\"Damn,\" Leo cursed\' \"How exactly do you lose a blonde
chick with bullet ridden legs?\"
\"Why were you checking out her legs?\"
\"Uhh...\"
Suddenly, the assassin thrust her katana behind her,
impaling a lone kuma that was stupid enough to sneak
up on her. Leo nodded his approval for her fine
technique. She shook her head and beckoned for him to
follow. They snuck around in the darker sections of
the compound until they found what they were looking
for. A large, unmarked truck sat alone in a back lot.
Leo rubbed his hands together and approached the
vehicle. He froze in his tracks when a guard stepped
in his way.
\"Leo, what are you doing outside? It\'s dangerous out
here.\"
\"I was a lil cramped in my hole there and I wanted
some fresh air.\"
\"While warning sirens and gunfire are going off?
Somehow I doubt that.\"
The guard\'s eyes traveled to the young assassin.
\"And what is she doing with you?\"
\"She is my assistant,\" Leo lied.
\"Why would your assistant need a katana?\"
\"She was helping me test this out.\"
Leo held up his gauntlet. But the guard raised his AK
47 and pointed it at the assassin.
\"C\'mon, gimme a break here.\"
\"No, I will take you to Ncoleski after I dispose of
this rubbish.\"
\"Well, you got the gun...\"
WHAM!
Leo socked the guard in the face. The guard fell to
his knees, blood flowing from his nose. Leo pushed the
guard over with his boot and brushed off his gauntlet.
\"Heh, well the basic attack test proved successful,\"
Leo chuckled, \"Let\'s see what we have in this truck
and then blow this joint.\"
\"You check out the truck yourself,\" the assassin said,
\"I have to retrieve something first.\"
\"As you wish,\" Leo said as he tossed the AK-47 at her,
\"Take this, it should help you.\"
SLASH!
The young assassin slashed the gun in two.
\"I don\'t need guns.\"
\"A simple no thanks would have been enough.\"
The assassin simply took off towards her query. Leo
hopped in the back and checked out the truck. There
were crates of food, drink and ammo loaded in the
back.
A few gun crates were also found underneath some
blankets.
\"A rebel convienience mart,\" Leo said aloud, \" This
seems a little too convienient.\"
He was right. He heard the clicks of several guns
outside. He peeked out the back of the truck. A dozen
armed troops had their guns pointed at the truck.
\'Damn, I should have known.\'
Leo looked down at his gauntlet. The light had begun
to glow on it. Leo smiled and flipped a small switch
on it.
\'Don\'t fail me now...\'
Leo bointed his gauntlet towards the back of the
truck. He pressed a button. Suddenly a large, green
pulse shot out from the gauntlet, forcing it\'s way
through the weather tarp canopy and into the group of
soldiers. They fell like dominoes under the intense
blast of force.
\"Holy shit!\" Leo exclaimed, \" That was awesome!\"
Leo\'s smile soon faded as he saw one of the soldiers
get up. The coward had used one of his buddies to
shield himself. He raised his gun to fire only to be
hit in the neck with a shuriken. Blood sprayed from
his neck like a fountain as he fell lifeless to the
ground. Leo looked beyond the fallen troops to see the
assassin on a black motorcycle. She rolled over to the
truck and got off her bike.
\"I take it you got the whole ninja playset for
Christmas this year, eh?\"
\"Why didn\'t you mention that your gauntlet could do
that?\"
\"Cause you looked like you had everything under
control.\"
\"Lazy ass.\"
\"Well in any case, we should get out of here. Let\'s
get your bike up here and move out.\"
\"Okay, but don\'t scratch it.\"
After loading the bike up, Leo got in the driver seat
and fired up the engine. He shifted the truck into
gear and sped off. They rammed through the gate and
sped off onto the open road. After a while, they came
acrossed two people on the side of the road facing off
against each other. One was a blonde woman in a
trenchcoat. The other a young agressive looking man.
Leo and the assassin looked at each other.
\"Imagine that,\" the assassin said.
\"Should we give them a ride?\"
