Chapter 10

THE INTERVIEW

'Silent Relationship', the first online-posting attempt of the authoress Nekoii Hiwatari. SR began some years ago as a caution-thrown-at-the-type of story post after Hiwatari grew tired of looking at her empty author's profile page.

Wanting to break out of the 'hit'er / reviewer' label she thought herself under, Hiwatari released onto the cyber waves, some notepad-scribbled-short-thing that has been sitting in her folders for some time. This was how Silent Relationship was born. Part spontaneity, part surrender. Knowing she could never hold a candle to the renown authors of the AdultFanfiction world, Hiwatari decided to just put it out and see what happens.

Over the years, Moku and Kaito – the stars of SR - have grown on her as much as the few readers who has held on with Hiwatari's award-winning slowest-update-rate-ever updates. And as such, 'The Interview' has decided to ask Moku and Kaito a few selected questions.

Now, knowing how... verbal Moku is, 'The Interview' is forced to include typed expressions to make up for Moku's lack of words. Let's see how much 'The Interview' will be able to get out of these two.

 

 

Welcome, Moku and Kaito to 'The Interview', please, take a seat.

Kaito: …. right....

Moku: *plonks down quickly next to Kaito* … O__O … *grips chair cushions*

Kaito: So, why are we here again?

 

Okay! Moving on. Now, lately our dear couple have been getting some odd love from the people out there. Some say, it's because you're both idiots.

Kaito: Excuse me? (looks angry)

Moku: … O_O … *thinks: What have we gotten ourselves into...*

 

That wasn't the question. Anyway, we'll start with easy questions eh? “What's your favourite food?”

Kaito: Mostly foods that are convenient, burgers, sandwiches. Spicy food is really good too. Just add chilies or chili powder, or Tabasco sauce. Anything can become good.

Moku: Uhm... Japanese food...

 

“What about your favourite Boba tea flavour?”

Kaito: The original milk tea. Anything else is just okay, most of them are too sweet.

Moku: Uhm......... Green milk tea... or mint tea...?

 

So now, some the real questions... First one for Kaito. “Are you really the captain of your school's Aikido club?”

Kaito: I am... Because of my prior experience in Aikido, the former captain had selected me to be the next captain... aaand, no one had objected to it... So, I am the captain now. (looks unsure)

 

Okay thank you! Now, for Moku. “Are you Halitophobic?”

Moku: … … … o_o … … .. Uhm... … … Sorry?

Kaito: He's not. (stares pointedly)

 

Another one for Moku. “Dear Moku, some have wondered. Why did you not break up with Kaito earlier on?”

Kaito: (looks uncomfortable but glares still)

Moku: … O__O … uuhhm... ah, well.... *inhales* you see... uhm... (mumbled words that don't make sense)... yeah.

 

Alright... Kaito. “Let's talk about your feelings for Moku.”

Kaito: (stares)... Well... I do have feelings for Moku. And they're quite strong. (looks at Moku)

Moku: (adverts eyes, blushing)

Kaito: and that's all you're going to know. (stares back unhappily)

 

What about you Moku, “Let's talk about your feelings for Kaito.”

Moku: ... Uhmmmm... (gulps and looks down)... I also - (mumbled words that sound similar to the words mumbled earlier)...

Kaito: (glares)... (looks really unhappy in the angry way)

 

Okay next Question! Addressed to both Kaito and Moku. “When are the both of you finally going to have sex?”

Kaito: That's it. (get's up very angrily) Good bye.

Moku: Kaito? (gets pulled up and away)

 

And that's the end of 'The Interview', somehow, I don't think we managed to get much juicy details out of those two eh? Too bad, better hope in the chapters to come. So that's all for now dear readers, thank's for staying tune! The next (plot inclusive and higher word count) chapter of SR will be released soon, as soon as my beta hands it back to me...

A/N:

I made a bet with my beta, much earlier on, that when SR reached chapter 10, she'd write me a yu-gi-oh oneshot. *A* So since it was chapter 10 (rather momentous...?) I decided to prank her. By doing this. So that's why we have the interview!

I've read through the T.O.S and guidelines... and since it's an 'interview' of the two characters of this story, and I have written it much in magazine interview style, I hope it'll be okay and can remain here as a chapter. If it's not okay with the higher-ups, I'll take it down and put it in my LJ =(
