Chapter Ten

Jamie awoke for the second times realizing that he was still inside the same hotel room he had been before. He noticed that he still wore the same outfit from the last time. He glanced at the fully-curtained windows which slightly allowed glimpses of sunlight to go through them; indicating that the day was up at that time. He wondered how long he had been sleeping instead of his lack of date and time updating until now.
He suddenly felt someone sleeping beside him; the soft breaths reverberating through their joined sheet and blanket tickling him. He turned his head to see the other occupant and almost gasped loudly when he saw HIM.
It was the silver vampire himself; sleeping neatly under the sheet and blanket still garbed in his previous clothes save his coat. His sleeping face was somewhat peaceful and almost lovely, considering his usual sly and half-heavenly-half-creepy smile; his beautiful facial feature was flawless as usual. His silver odd long bangs covered almost half of his right face giving him a somewhat mysterious, gorgeous mask alike. His arms folded comfortably across his chest; his delicate long fingers intertwined each others. His soft and steady breaths made his chest and arms to go up and down repeatedly in slow, peaceful paces.
Jamie stunned staring at him. He always thought that Scarlet was a gorgeous creature, being a vampire. But this man was totally different level from him. It was as if Opal was an angel coming from heaven itself; he was so stunning and beautiful it was almost absurd to get in thinking. How this heavenly beautiful creature could be so mean and ruthless in the first place was beyond his thought.
The silver vampire stirred a bit in his sleep snapping Jamie almost instantly from his wonderment. He eyed the older vampire with peaking fear, afraid that he might have gotten him awake. Nonetheless he seemed undisturbed and continued his slumber, much to Jamie’s relief.
Jamie’s eyes glided around the room to observe every detail they got caught into. Thanks to the dimmed sunlight, he could see enough clearly. He saw that the room was a standard hotel room, with pale beige (if he hadn’t mistaken) wallpaper; a painting of sunflowers hung on the wall opposite the bed, right above the small buffet with also small television set on it, mini fridge on the small tea table beside the bed, a wardrobe, a set of a wooden table and two wooden chairs on the corner of the room before the balcony, and a pastel orange colored sofa across the bed.
The bed itself was guessable queen or king size, since it could easily cope to two bodies lying upon it without much narrowness. His attention came back to his companion at bed, who still drowned deep in his slumber. Or much more likely so…
Jamie literally was taken a back with loud gasp when he suddenly faced two gleaming silver orbs of eyes right in front of him. Opal was fully awaken now, he sat up and neatly folded his legs beneath the sheet and blanket to his chest, wrapping his arms around them; giving him almost innocent, childish look and asked lightly, “You’re awaken now?”
That wasn’t even a question, Jamie thought, frowned. He simply nodded and didn’t vocally answer, still too dazed, and afraid, to vocalize his own.
Opal smiled. “Are you hungry?”
Now after he mentioned it, Jamie could hear his stomach growling. Embarrassed, he shyly nodded and unconsciously rubbed his stomach.
Opal’ smile widened. “Well then, let’s eat! I haven’t taken my breakfast yet, though it seemed late for the time.” He abruptly yanked his own parts of sheet and blanket from his body without much influencing Jamie’s which he had shared the things with; and then slid down the bed with graceful and swift movement Jamie would like to give compliment to.
He walked to the nearby fridge and pulled out some cold sandwiches, much likely tunas, and offered them to Jamie. The boy reluctantly accepted the sandwiches and slightly winced when his hands touched the foods; it was damn cold.
Opal recognized it and apologized, though his voice didn’t show it. “Sorry, those are the only humans’ foods I could get back then.”
Jamie mumbled a weak ’thanks’ and ‘it doesn’t matter’ before digging out his meal. He was so much starving he didn’t care he ate the hell out all cold tuna sandwiches he had been given. He ate with ferocious appetite, much to Opal’s amusement.
The silver vampire chuckled heartily; amused with the sight the human boy gave him. He pulled out a can of soda and a bottle of water for himself. He nudged Jamie with the can and after the boy took it, he went to one of the chairs and sat down. He grabbed his coat and pulled out a small tube contained blood tablets. He let out three tablets at once and plunged them into the bottle. The tablets were quickly melting and dissolved within the water, leaving it as red as real, fresh blood alike. He gently spun around the water inside; made sure the tablets had been dissolved completely within, before taking gulps of it.
He drank it without much effort and still with grace and fluid movements, drained it off in a minute. Jamie stopped his feast for a moment just to admire his feature, ever so slightly, and hastily resumed his activity when he noticed that Opal’s eyes went back to him. The silver vampire smirked meaningfully before tossed the now empty bottle to the trash bin.
“So…” he mused after Jamie finished his whole meal, including emptying his soda. “I assume we have to do some conversations now.”
Jamie watched as he moved from the chair to sit on the corner of the bed, not so far from him. The silver vampire looked right on his eyes; silvery-mixed hues orbs met chocolate-doe ones. They locked eyes for some moments before Opal blinked and that was successfully cut off the trance gaze Jamie was giving into.
“You or me first to ask?” he offered, his voice was light and somewhat playfully. When Jamie didn’t give any answer, he chirped again, “Okay, I take your silence as you don’t mean if I went first.”
Jamie slowly nodded and shifted his position on the bed as if he was preparing himself for something bizarre to come. Opal smirked seeing the boy’s anticipation.
“Don’t be too tense. I just want to chat with you, not interrogating you.” Another slow nod.
“Today is June 15th, your birthday, you know?” he watched as Jamie gaped and raised his brows in genuine surprise. Humans and their rich yet impulsive expressions…
“You have been out for almost two days and one night full since I kidnapped you from your home. Well, yesterday night you awoke, ever so slightly, but I guess that wasn’t counted.” He paused for a moment. “Can you recall the past incident? When I was about to kidnap you?”
Jamie widened his eyes in fear and anxiety, hastily nodded and visibly trembled now. He shifted backward, curled his body so his legs folded in front of his chest, his arms tightly wrapped around them. The sheet and blanket went abandoned in his ankles.
Opal tilted his head in somehow mocking pose and spoke softly, “Now, now, don’t be afraid. I won’t harm you…” he chuckled and devilishly added, “…yet.”
Jamie quivered under his intent gaze. He involuntarily let out a whimper and tightened his ball of body. “Please…” he managed to mumble the words, “…don’t hurt me…”
The silver vampire smiled widely and stretched his right arm, reaching for the boy and with quick movement; he had had Jamie on his lap. He embraced him in tight hug, ignoring his quivering and whining of fear, and mused with his usually melodic voice, “I will not harm you …yet, indirectly. Actually I want to harm you through that young vampire.”
“Wha—what did you say?!”
“I plan to kill him, exactly.”
Jamie looked up to him with shocked expression.
“But now, as we chat with each other, he probably suffers inside his own mind, I suppose.”
“What did you do to him…?!”
“I gave him a mind breaking attack.”
He saw a questioning look amongst shock and sad expressions on the boy’s face and laughed. “Well, my specialty is mind attack. Sending mental attacks to my chosen opponents and torturing them, eventually killing them inside. Even though I can do other psychic attacks, like psychokinetic or telekinetic.
Those mental or mind attacks are including mind controlling, mind breaking and, even so far, puppetting. That’s my favorite one, you know.
Puppetting is different from ordinary mind control. While mind control only let you control your opponents’ minds in short periods and not all of their limbs are under your control, puppetting is the one opposite than that. As long as you don’t cut the ‘strings’ which let you take control over your opponents’ bodies and minds totally, you have them dance on your palms. Like puppets.” He grinned maniacally, much to Jamie’s further fear.
Opal leaned in and kissed the human boy’s forehead; he felt the boy flinched and moved restlessly under his arms. He smiled ear-to-ear when an idea suddenly popped in his mind.
“Hey, how about I give you a birthday present? Today is your birthday after all.”
Without warning, his right hand snaked down Jamie’s back, sending shivers down his spine; while his left arm stayed to hold the boy still. Jamie’s eyes widened in sudden fear and he started to violently push the silver vampire away. Opal just chuckled.
“Now, now, be a good boy and stay still.” His hand found his way to Jamie’s pants and slipped through his waistband and boxer, grasping his butt. Jamie attempted to scream loudly, but his scream was muffled by cold lips.
OH GOD!! Jamie thought frantically. HE TOUCHES ME! HE KISSES ME!
He felt his tears threatening to burst out, and when his lips were released, he tried to scream again. But before he had a chance to do it, Opal had turned his body around so Jamie’s back was pressed against his chest, while still on his lap. He held the boy tightly with one hand, while the other resumed to ghost-touch and sometimes grope his hostage’s body. He did it while murmuring some melodic song with vampiric language, transfixed his victim.
Jamie, while feeling his mind transfixed hearing his soft murmur ringing inside his head like some kind of magic mantras, tried so hard to struggle and scream for help, but his efforts were futile as the grip on his body was so tight he hardly breathed and the same hand was covering his mouth, muffling every sound he made. Jamie gasped when he felt Opal touched his lower parts of his body, specifically his private part. He cried now, his tears running down his cheek as he whimpered and pleaded his holder to stop the assault. But Opal just ignored him.
“Mm hmm, you’re just a kid. But you’re quite good looking, for human… give me another five years, maybe I will be more than willing to take you.” He chortled innocently. Jamie’s movement became more and more restlessly, almost frantically, hearing the word ‘take’.
Oh, he knew the meaning of that word, even vaguely, being now twelve years old kid. He had heard Austin said the same word to the girl he was seducing at. He unintentionally heard it when he and Steve accidentally stumbled on Austin and his girlfriend when they were about to make out in Austin’s room back then. Austin was Steve’s seventy-years-old big brother; Steve was eventually his best friend at school.
After Austin, who was angry beyond belief at the ‘interruption’, kicked them out the house, he asked about the meaning of Austin’s ‘words’ to Steve, who was unfortunately matured to the level he had known everything forbidden at their ages thanks to dozens of porn magazines he stole from his big bro’s closet, and the Rasta haired black boy only grinned mischievously and started to briefly tell him everything concerning the “S” word he eventually regretted to hear at that time.
Opal continued to touch, rub, and stroke the private part of Jamie’s body until he felt the boy stilled and his ‘thing’ tensed under his fingers. He smirked, satisfied when he could feel the slimy wetness on his hands as Jamie’s ‘thing’ spurted out his seed. He pulled his hand and showed his slick fingers in front of Jamie’s face which was sweaty and flushed. Jamie, now panted, cringed at the sight and still sobbed madly, he inwardly cursed his body for betraying his mind.
“Look what you’ve done. You made a mess on my hand. I bet this is your first time, eh?” the silver vampire chuckled evilly while bringing his hand to his mouth and licked off Jamie’s seed. The human boy felt the urge to throw up, but he consciously held it; he didn’t want to upset his molester further which possibly made him to do something he surely would be loathsome of.
More to Jamie’s joy and relief, Opal released him and told him to go to the bathroom to tidy himself. He quickly and practically ran into it and closed the door; double locked it as if it could keep him from the pervert vampire forever. He could hear Opal chuckling in amusement, but he didn’t care and hastily ran the shower to the maximum flow. He stripped off his clothes and quickly stood below the shower.
His urge to throw up came back and, unable to hold back anymore, he vomited on the shower’s tub, right to the shower’s water drainage. He didn’t care his vomit will surely mess the hole up; all he wanted to do now was emptying his stomach to the zero. He would be hungry again some times later, very, very hungry.
He cleared his stomach after some minutes which felt like hours, and now panted while holding to the wall. He started to sob again, letting the warm water pouring down on his body, cleaning his grease and previous ‘mess’. Noticing the soap on the basin, he grasped it and he began to rub his body, somehow vigorously on some specific parts. His crying grew more and more audible, until he howled in disgust and anger remembering his sexual encounter with the silver vampire.
He feared him; he loathed him; he hated him. Oh, God, what he wanted most right now was to unite again with his parents and Scarlet and the other cops guarding him and his family; he had considered them as family as well. But, now, right now… he was stuck with a sick-minded, insane, pervert, molesting vampire who was terribly charming and angelic in form.
“…Scarlet…” he hiccupped, remembering Opal’s words that he now was suffered from his mind attack. He simply hoped that his vampire best friend was okay right now. And he hoped that he will be saved, as soon as possible. He really, really didn’t want to stay with that silver vampire bastard anymore. Jamie cried and cried, mourned over his current predicament…
Outside the bathroom, an evil chuckling could be heard; it was purposely let out by its owner to mock at the boy’s miserable crying…

Richard Callahan paced back and forth inside his office within the casino. His expressions were mixed of anxiety, anger, confusion…
It had been two days since the assault on Ainsworths’ house. He had sent his best commander on field, Kenneth Randall, and twenty men in that attack, alongside that creepy angelic vampire. Although he didn’t trust Opal, he knew very well how strong he was. Added by his companionship, Callahan believed that his army was invincible. He at least expected the mission be succeed, not caring how many men he would have been lost during the trial. But now, his aim was nullified.
The Ainsworths were not dead yet, his men had been slaughtered up until the core, save his unworthy commander himself and two more fool men in charge, just to be arrested in police’s custody. Callahan knew his position was cornered. He had no more allies to be relied at. Even that stupid Jameson. From the beginning, that silly ass was useless, he thought grumpily.
The sound of his telephone ringing successfully made him jump. He exhaled exaggeratedly before picked up the speaker and answered, “Hello?”
[Your humbly retainer’s here, Mr. Callahan.] His voice was as smooth as he wasn’t on phone; Callahan quickly recognized the owner of that melodically tone.
“O—Opal??” he stammered out of habit. God, he really feared this creature.
[Why are you so nervous about, Mr. Callahan? You’re stuttering.] His chuckle sounded mockingly.
“I—I am not nervous!” he snapped, failing miserably to be sounded tough.
[I see…] Another chuckle.
“Quit of those chit chat! I’ve heard about the mission! You failed me! Miserably! They’re still alive! And still in one piece! All you’ve got just that child! And you even didn’t kill him! How do you suppose to responsible for that?!” he already got hot blood on his head.
[Why so hot headed about? I wasn’t failed …ever. And as you have known, I’m not working for you, human.] His voice went icy.
“But—you said—you—”
[I didn’t say that I would work FOR you; I said I would work ALONGSIDE you. I don’t have any responsibility toward you. I have my own objective and THAT absolutely doesn’t concern your predicament.]
“Why—you—son-of-a-bi—” he trembled both in rage and sudden desperate. “I swear I will ki—”
[Kill me? Nah that WAS funny. You can’t kill me; you don’t have any guts or power to do that. You’re just pathetic lowly being, Callahan; admit that.]
“!!!” the casino boss lost his words.
[But don’t worry; I will fulfill your wish. You want them die? Fine, I will give their heads on the silver plates for you. But I suppose, it will be only proven worthy when you’re still alive to accept that…]
“What—what do you mean??!!” Callahan suddenly felt a stabbing fear within his person. He didn’t like the last word Opal had just said.
[Oops, I have to go. Until next time, Mr. Callahan.]
The phone was dismissed.
Richard Callahan really, truly, visibly trembled now. He really, absolutely didn’t like the silver vampire’s last remark.
…when you’re still alive to accept that…
He suddenly shuddered out of fear.

Opal is sooooo perveeeeerrrttt! Okay, lemme explain. He is a bisex; he can sleep with either genders, but usually he prefers men, 'cause he thinks that womens are noisy and chatty, he doesn't like it. Yes he is a chatterbox, but he is also easy to get pissed when he hears someone other than him talks much ^^
He has sicken-crush for Vermillion when he's still alive; well you can guess it from earlier chapter...
