The world moved so fast. The next time Nick became conscious, truly conscious of his surroundings, he was standing before a decorated altar with Vinny at his side. Dressed in a dark suit, while he was dressed in a crisp white one. Sal and Adrian had given him away in the place of his parents who probably wished him dead from their suburban haven.
So surreal. It was all so fast and final. The moment the words ‘I do’ spilled from his lips, Nick knew that his life and everything that he had ever known would be completely different. His heart sank.
It was just the beginning.
