Part 10
“This is the way you repay me? After everything I have done for you, this is your thanks?” Gabriel crouched close to Antonio and whispered with repressed anger.
“What have you done for me? Nothing. You made me into this.” Antonio gasped, swallowing the blood that made it into his mouth. His face was almost unrecognizable. It was swollen and blood covered it entirely.
Gabriel stood up. Stalked back and forth in the small, dark room. His movements fluid, his face stoic. Antonio knew to be afraid. He crawled slowly towards the corner, like pray trying not to startle its predator into action. He told himself not to weep, he was too old for such useless displays. But a sob managed to leave his tightly shut lips, nevertheless, making Gabriel jerk towards his direction.
He smiled a chilling smile at Antonio then. He walked towards him and crouched down where the boy trembled.
“I forget sometimes…You’re just a child.” He mumbled. He reached to stroke Antonio’s soft cheek, the boy shuddered at the intention. How could this man, that he thought so beautiful and wonderful turn out to be such a monster? He cursed his own foolishness again. Why did he have to be so enticed by him? Why did he ever glance at his direction…”invited” him? He took a deep breath, knowing it wasn’t needed.
“Still doing such useless mortal things?” Gabriel chuckled. “After all these years? I will never understand you.”
Antonio looked him in the eyes then. Seeing gentleness, yet knowing the deception behind it. He narrowed his eyes. <
“You will not have her.” The gentle caress stopped. Gabriel’s eyes froze.
Antonio’s head hit the wall hard. He grabbed Antonio’s hair and slammed his head against the wall again.
“Who are you to tell me what I can and cannot have?” Gabrielle hissed in Antonio’s ear. “I have you, don’t I?” He smirked in victory.
“But you don’t have her, now do you?” Antonio reproached back. Gabrielle lost his smirk. He dropped Antonio’s from back onto the ground. He seethed in silent fury. Then calmed down. This little boy was no threat to him. He created him, after all. But his impudence was beginning to really annoy Gabriel. Why didn’t he just kill the little brat, he wondered again?
“Why have I not killed you already?” Gabriel spoke his thought out loud.
“Because I have stupid enough… to show her to you.” Antonio chocked out. Red tears spilling from his eyes.
“Right, right…” The words slowly faded as Gabriel walked out of the room and into the waiting darkness. Antonio finally relaxed. He slummed against the wall behind him and wondered again… why had he ever dreamt of her?

“Damn.” Anna mumbled. She kneeled down and began picking up the pieces of the broken glass. The soft wind outside rustled the leaves of the tree outside her window. It would knock against the window occasionally making Anna look up.
Anna gingerly took each broken piece into her hands. An old memory of her childhood surfaced. The broken glass and her bleeding. The rough tongue against her skin. The rough…no. That was not right. Where did that thought come from. And she remembered again.
Flashback****
“How could you let this happen.” Her father was shouting at her mother. That was odd, her father never shouted.
“I couldn’t say no. How could I say no?” Her mother rasped.
“All this time you let him near her! What if he decided to take her?! Answer me!” Domenico had his face close to Maria’s. Maria was cowering from the force of his voice.
“What if he just took her and never gave her back?” He asked once more, his voice sounding defeated. Maria gave a small sob.
“I don’t know.” She answered not looking at him. Domenico looked at her.
“Pack anything you think might be important.” Dom said with steel in his voice.
“What? What do you think to do.” Maria asked looking up at him with horror.
“We are leaving. He won’t have her. I won’t play his games anymore. No more of this.” He said. He turned around and saw Anna standing by the door. He approached her.
“Honey, we have to leave. I want you to go up and pack anything you think you might need. We’re leaving right away.”
“But…but. Christine…” She stuttered. “I need to bring her…”
“No no. I’m sorry Anna. But now we need to leave. Right now.” He said in earnest.
“Where are we going.” She cautiously stepped toward the staircase.
“It doesn’t matter right now. Just go pack.” He said pushing her to hurry.
Anna ran to her room. Got her suitcase out and started putting in some clothes. She turned toward her desk. On it stood an old book of fairy tales her father had given her, a picture of Christine and her smiling happily, and a black rose that she had found two years before outside her window, it still had not died. She picked them up carefully and placed them in with her clothes.
She carried her suitcase down the stairs, struggling only a little. When she reached the bottom she saw that both her mother and father were ready to leave. They piled into the car and drove. It was night and very dark. They lived outside of town surrounded my thick woods and the trees hid the stars and the moon.
Anna looked outside only seeing darkness and her reflection. Her father did not play music and no one said a word. Anna dropped her eyes against the seat behind her. Her eyes slowly began to close. The small flicker outside her window went unnoticed by her. Soon she was sleeping heavily, comforted by the gentle vibrations of the car.
When she awoke it was to whiteness. Her vision began to clear. She saw that it was a ceiling she was staring at. She moved her head and felt a sharp pain in her neck. She instantly stilled.
“You’re awake.” Christine was at her side. Hugging her tightly.
“I’m glad.” She whispered, pressing her face into Anna’s neck. Anna felt wetness.
“What is…what is going on?” She asked hoarsely. She inhaled sharply, wincing at the sour taste in her mouth.
“You’re in the hospital, you had an accident…” Christine’s voice lowered to a whisper at the end.
“An accident?” Anna blinked in confusion. What had happened. They were driving and she had fallen asleep, but then what…
“How are my parents?” Anna gasped, feeling panic. They had to be alright. She turned her head again, willing the pain away. She stared as Christine turned her head away. Why was she turning her head away?
“Christine?” Please don’t tell me what I don’t want to hear. Christine looked back at her, her eyes were wet.
Anna shut her eyes tightly. No, no, no, no, no…
*****
Anna was in her bed. The room was dark. A soft wind outside her window lulled her. She did not sleep, nor was she awake. The various pills they had given her for her pain, left her a dream. She was not there. She was not in this hospital.
He watched her carefully. He saw the bruises on her face and body. They made him angry. But it was not his fault. Her father should have obeyed him. He edged his way to her side. He raised an arm and then lowered it. He did not deserve to touch her. He had hurt her. He raised his arm again and laid it softy on her forehead. How could he resist though? Wanting her for so long and never being able to touch her, it was torture. He deserved this.
He smiled. Yes, he deserved this, deserved her. He lowered he head to hers and gently placed his mouth on hers. He kissed it several times. He moved to her eyelids and kissed those. He moved to her cheeks and kissed those. He went back to her lips, and again lowered his mouth to hers. He pressed down, but she did not respond. He pressed a little harder, but no response from her. He sighed against her lips. His tongue slithered out and touched her lips. He moved her upper lip into his mouth and began to suck. He probed her lips with his tongue, but he could not fully enter her because her teeth were in the way.
“Stop, she’s just a child.” A voice behind him whispered harshly. Gabriel stopped his assault on her and turned toward Antonio.
“Don’t tell me what to do boy.” He replied calmly.
“Please. Just…stop. She’s drugged. Do you have to do that now?” Gabriel straightened himself. Antonio could see the tension in his broad back. Gabriel turned his head towards him. His dark green eyes shone in the night and his sensual lips curved into a smile. A lock of black hair fell across his pale face. Antonio sucked in a breath. He was still amazed at Gabrielle’s beauty, after all these years, it still made him lose his breath. When they were in Rome, people would say that he was not a mortal, but the son of a god.
‘At least they had one part right about him.’ Antonio thought, a bitter smile forming on his lips. Gabriel turned fully towards him and Antonio saw the huge erection that was pressing against his trousers.
“You’re right. I should leave her to her rest. But what about me?” Gabriel asked slyly. He glanced down to his erection. “Why should I be left like this?” He looked up at Antonio.
Antonio swallowed. “I’m sure there are many who could help you with that.” He answered hoping that Gabriel would leave him alone.
“But I don’t want just anyone…” Gabriel said as he advanced toward Antonio. “I want something young,” he licked Antonio’s ear, “something supple.” He said and crushed his mouth to Antonio’s. Antonio struggled against Gabriel’s hold. He whimpered into his Gabriel’s mouth.
“You promised.” Antonio whispered desperately, still struggling.
Gabriel removed himself from him and looked down at him. He gave Antonio a scowl and walked back to Anna‘s bedside. He looked down at her. Her eyelids were twitching and her mouth was frowning, perhaps she was having nightmare, Gabrielle wondered. Of course, why wouldn’t she, her parents had just died. He smiled at the thought, he didn’t know why he found it so amusing, but something about the situation was ridiculously hilarious. He started to lower his head to hers, but Antonio’s voice stopped him.
“Please stop, please…fine. I’ll do it. Just leave her alone now.” Antonio’s voice was desperate and loathing. The loathing wasn’t directed towards Gabriel, it was for himself. Gabriel chuckled softly. He gave a final kiss and tender look to Anna, and moved towards Antonio. Gabriel grasped his face.
“I don’t know why you seem to be so against the idea. You love it. I hear you little gasps, and you pleads for more.” Gabriel’s cool breath wafted across Antonio’s face. “Why, why do you still refuse me then? Huh? Why?” Gabriel’s soft voice was casting a spell across Antonio, and he closed his eyes at the sensation that Gabriel was invoking in him.
He didn’t know. He knew everything that Gabriel was saying was the truth. He loved Anna, and Gabriel was a monster. No matter how beautiful his exterior, he was still a monster. Antonio sighed, there was no use thinking about it anymore.
“Lets go home.”
The room was empty again. Anna was left alone with her strange dreams and the sensation of someone’s lips and tongue on her.
****
Panting, groaning and the sound of flesh against flesh was heard throughout the room. The two occupants were engaged in a tender embrace. If someone were to look into the scene right now, they would gasp at the beauty of the two creatures together and the love that existed between them. A more observant person might have seen their clenched eyes and whispered words. Words, or should I say word, that was not heard by anyone but them. That one word that was constantly on their mind, that one word that they believed only belonged to them…
“Anna…”

English is not my first language. I believe I should have said that before, but anyways, I have some trouble with the small things, the order of words, that end up making no sense to a reader. So I’m really sorry about that. And I only read over my stories once before I post them, so…there’s a big chance that there going to be a hell of a lot of bad grammar < as made here. Sorry. I know now where I want to take this, I think. I always end up making some sort of adjustments while I write.
