Time to spill the beans

(SD92: Triple update day hooray.)

................
Nine

If Francina, Samuel, or Frank walked downstairs they would have found Christina laying on her back and Diamond on top of her switching between kissing on her neck and kissing her lips.Despite the position and the fact that two of the buttons on Christina’s shirt were undone Diamond had continued to respect her and hadn’t let her hands wander. Though Christina was making it difficult, Diamond pulled away as they heard Francina calling for her daughter in-law.The two fixed their clothes and hair as they went upstairs. Francina swiveled around and smiled.

“Well hello, Christina you didn’t say you had a friend over.”

“Hi Mrs. Delmone, I’m Diamond.” she shook her hand.

“Oh so polite and what a pretty name, call me Fran sweetheart most people do.” Diamond thanked her.

“Diamond brought me home earlier I was feeling a little sick.”

“Oh you’re working too hard.”

“I tried to tell her that but she’s too stubborn to listen.” Diamond said.

“Oh shush.”

“And look at how thin she is, it’s like she’s not even trying to put on weight.”

Francina squealed.

“You, I like I knew I wasn’t crazy, did you girls eat already?”

“Hours ago.” Diamond said.

“Well come into the kitchen Sammy had a craving for pizza.”

They followed her in and Francina bounced over to her husband.

“Love look, I told you she had friends, this is Diamond she’s worried about her health.”

Samuel looked up and smiled.

“Hello there, I’m Samuel, just Samuel.”

She smiled and shook his hand.

“It’s nice to meet both of you.”

“Where is Frank?” Christina asked.

He came downstairs and frowned.

“Who the hell is this?”

They turned and Samuel wiped his mouth.

“Now Frank you can be polite with your wife’s friend can’t you?”

“No, Christina doesn’t have friends.”

“Yes I do.”

“Fine I’ll play along, who is this?”

Christina rolled her eyes.

“This is Diamond.”

“Hey Frank nice to finally meet you I’ve heard so much about you.”

He gave Diamond a dirty look.

“Really now? How come I’ve never met you before?”

“I’m a new friend, it’s not impossible to meet people you know.” she said.

“Well you can leave the same way you came.”

“Frank!” his mother hissed.

“What? It’s not like I insulted the bitch or anything.” he said.

Diamond rolled her eyes then smirked, she could play if he wanted to.

“It’s okay I can leave I understand wanting to be the center of attention.” she said.

Samuel sort of giggled behind her.

“Excuse me?”

“I mean that’s the only reason you could have to not want me here, we just met, I know I know new people are so interesting and all, it can be a little intimidating.”

He walked toward her and Christina stepped in front of her.

“Frank leave her alone.”

“No, the bitch has a big mouth so she can handle the trouble that comes with every word she says.”

“Is that right?” Diamond says challenging him.

“Yeah it is, got a problem?”

“If I did would you help me fix it?” Diamond responded.

He looked ready to punch her.

“You know you should work on that temper of yours it makes that tacky lime green suit even harder to look at.”

“You must want trouble.”

“Aww, did I hurt your feelings?”

He glared at her.

“You’ll pay for this crap.”

“What are you going to do?”

She grabbed Christina’s wrist and gently pulled her behind her he swung and she grabbed his wrist, her eyes widened a little then she gave him a dirty look and yanked him forward like he was a rag doll so she could whisper in his ear.

“I want you to understand I know your dirty little secret and you should be ashamed of yourself.”

She let go of his wrist and he backed away from her quickly until he fell over the coffee table , he didn’t stop he continued scooting away from her.

“It was nice meeting you too Frank.” she spat his name

Quickly, she turned on heel to storm out, Frank got up and ran upstairs he slammed the door and Samuel cleared his throat. Christina turned around as he put an arm around his wife.

“I don’t know about you but, I like her.”

Francina laughed.

“I haven’t seen him that scared since he hit puberty and realized he would have to work harder to stay in shape.”

“Invite her over more often clearly he needs some better manners, you will sleep in our room tonight.”

“....Uh....right.”

“Come eat, I know your young friend knows better than I do about your health.”

“Um...okay.”

She turned and glanced toward the steps she had never seen him so scared, he had the upper hand as far as she was concerned but if he couldn’t handle Diamond clearly she needed her help. She turned away and touched her lips, she could almost admit she needed more than help from Diamond.

...............................................

The next day Christina met Diamond in the teacher’s lounge, and asked her what she said to Frank.

“I know what he’s doing to you.”

“What are you talking about?”

“With Nicole.”

Christina backed up.

“How do you know about that?”

She looked out the little window on the door then covered it and took her demon form.

“There’s more to me than meets the eye.....cliché but true.”

Christina backed away and tripped over the chair.

“Don’t be afraid Christina, I would never hurt you.”

Christina chewed on her lip.

“How do....I know that? I lost my family because of demons.”

“Simple really, I’ve had plenty of chances and just yesterday we were alone for hours and you’re still unharmed.”

Christina surveyed her.

“When I touched Frank the other day I was able to see the memories connected to you, so that’s how I really know.”

“Why.....because I kissed you?”

She sighed, Christina was ready to bolt and only prepared to listen if Diamond was careful with her words.

“I have some things to explain to you.” she waved her hand and the room slowly started glowing purple.

“What did you do?” Christina asked suspiciously.

“Stopped time, now listen you can run if you want I won’t stop you but I will not start time again until you listen to what I have to say, after all, you have a very strong and negative opinion about demons and even though I’m not directly in front of the door you still aren’t running for the hills. Don’t you want to know why?”

Christina chewed on her lip.

“Fine but I have a question.”

“But of course.”

“Why now? You waited this long to tell me why?”

“Because I wanted you to trust me.”

Christina gave her an odd look.

“And I wanted you to trust me because you’re my soulmate, Frank’s a piece of shit, and even if you don’t want me I don’t want you with him.”

Christina sighed.

“Fine...I’ll listen.”

“Great, just take a seat and we can talk.”

End Chapter
..........

(SD92: I don’t want to end this just yet but I might have to because even though it’s mostly told in this setting I feel like at some point I'll just have to cut this story off and make a sequel. Right now she's still in training and we haven't seen so much of her powers but perhaps if I add more into it the sequel would be placed in the fantasy section.)
