Chapter Nine
Chapter Nine
"I'm going with you, little bro. There's some things you need to know," Garrison said, his brown eyes lowered to floor.
Ryker turned on Garrison. "You knew about them?!" he said loudly. Garrison shook his head. "No! Not until you disappeared anyway--I heard them talking. I'll tell you about it later, after you've calmed down, alright?" Garrison said, looking at the little male. Ryker just stared at him, long and hard until he just sighed--all of his energy just--gone. He turned to his few things and began to pack them. ~*~*~*~*~ Apollo grew more and more irritated. He couldn't sit and watch the entrance all day, nor could he make sure Reapers stayed away from the Division. At the same time, he didn't want Ryker's to die. The Reaper felt himself at an impasse. He had just risen to pace when he was jumped from behind, pinned to the ground by some unknown Reaper. "You were told not to leave for the Radantian dog and yet here you are." The man sneered. "Who knew you'd sink so slow." Apollo didn’t know why, but suddenly he was furious at the male. Before the Reaper knew it, the tables had been turned. "And you talk to much." In one quick movement, Apollo had slit the Reaper's throat in a spray of blood. Frowning as he was splattered with red, Apollo ripped the two-way from the male's belt. "Breaker, breaker." Apollo rasped. "Anyone who tries for the escaped Radantian dies." He shut off the frequency before he could get a reply. He was through playing. ~*~*~*~*~ So there were some questions: Camilla being overpowered by Ryker is not his fault. He's a servant and not a fighter, and Jeta is kinder on his own people than he is Radantians. And sorry for the short 8th chapter! It really was kinda just filler. I'm going to try to get these out. I'm editing and trying to find stopping places. I'll update regularly. I promise!
