Ari walked into a room a box in her hand, “And what are you doing up?”

Aiden eep’ed and turned around, “Ari, hi……um…”

“Bed…” he started to say something, “No you in bed now! You almost lost your life and I’m not going to go through it anymore.”

“But…”

“No you’re all way protecting us, as the older one in this group I’m in charge of you. Now in the bed or so help me I’ll tie you to it.” Aiden pouted and sat on the edge of the bed.

“I can’t just sit here and wait.”

“Luka is fine, Dryden is with him, and his twin now has a body of his own.” She opened the box and pulled out some clean bandages, “Oh yeah and the thing covering your wound is Luka’s last shirt.” Aiden glanced down at the make shift bandage. “So I think you should thank him.” She stopped and growled, “The idiot is out there without a shirt on again.”

Aiden snickered and he stopped when Ari glared at him. “Let him be if he catches a cold then it’s his fault.”

Sighing she glanced at the window, “Hey is that snow!?”

Standing up Aiden walked over and looked out the window, “Holy shit it is!”

Placing the bandages in his hands, she walked towards the door, “Wrap your wound I’m going to get something hot on the stove.” Ari opened the door and closed it. Sighing he glanced back at the window and smiled.

“Idiot.”

Ari worked at the stove as Darian walked in, “What are you making?”

“Something warm for Luka.”

“They should be back soon right?”

“Let’s hope.”

Dryden and Troy hid behind a tree listening to the two fighting. They looked at each other, just like before. “Some welcome home party isn’t it.”

“Yeah.”

“We should help her.”

“Yeah.” Dryden stood up and ran out from behind the tree, Troy stood a few feet behind. The two stopped and looked at him. Adelle looked at Dryden and Troy, then at Daray. The man raised his hands up and she ran at the two. It happened all too fast there was a flash of light and then it cleared.

When Dryden opened his eyes he could see Troy dragging him, he could feel something trailing down the side of his head. “Fuck why is it I’m the one who gets stuck with dragging yer ass.” Dryden let his eyes search around. The area was on fire and spreading fast.

“Troy!”

“Luka what are you doing here?”

“You two need to get away from here now!”

When his eyes found her he sat up, “Mom!” She stood with her back to them; blood was dripping down one arm. Her back was bleeding heavily. Adelle glanced back and smiled at the two.

“Go home.” Adelle yelled back.

Then she ran further into the forest, “No!” Dryden climbed to his feet but stumbled, Troy grabbed him and hooked his arms under his and around behind his neck. “Mother!!”

“The forest is burning. This fire can hurt us.”

“What!?”

“Dragon Fire. Now grab his feet.” Luka caught them as he kicked out.

“Let me go I gotta stop her.” There was an explosion and they all stopped and looked back. Dryden went limp and Troy let his grip loosen. Jerking out of their hold he landed on his feet and ran. Clearing the burning tree line he felt himself being pulled back and turned around. Next thing he found himself over Luka’s shoulder and when he turned to run away he saw it.

A dragon stood over a lifeless body, “Let’s go.”

This snapped Dryden back to his senses, “No let me go! She can’t be dead. Mother isn’t dead!!” He struggled against Luka’s hold, “Mother!!” Troy covered his ears as Dryden started screaming at her to get back up. Then he gave soft cry, “mommy…”

Luka closed his eyes and took a deep breath, “We should move faster, he might come after us next.”

Troy nodded uncovering his ears as he quickly followed them. ‘Mom why?’

Just then snow started to fall around them. “Is that snow?”

“Yeah it is.” Troy lifted his head up and smiled, “Mom loved the snow. Burning cold.”

“It’s early.”

The door open, Luka walked in with Dryden over his shoulder, “Where’s mother?” Zachariah was standing now, as Troy walked in and looked at them all.

“Let me down, now!” Luka jostled Dryden and the small teen punched him in the back.

Luka shook his head and placed Dryden on the ground. He found himself on the ground and then there was a loud slam. “Dryden!” Troy ran after Dryden. “Dryden, get back here!”

Aiden walked over and dropped something next to his head, “So?”

“She’s dead.” It felt like the whole room got colder. He reached up and grabbed the item, it was a new shirt. “This is yours.”

Just then the door opened again and three people walked in, “Darian you’re all right!” An older man latched on the Darian and he smiled. He stood taller than Darian with dark blue hair that was always a mess and eyes that were a crystal blue. “I heard that they got a hold of you.”

“I’m all right Spike. How is Leora?”

He saw the small girl in her father’s arms. She was only six years old with long dark blue hair and dark green eyes. A single blue mark was across her nose. She reached out to him and he picked her up. “Your little brother is still scared,” Darian looked over to see a small child looking at him. His white hair was short and stuck out at odd angles and he had pale green eyes. Two red marks stretched over his nose. “He wants Adelle.” He looked over and saw Luka, “And why is there a dead body on the floor?”

Aiden spoke up, “That’s Luka, I’m Aiden and Ari is over at the stove.” She waved at him when he looked at her. He kicked Luka, “Stop playing dead your scaring the kids.”

Luka sat up, “Kids… where?” He looked over to see a small eleven year old run pass him to Spike and hide behind him. “I’m sorry.”

Troy walked out and sighed, “Dryden won’t open the door.”

“You’re supposed to be dead!” Spike hollered and pointed at Troy.

“Yes I came back to haunt you from beyond the grave.” Spike hid behind Darian and hissed at him.

“Troy, stop scaring Spike and go find away to get Dryden out of there.”

Spike perked up, “Dryden is here.”

“Yeah locked himself behind a door.”

“Where?”

“Bathro…” he rushed passed him.

They all peeked down the hall and saw Spike looking at the door. Darian knew what he was going to do, “Spike don’t you dare…” there was a loud crack and the door slammed open. “Damn it now I’m going to have to fix the door.” Soon Spike was walking towards them carrying Dryden.

Luka sat at the table staring at the small child. “Let me go ya stupid over grown house cat!” Glancing over he found the man from earlier carrying Dryden by the back of his shirt. “I said let me go!”

Luka stood up, “Hey what…”Zachariah and Darian grabbed him just as Spike turned and glared at him. All three of them slowly backed up.

Darian sighed when Spike turned back to Dryden. “Don’t worry he won’t hurt him.”

“Care to tell me why you’re in the bathroom.”

“None of yer business.” Dryden yelped when he was flipped upside down by Spike.

“You hide in the bathroom only to hide from something. So what is it?” Dryden saw a little girl laughing at him.

“Why me?” Luka walked up and tipped his head upside down, “I’m still mad at you go away.” Spike looked at Luka.

“You know that childish act is not working for you.”

“Fuck you.”

“Dryden there’s kids in the room.” Darian said from where he was now sitting. “I don’t want her picking up bad habits before she’s ten.”

Ari walked over to Luka, “Luka go get on something warmer and I’m making some soup for you.” He straightened his back, “Aiden can you show him where our bags are at.” Aiden nodded and walked out of the room, Luka followed him only to stop.

“Just because she’s dead doesn’t mean she’s gone.”

Dryden hit the floor and cried out. “Oi Spike, careful Dryden hit his head.” When he sat up that was when everyone saw the dried blood in his hair.

“Let me see yer head.” He reached out to place his hand on Dryden’s head, only to have him smack it away.

“I’m fine. I cleaned it up in the bathroom.” He stood up, “Is my room still there?”

“Yeah.” He walked out of the main room and down a hallway. Once at the end he looked up and saw the string. Grabbing it he pulled down on it and a step ladder came out, Dryden smiled and ran his hand over the marks on the ladder like steps. A name was carved into the wood.

He climbed up pushing a trap door open. It fell open with a thud. “Damn it smells weird.” He pushed open the windows and let the cold air rush in. Dryden placed his hand on the bed and smiled, “How many time did you clean my room?”

“Once a week.”

He turned around to find Zachariah sitting on the top step. “She and all of us took out all of the small stuff. We replaced it with things that you would need when you got back.” He glanced at the bed, “Though the bed was a different matter all together.” He stood up and started to head down the steps, “We’re glad your back,” he sighed; “Now I need to tell Coty about mother. Maybe find a wife, dunno what to do.”

“Zachariah?” He looked back at Dryden to see him holding a stuffed toy, “Ya guys didn’t get rid of it.” The toy was in the shape of a dragon, it was a light blue with metallic colored wings.

“Nope. I remember when you would carry that thing around with you everywhere.” Just then a small dragon shot passed Zachariah and right into Dryden’s arms.

“Violet.” She flew out of his arms and onto his bed. The small dragon circled and curled up to sleep. He laughed and turned to find Zachariah gone. Walking over he pushed the trap door closed, only to have Topaz shoot into the room and a hand stop it.

It pushed open, “Dryden can I talk to you?”

“No!” He dropped on the door. There was a thud and a very fluent curse.

“Dryden please.”

“Go away Luka!”

“Then will you listen?”

“No!”

Luka sighed and with one good pushed the door opened. Dryden lay on the ground, he glared at Luka. “I’m not leaving till you listen.” He pushed the door closed and sat on it. “I can be just as stubborn.”

Dryden flipped over and got in his face, “You don’t know what I’m going through.”

It grew quiet, Luka’s face was blank and that really scared Dryden. Luka raised his hand up and placed it on Dryden’s shoulder. He jumped a little and Luka sighed, he pulled him closer. “I lost my mother when I was eight.” He pushed him away and standing up he pulled the door open, “I better go and eat something warm before Ari yells at me.” He walked down and stopped, looking up at Dryden he smiled, “It’s okay to cry.” Dryden watched as he walked out of view. Standing up on shaky feet he walked over to his bed and fell onto it, face first. That was just it he didn’t want to cry. But the tears came anyways.

Luka stopped and leaned against the wall. He let his mind shut down as he stared at the floor. Something collided with his head, “What the hell?”

Aiden stood there with a ladle in his hand, his arms were crossed and he was glaring at him. “Get your ass back in there and comfort him.”

“If he won’t take it I’m not going to force him.” Aiden smacked him with the ladle again. “Damn it.”

“Get back in there.”

“I’m going to eat and then I’ll check on him.” Luka caught the ladle this time, “Later.” He walked passed him and Aiden grumbled as he followed after him. Once they were in the main room which had a kitchen, living room, and dining room all together. Luka finally glanced around and smiled. It was like a cabin. He sighed, walked over to the table and sat down.

A few hours later Dryden walked down the hall and looked into the main room, he had taking off his armor and fighting clothes. Now he was dressed in a pair of loose shorts and a small black sleeveless shirt, here he can show off his marks. He rubbed at his eye and yawned, he didn’t want to fall asleep but for some reason he was really sleepy.

Darian was sitting next to Spike with Leora in his lap. The small boy from earlier, Coty, was eating already. Zachariah was sitting in a chair whittling something; Aiden had walked up to Ari who was cooking at the stove. When he looked up he saw Troy sitting up in the rafters leaned back against the beams. Crimson and Blue Fire chased each other around the room. Looking around again he found Luka sitting at the end of the table pushing his food around in the bowl. Looks like he missed lunch and dinner, maybe there was something good left over.

Coty looked up and saw Dryden, standing up he walked over to Ari. Tugging on her long sleeve shirt, she looked down at him. He pointed at Dryden and she smiled. After getting the bowl from her he walked over to Dryden and held it out to him. Smiling, he said happily, “Welcome home brother.” Dryden dropped to his knees and taking the bowl from his hands, he hugged him with his free arm.

“Thanks.” Dryden stood up and holding onto his hand, he walked over to Luka. “You’re supposed to eat it not play with it.”

Luka glanced up and smiled, “Are you talking about the food or something else?”

“Watch it or someone is sleeping with Demi tonight.” Dryden sat down and Coty sat next to him. Luka watched as the two sat talking; soon Troy joined them sitting on the other side of Coty.

He gave a soft laugh and stood up. Luka walked over to Ari and Aiden with a half finished bowl, “Hey.”

They both turned to him, “What is it?” Aiden asked.

“When does father want us home?”

“Soon.” Aiden said. Ari smiled and patted him on the shoulder.

“Don’t worry you can come and visit.”

Luka glanced down at the bowl, “It’s just I have a bad feeling about this.”

“What do you mean?” He had Aiden’s full attention, the last time Luka had a bad feeling it ended up with Luka suffering.

“Like something bad is going to happen. I had this feel right before mother died; it’s been bugging me since we left Razz’s.”

“Don’t worry Luka. What ever happens we’ll be there for you.” Ari said and she hugged him. “Besides Prince Luka needs to get home.”

He growled at her, “Ever since she came over you’ve been calling me that.” She snickered, Aiden rolled his eyes. He noticed that Luka still had his marks showing.

“Oh I just remembered.” He pulled out Luka’s necklace and held it out, “Here I found it in our bags. I think Troy must have found it.”

“Thanks.” He sat the bowl down and took it from him. “I wounded where it went.” Placing it around his neck his marks disappeared.

Just then Dryden jumped onto his back and wrapped his arms around his shoulders. “Hi ya two!” He grinned, “Whatch ya talking about?”

“Not much why?”

“Just wanted to tell ya thanks.” Luka smiled when Dryden hugged him. Dryden yawned and smiled as he held onto Luka. He glanced at the bowl and looked at Luka, “You going to finish that?”

“No.” Letting go he dropped to his feet and picked the bowl up.

“Aiden I like this soup its good.”

“Thank you.” Ari said and Aiden snickered at Dryden’s shocked face.

“Sorry.”

“It’s ok.” Dryden quickly downed the rest of it and placed the bowl down.

“Well I’m going outside.” Darian grabbed his arm before he ran out the door. “What is it?”

He looked at the silver band and motioned for him to follow. “Troy, come here!” The three walked into their mother’s room and Darian open a draw. “These are now yers.” He pulled out a box and opened it. A silver and gold band sat inside. “Give me yer right arm Troy.” He pushed the golden band up till it was past the elbow and on the upper arm. Turning to Dryden he held on to the silver band. “Come on Dryden.” Dryden lifted his arm and Darian saw the mark, “Don’t worry about that.” He pushed the band up his arm till it rested over the mark.

“But…”

“That mark means nothing here. The band does, so don’t worry.” Dryden nodded and he ruffled both of their head. Both of them smacked his hands away. Dryden shook his head causing him to get light headed. “Dryden, are you ok?”

“Yeah dizzy.”

“It must be from today, why don’t you go and lay down. It’s going to be dark in an hour anyways.”

“No I’m fine, see, I’m alright.” He turned and walked out of the room towards the door. Dryden opened it and walked out.

“Okay way is Dryden acting the way he is?” Aiden said from where he stood.

“It’s the way he takes some things.” Zachariah said from his seat. Luka sighed and shook his head. “He did it as a kid a lot,” Zachariah glanced at the door, “He sure did bounce back into the family role. It’s like he never left.”

Darian walked up to Luka, “Dryden just got dizzy, can you go hang with him make sure he doesn’t pass out on the street.”

“Why would he get dizzy?” Ari asked him.

“Lack of energy, the stress, and now he’s trying to act like nothing’s wrong.”

“I’ll keep an eye on him.” Luka walked up to the door.

“Luka get a coat on!” He sighed and making a detour he walked into the hallway to come back wearing a coat. This time he walked out and looked at the village.

Snow was everywhere now, “Wow.” He saw the footprints and followed them till he saw Dryden setting on a log in the forest. “Dryden.”

He turned and looked at Luka. “Hey.” He sat down next to him, “Why are ya out here?”

“Seeing if you’re really okay.” Dryden lowered his head and rubbed at his eyes, “Dryden?”

“She really is gone, isn’t she?” Luka placed his hand on his head and pulled him closer. Dryden let his head rest against his shoulder. Placing his hand on Dryden’s shoulder, he gave it a slight squeeze and smiled.

“She’s not gone unless you want her to be.” Dryden held onto Luka’s hand. Compared to normal his hands were cold.

“Luka are you cold?”

“Maybe.”

“Take your arms out of your jacket.” He watched as Dryden stood up, “Arms out of jacket.” He sighed and pulled them out; Dryden grabbed his jacket and draped it over his shoulder. Sitting down he wrapped it around both of them and tipping his head back he smiled. “Warmer?”

“Yeah but my hands are numb.”

Holding the jacket closed with one hand, he pushed his shirt up some and moved one hand onto the exposed skin. “Now do the same with the other hand.” Luka rested his chin on his head and smiled, as his other hand rested on his hip. “How about now?”

“Hmm there getting warmer.” Dryden shivered when Luka lightly brushed his hand over his skin. Luka moved his head to the side and nuzzled the back of Dryden’s ear. “I love you.” He mumbled.

Dryden smiled and leaned back further, “Love you, too.”

**
It was dark; every now and then a light would flicker on and off. A child walked down the hall, his hand trialed along the wall. This small child was singing as he walked, a song he couldn’t hear.

“What are you saying?”

The child turned and looked back, a small whisper, “Help us…” Something black came rushing up the hall, the child ran and then…

**

Luka sat up as water splashed him in the face.

Dryden stood there with an empty cup in his hand. “Luka, are ya awake now?”

“The kid… he was…”

“Luka maybe you should stay in bed.” Ari said as she looked at him from where she was at. Aiden was watching him; Luka sighed and shook his head.

“I’m fine, it was just a dream.” If it was just that then why was he shaking?

“Then why are you shaking?” Both Aiden and Dryden asked at the same time.

“Cold?”

Ari walked up with something in her hand. “Open.”

“I’m not sick.”

“The last time you had a nightmare, you had a fever and you were flat on your back for a week.” He grumbled as he held his hand out and she placed a digital thermometer in his hands. He placed it in his mouth and glared at her. “Under the tongue.” Luka shifted it and sat with his arms crossed. Three minutes passed and it beeped. Snatching it from his mouth before he could remove, she looked at it. “A hundred and one degrees, Dryden I think you should keep away from him for awhile.”

“I’m going to be late home anyways, the elders want to met and talk again.”

“You’ve been over there for most of this week.” Luka said. Dryden sighed and ran a hand through his hair, he looked tired. “Dryden?” That’s right for the past week he had been stuck in a room full of old people.

Troy walked up the stairs, “Dryden we need to go.”

“I’m coming.” He turned to Luka, “Stay in bed.”

“You’re telling me to stay in bed.” Dryden gave him a warning look, “Fine.” He followed Troy out of the room and he sighed. Troy patted him on the back.

“This is the last one, today is when they make their decision.”

“Yeah I know.” He was afraid of what they might say.

Troy jumped when Dryden slammed his hands on the table in front of him; the small teen was standing now. “You can’t do that!” A group of older people sat at a half circle table.

“We have the power to do so.” A man said. His hair was pulled back into a long neat tail at the nape of his neck, it was a grayish white. Pale red eyes were locked with his amethyst ones.

“Thelred the young boy does have a point.” A young woman spoke up peacefully. She was the only woman there and she had pixy cut hair that was a light brown. Even though she wasn’t smiling her brown eyes were.

Thelred glanced at her, “And how is that so Ramona?”

“Some of us have lovers that were outsiders at one time.”

Another man spoke up, “Perhaps there was a way that all the ones with outsiders as lovers can stay in one spot till we find a place that’s safe and hidden from Daray.” He was the youngest one there, with bright blonde hair and bright blue eyes. “My mother is a Shifter and I would like to keep in touch with her while looking for a place to stay.”

“What are you getting at Rhett?” Thelred asked.

“A place that is safe and hidden. So that the workers, children, the elderly, and the outsiders can all stay at.” Dryden sighed, he didn’t want this.

Ramona looked over to two other men, “Harold, Reynaldo, what do you to think?”

“Safety is the highest priority.” Reynaldo said. He had short pepper colored bed head hair with a matching beard and dull black eyes.

Harold nodded in agreement; he looked at Dryden with sad hazel eyes. His white wavy hair stopped at his chin. “I’m sorry, but safety comes first.”

Troy stood up, “We still need to convince the other two sister villages, but there may be away.”

Thelred leaned forward, “What are you planning?”

“Dryden a place that even father can’t find, do you know of a place?” Troy was smiling and Dryden smirked.

“Give me three days tops.” Dryden said. “I might know of a place.” Then he turned and rushed out of the room.

Dryden ran passed Darian, “Whoa, Dryden where’s the fire?”

Dryden was hopping on the spot. “Can’t talk busy need to see Luka about something.” Then he turned and ran towards their home. He rushed up the wooden stairs and pushed the door open. “Luka!!”

Luka turned in his seat and watched as Dryden ran passed him, only to skid to a stop. He turned and with hands on his hips he growled at him. “Um… hi Dryden.”

“Why the hell are ya not in bed?”

“I’m hungry but Ari said I had to have a lot of fluids.” He took a sip of the cool liquid he had in a cup, “And then Spike came in and said to drink this stuff. I should feel well by tomorrow. He a cool guy.”

Dryden sighed and walked over to the table, he sat down. Luka glanced at him and took another bigger drink this time. “I need to ask yer father a favor.”

Luka placed the cup down and looked at him, “What kind of a favor?”

“How hidden is yer home?”

Luka smirked and then he grinned.
^^^^^^^

“I can’t believe it worked.” He said as he walked out with Troy. “Now all we have to do is get the other villages.”

Troy laughed and looked at the snowy landscape. “You my brother are good at getting people to listen. When you want to that is.” Dryden smiled and yawned. “What yer tired?”

“I pulled an all nighters last night waiting for the reply.” Troy shook his head and looked forward.

“Let’s just get home I’m starved.” He heard a crunch of snow and he turned around. Dryden was face first in the snow. “Dryden!” He rushed over and knelt down, he found him smiling. “What’s so funny?”

“I’m so tired my legs feel like rubber.” Troy picked up some snow and threw it at his face.

“Idiot you scared me.”

Luka sat at the table; he kept tapping the fork on the table top. “Luka put the damn fork down or I’ll put it through your hand.” Aiden was sitting across from him trying to finish writing a letter to his family.

“Sorry I’m nervous.” Just then the door open; Troy had Dryden on his back, “Dryden.”

“I’m okay Luka, just tired.”

“His legs gave out when we walked out of the meeting.” He sat Dryden down on the couch and stood up, “They’ve agreed to it.”

“We need you guys to lead those going with you to where you live.” Dryden said as he slowly pulled his boots off. He sighed as soon as his feet were free, he loved being barefooted but Darian threatened to sick Spike on him if he didn’t cooperate. So he pulled them on and walked out of the house. “The snow is getting thicker, so we need to get everyone ready by the end of the week.”

“The end of the week isn’t that a little fast.”

“Not for us.” Troy said with a grin. “I’m going to tell everyone the news.” The teen ran out the door back into the snow. Dryden smiled and slowly stood up. He walked over to Luka and kissed him.

“Are you going to be a part of that group?”

“I wish I was, but Troy and me need to go to the other villages and convince them it’s safer.” Luka frowned and Dryden sighed as he sat on his lap, “So Aiden can you send a message to Liam soon?”

Aiden looked up at him, “How soon is soon?”

“This soon.” Dryden stood up and pulled folded paper out of his back pocket.

“Okay.” He smiled and stood up, “Be right back.”

“Thanks Aiden.”

Once Aiden was gone Luka nuzzled Dryden’s ear. “How long will it take?”

“I dunno.” Dryden leaned back. “I’ll try to finish it quickly.” They sat like that in the quiet till there was a loud crash. “What the hell was that?”

“I don’t know but it sounded close.” Just then three people walked around the corner covered in dust and dirt. Ari was wiping her face off, as Darian pushed Coty to the bathroom. “What were you three doing?”

“Finding something that belonged to your mother.” Ari said as she skipped over, “Take a look.”

He opened the black box and looked inside, “No way! This is it!” the necklace was almost like the one Luka was wearing, only the stone was set in a white gold pendent and the stone was silver blue color. He closed the box and smiled, “I finally found it.”
^^^^^

Dryden stood looking at the people walking below him, “Are you sure about this?”

He looked at Troy, “With yer temper… ya’ll wouldn’t make it passed the first village.” He shifted and growled, “I fucking hate pants. Damn counsel.”

Troy laughed as Dryden swiped at his head. Demi shook his head as the two wrestled each other. “Will you two stop acting like children.” Dryden and Troy looked over to see Zachariah and Luka. He turned to Luka, “You have five minutes.”

Dryden stood up and walked over to Luka. “What is it?”

He grabbed his hand and placed something in it. “I kept forgetting to give it back.” Dryden looked down and found the silver anklet. He knelt down and wrapped it around his right ankle.

“There.” Luka smiled as Dryden stood up. Dryden reached up and pulled his head down, “I’m going to miss you.”

“Me too.” He kissed him and pulled back, “When you’re finished send a message.”

“I’ll make sure to.” Dryden turned and walked away, only to stop, “Oh yeah,” he held his green stone necklace up, “you missing something?” Luka patted his pockets and laughed. “This why we can find each other. Besides your wearing that other one.”

“Dryden!” The small teen waved and ran up to Demi.

Luka stood and watched as the group of people disappeared. Aiden walked up to him and tipped his head to the side, “So, how long do you think it will take?”

“I don’t know.”

“Come on we need to do our part.” Luka nodded and followed after Aiden.

Ari was looking at him, “Will you be all right Luka?”

“I’m fine.” He walked over to a group of people, in a loud voice he said, “I don’t want to lose any of you.” Aiden was already mapping out the path and Ari was getting ready just in case there was a fight. “So don’t stray from the group and keep your eyes on me at all times. Well let’s go, I want to get home before the blizzard hits.” The group of people disappeared into the forest just as a howl was heard echoing.

A village stood deserted and empty. It was quiet as the snow fell and then a giant dragon appeared. In one second it was all gone. What once was a village was now an empty clearing, the snow started to fall faster hiding any traces of anything living there. Another howl was heard followed by another and another, till it was a chorus of howls.

Four years later.

A small tree in the middle of the clearing stood alone. As the wind picked up something could be seen swinging on a branch. A silver cross hung from the branch on the back of the cross was a name. A man walked up to the tree and stared at it. Carved into it was one phrase, ‘Find me.’ A knife slammed into the bark next to it. The fight had only just begun.

Okay part one is done. I’m starting on part two as soon as I pack up my room. Give me 1-2 weeks to finish my room and work on the next chapter. Don’t worry I’m not going to leave it like this. Well I know some people don’t like these types of endings, but it is necessary for the plot of the story. It will all make sense in the end. A couple of my friends might shoot me because of this ending. Well review, don’t review, do whatever you want. I’ll see you in a couple of weeks.
