Rhapsody Inperiaru
“Hi Uncle Devilin!”
Devilin waved his ‘niece’ into his office, taking in the dramatic way she looked out from dark hooded lashes. She was not even yet fourteen and already she had the look of a sensual woman. She had round hips, a tiny waist, red lips, and aquamarine eyes to go with the long brunette hair with shades of sienna highlighted through it. She was the spitting image of her mother, and when she grew older, and looked even more delicate, she would outshine her own mother’s beauty.
“Rhapsody, I did not expect to see you this evening,” he said.
Rhapsody smiled brightly, shining the sun in his eyes with that radiance. “I came here right after school,” and he could not help noting she was wearing her uniform that had grown snug in a few places since she had bought it nearly two months ago, “because Mom, Dad, and I are going to dinner. They thought it would be nice for the family to have dinner tonight. Are you coming along?”
Devilin shook his head, dark crimson bangs falling away from his face. He had grown out of his boyhood good looks and now held the dashing handsomeness of an older gentleman, a gentleman many a woman tried to put their hands around, in many different ways. “Your father does not think of me as family,” Devilin admitted, “only as a business partner.” Devilin looked around his office, at the glass windows that looked out at the people in the city below them, and back to Fuji’s daughter. “It’s all right, though, you need time with your family.”
Rhapsody smiled and nodded her head slowly. “It was nice seeing you,” she said, turning back around to walk out of the office. She turned back, smiling up at him sweetly, innocently. “You are coming to my birthday party, right?”
“Are you still having a wonderful time with those birthday parties your mother throws you?” Devilin asked curiously.
Rhapsody looked left, looked right, closed the door, locking herself in the room with Devilin, then rushed over to him, coming in super close and whispered, “I loathe them, but they make Mom happy, and right now I do not want to do anything that would upset her.”
Devilin let out a hearty laugh and brought Rhapsody in for a warm hug. The girl curled up in his arms, wrapping her arms around him and hugging him tightly back. When she began to pull away Devilin’s arms stiffened around her and brought her closer again. “Just stay for a minute more,” he whispered to her. “I’m sure your mom and dad have forgotten about the time and will take a few more minutes themselves anyway.”
“Don’t they always?” Rhapsody asked innocently, though now her voice was a bit shaky. She remembered one other time when Devilin had held her like this, and being young she had trusted him completely until she was sure she felt his hand run under her skirt. She could have been mistaking, she had been so shaky at the time he could have just been bringing his arms up for a hug. Now that she was pressed against him again she wondered what it was that was poking her that felt so hard. She wondered why he seemed so tense when hugging her and why she tenses back up herself. She wondered if she was imagining it again, his hand sliding over her thigh, toying with the end of her skirt, teasing the fair skin just a bit.
Rhapsody did not know if she wanted to cry and run away or let him have his way. Or was she just imagining all of this? She must just be imagining it all. He could not really be doing what she thought he was doing, but now his hand was far too high to just be hugging her, and his fingers were kneading the skin. She should pull away, and she tried, but even with only one arm wrapped around her Devilin was much stronger than she was and whatever he was trying to do to her was making her weak in the knees, more so when his fingers found the crotch of her panties and pressed tightly against it. He was doing nothing… horrible, just putting pressure where a girl her age needed none.
“Devilin,” she whispered quietly, trying to escape from his grasp and dropping all pretenses of using the title of ‘uncle’. “I have to go before my parents start looking for me.”
With the mention of her parents Devilin’s arm disappeared from around her body and she nearly fell upon her escape from his grasp. She stepped back, unsure what to do or say, or how to even react to something on that level. She bowed her head, following her parents’ traditions, and said as thinly as she could, “I hope to see you at my birthday, Uncle Devilin,” and rushed out of the room, leaving Devilin cursing himself for allowing himself to go so far with a girl so young. Rhapsody was not like her mother that was for certain. Rhapsody was more like Shai had been when she was young and naïve.
Which made things even easier for Devilin, really, especially if he was the only one who tried what he had just tried with his delicious ‘niece’.
Rhapsody went down the hall as calmly as possible. She tried not to look back, to look towards the door she had just left, wondering if he still thought of her as she walked out. This would not be the first time someone who was close to her had touched her inappropriately, and what had she done then? She might need to start working that voice of hers, but she was afraid her mother would find out. What would happen if her mother knew what two men in her life had done to her?
Rhapsody walked up to her mother’s door but before she knocked she heard the awful sounds coming from the other side. She heard her mom’s moaning and her father’s breathing and she wondered if the two of them would ever give it a rest, and at their office! Once again Rhapsody was alone. She was even lonelier since…
Rhapsody shook her head and went downstairs, taking the back stairs so she would not cross Devilin’s office again, and sat in the front area near the secretary, who did not even notice the girl was there because of the phone nearly permanently attached to her ear. Rhapsody sighed and did the only thing she could think to do… she waited.
