Mari's brothers

"MOMMY MOMMY! LOOK THEY HAVE A PARK!" 6 year old mari says, her tail wagging.

"hold on baby. mommy is on the phone with daddy." 

her brother comes up to her. 

"I'll race you to the house to find the biggest room." the 8 year old boy says, his tail swaying.

"ha..you won't win, luke." 

before they could run into the house, their mother spoke.

"both of you are sharing a room with Axel. remember we need to save room for your baby brother, and we only have a 3 bedroom house." their mom said, smiling at them, pointing to her stomach.

they forgot all about their new brother who was going to be here in a week.

"sorry mama." they mumbled.

"its alright. now come on, come and help mommy with dinner before daddy gets home with your other brother."

they cheered and ran into the house and into the kitchen. Amanda, their mother sat them both on stools and handed them some cookies and juices. 

"alright kiddos, we are making......steak and potatoes!" 

luke and mari smiled. Amanda handed them 2 potatoes each.

"now, peel them like i showed you at the old house." Amanda says, smiling as they use small potato peelers to peel the potatoes.

once they got done with the 2 potatoes, they peeled a few more.

"thank you for all of your help kiddos.you may now go look at your new room."

they both got off the stools quickly and ran up the stairs. there was a door with a sign labeled 'Mari', 'luke' and 'axel'.

mari opened the door to their new room and gasped. her part of the room was a light pink with small pictures on the wall and big letters she couldn't really understand yet. lukes part of the room was green with large posters and action figures. axels half was red with his many game consoles.

"woah." luke said, amazed.

mari walked over to her half of the room and smiled. she got on her bed and sighed happily.

an hour later, their dad came home with axel.

"DADDY!" mari yelled, running to her dad.

"hey there kiddo. did you or luke give your mother trouble?"

she shook her head no. 

"good." 

"welcome home axel and jeramy." amanda greeted.

Jeramy gave amanda a kiss and smiled.

mari went to axel and hugged his leg since he was 9 and he was really tall for his age.

"hi big brother." 

axel groaned and tried to get her off his leg.

finally he pushed her off, and walked away from her.

mari could feel her self starting to cry. luke walked up to her and picked her up since he was tall too.

"its okay mari, axel's just being a butthole." 

luke sat mari in her booster seat and sat down in his own chair.

"so kiddos, you start school tomorrow.''

mari sighed happily. 

"i can make new friends." she says cheerfully.

her mother nodded, smiling.
