian grabbed her and held her close to him just inhaling her scent. Alex relaxed in his grip and molded her body to his. It was so good to be back with her lover again. She felt as if a part of her had died, not being able to be with him. She wanted to tell him how she felt, even though he probably felt the same way.
“Chris...” she started but he shushed her and held her tighter than before.
“Just enjoy the moment… it felt like forever.” His voice was full of emotion as almost on the verge of tears.
Alexia understood and hugged him tighter. She placed light kisses on his neck and ear, whispering ‘I love you’ over and over again. Christian slowly released her from his bear hug and kissed her deeply. Alexia was on cloud 9 from his embraces and didn’t realize when he walked away until she felt alone. Opening her eyes she saw her lover moving their bags to a vacant wall in the room and then sitting down.
“So what do you want to eat?” he asked her.
“Anything, I’m not picky tonight,” Alex replied.
“Well seafood it is then,” he smiled.
“So do I get my extra graduation gift yet big brother?” Alexia asked shedding her good clothes and throwing on a t-shirt.
“Oh yeah, I almost forgot.”
Christian reached into his bag and pulled out a folder. He looked up at her and smiled.
“Ok, you ready?” he teased.
“YES!!”
He laughed and then continued, “Ok first, I got a promotion.” He held up the official document.
“Chris congrats…” she started but was interrupted.
“Wait, not done haha… and second, you’re my new personal assistant. Now you can congratulate me,” he chuckled.
Alexia was dumbfounded. There was no way he just said what she thought he said. And as if reading her mind, he spoke up.
“Yes I did just say that you are my new assistant. You do have a job with my company, I mean after all you are going to my school next year.
“Oh my god, that is absolutely amazing. Big brother!!” Alexia was so ecstatic that she ran over and jumped up onto him hugging his neck.
“You are so wonderful and so amazing. Thank you,” she said before giving him a deep and passionate kiss.
Christian dropped his folder and held her tightly to him, returning the kiss whole-heartedly. He walked them over to the bed and knelt down on it slowly making sure not to drop his lover. Then he eased her down onto it, never letting go. Alex broke the kiss for air, and trailed her lips down his neck. She could feel him hardening against her and giggled.
“Chris, sweetie, we really should go eat and then we can play all night,” Alexia said as she combed her fingers through his hair.
Chris breathed deep, “ You’re right. Let’s get going.”
He released his sibling and straightened his clothes. Then Chris walked over to the chair, picked up her graduation dress and handed it to her with a half smirk. Alexia took the dress and slipped it on. She fixed herself and grabbed the room key.
They dined at a seafood place a few blocks down from the hotel. Not much was said and not much food was consumed between the two. They were content on being in each other’s company and holding the other’s hand. Chris wanted to split a dessert and let his sis pick which. As they fed each other the chocolate mousse cake, Alexia thought back to her pregnancy test and zoned out for a moment.
“Alex… you ok?” Christian asked getting concerned with the grim look on her face.
Alexia snapped out of it and smiled, “I’m fine.”
“You feeling ok? Anything wrong? You know you can talk to me about anything, right?” Chris held both her hands trying to find out what was wrong with his love.
“Really, I’m ok... I was just thinking. It’s no big deal. You ready to get out of here? I feel like taking a walk.”
Christian signaled the server for the check. Alexia excused herself to the rest room. She splashed her face with cold water to try and snap herself out of it. When she returned to Chris, he was ready to go. They left the restaurant and walked hand and hand along the ports, admiring the boats. Alex led them out onto one of the piers and sat on the shaded bench.
“Can I ask you something, big brother?”
“Anything.”
“What were your plans for your future, you know, before we happened?” She looked out at the water as she waited for an answer.
Christian thought for a minute. He really didn’t have an answer for her. Then he tried to figure out where she was coming from. He answered as best as he could.
“Well, I’m not quite sure. I knew I wanted to move up in my company. Finish school, maybe find a serious girlfriend, not really sure what else.”
She smiled and continued with another question, “Did you ever want a family, you know children, pets… all that stuff?”
Christian thought deep before answering, “You know, I never really thought about it before. What I always envisioned was just working and enjoying life. I never really had any family thoughts before. Maybe it was because none of the girls I’ve been with lasted. I was content on living out life with the whole family hustle and bustle I suppose.”
He pulled his sibling close to him and asked her the same question she just asked him.
“Actually at one point in time I did think about it. But I always considered kids as being a hassle. I thought about it with Kevin, then he did what he did and I totally changed my mind.”
“Are you thinking about how we sort of messed up our family? I don’t want you to feel bad about that Alex.” Chris pulled her to face him, “That wasn’t your or my fault. Our father is a moronic asshole, who wouldn’t know love if he was drowning in it. It doesn’t matter what he says about us, he doesn’t matter. All that matters is your happiness… my happiness, we are all that matter now, ok?” He searched her eyes for agreement.
Alexia smiled and pressed her lips to his. Christian wrapped his arms around her smaller frame and held her to him as he deepened the kiss. He broke the kiss and stood up from the bench.
“Come on, it’s getting late.”
“You’re in a rush huh,” Alex teased.
Christian just smirked and kept walking pulling her along with him. In no time they made it back to the room. Upon arriving, they went straight into the bathroom. Together they enjoyed a nice shower, washing the other and then just hold each other under the warm spray of water.
Eventually, they climbed out and dried off. Alexia threw on a big t-shirt and Chris just put on some boxers. He pulled her into the king size bed and held her as close to him as she could get.
“I’m glad I have you back,” he said nuzzling her hair.
“Me too,” she replied.
