Working Title
The large K9 had been running for hours through the thick forest that coated the foot of the large mountain like a blanket of greenery and life. He had been chased for what he was, some say it’s a curse on the world and they should all be wiped from the face of the world. The one’s chasing him was part of that extreme group and now he was running for his life. There were laws within the community of his people, never EVER show who you were to an outsider.
A sharp bang echoed through the forest as a shot came from a helicopter that was hovering over the tree tops, a yelp came from the K9 as it hit him in the rear left leg, preventing the K9 from running without a limp. It made it much harder to outrun his pursuers and he had to find shelter soon or he would be dead. It took him several hours to get higher up in the mountain, the slippery rock face had been made slick from the strong rapids not far from him. Water sprayed his fur, stinging his wound in his leg.
A slip of his weak leg sent him falling into the water and was quickly pulled down the mountain again, struggling to keep his head out of the water it quickly drained all his strength and soon passed out.
