Revenge
All reason and intelligent thought seemed to have drained from Kyra\'s now savage mind. Her slitted eyes were locked upon the madly fleeing crowd, surging towards the front entrance, shrieking and howling like frightened children, crawling and springing towards the exit with flailing arms. She saw them as nothing more than her prey, however, and continued her hunt. Revenge was sweet, or so she imagined it would be. To taste the blood of her assailants would prove to be nothing less of satisfying. They deserved it after all, their twisted ways sickening her. How could they have done that to such a poor, vulnerable young creature like herself? Well, she would show them she was not so vulnerable after all!
Her pearly fangs were bared in what resembled a smirk, finally catching sight of her first victim. The one who had so greedily gotten himself between her thighs, despite her cries of protest. The one who found it amusing to watch her reaction as he groped her freely, all while chuckling darkly at her shudders of revolt. Well, now it was his time to be in the spotlight, wasn\'t it? She watched as he tried to squeeze through the panicked rush of bodies to no avail, throwing a few young women aside in the process. She emitted a guttural snarl, whiskers twitching in annoyance as she lunged forwards. Her tail batted back and forth as she approached him, nearly silent except for a low growling. His eyes widened and he stiffened, seeming hesitant to turn around and face his new predator.
Perhaps he thinks if he doesn\'t turn around I\'ll just disappear, She mused bitterly, snorting with contempt.
Growing impatient she pounced, his body trapped beneath her heavy paws with a quick thud. Her claws dragged along his back, shredding the expensive looking suit he donned, ignoring his writhing and pleas for freedom. Mercy was not something she planned on giving so generously to someone who had showed none to her. Colorful eyes glittering with laughter, she raised a paw, incited into sudden bloodlust. Her claws glinted dangerously, hot breath fanning out across the back of his neck. She watched as he began to cry, the tears streaming down his blanched cheeks, terrified sobs wracking his frame. She lowered her paw breifly.
This would mean sinking down to his level, She thought, eyeing the trembling man beneath hr with consideration. He looked so pathetic and so helpless, it was almost like the situation before, only their roles reversed. No... I can\'t, as much as I\'d like to. I won\'t degrade myself by killing the likes of him.
Slowly, the cat-like creature stepped backwards, only to feel a blunt object connect with her skull seconds later in a dull thwack.
\"Nicely done,\" Aerin commented to his guard, crouching down in front of the unconscious cat demon. Her breathing was slow, but she was alright, aside from a shallow gash on her forehead. There was twitching beneath her eyelids he realized she wouldn\'t be out for long. \"I suppose this is the best time to do this,\" he muttered to himself lowly, withdrawing a long strip of ribbon from his pocket. It was thick and cherry red, elaborate gold script in a foreign language scrawled across it. Carefully, he reached around her neck, securing it with a tight, drooping bow.
The nearby guard arched a brow, shuffling forwards in curiosity. \"Master, if I may be so bold... what is the purpose of that ribbon?\" he inquired tentatively, craning his neck to get a better look. His weapon clanked dully at his side.
Aerin chuckled. \"It is no simple ribbon. It\'s magic.\"
\"Magic?\" The guard looked startled, surprisingly so after the scene he had just witness.
\"Yes, yes. It drains her powers so that we don\'t have to experience any more... accidents like this. I would have put it on from the very beginning if I had known the limits of her magic. I underestimated her, foolishly...\" He replied, frowning as he looked over the cat demon. Slowly, she began to shift back into her human form as the collar worked its charms, still completely nude. His frown dissolved into a fiendish grin. \"Take her to my room. I\'m afraid she needs to be punished for this... severely.\"

Author\'s Note: Sorry it was so short, but I felt that was the best place to stop this chapter before the following one. It will be longer, I think. Anyways, thank you for the couple new reviews, I really appreicate them. ^^ Oh, I nearly forgot - Vincent is now Aerin. For some reason Vincent didn\'t work for me, and it had been a last minute choice. So, I hope you\'re happy with the new name and I\'m sorry for leaving it until the ninth chapter. It was rather silly of me, but whatever. XD
