Meeting
The streets were busy, full of people some were just getting off work and some were just starting. The air smelled of smog, but no one seemed to notice they were all too used to it by now to care. A car honked at a jaywalker who hit his hand on the hood of the car yelling at them to slow down. The sidewalks were just as bad if not worse than the streets. People pushed and shoved as they hurried to their set out destination. Rain started to fall people covered themselves with jackets newspapers, or anything else they had handy.
No one ever stood out in a city such as this, so when Sam tripped losing her only CD player to the sewer no one stopped to help her up or ask if she was ok.
People walked around her as she tried to reach for her CD player which was just out of reach. She gave up after a car hit a puddle of water that had formed-and soaked her from head to toe. She flung her hands angrily at the sky and cursed at anyone who bumped into her.
She tromped down the stairs of the nearest subway station, anger flaring and ready to lash out at anyone. Someone bumped into Sam. She was about to give them a heavy dose of rage when she slipped and fell down the rest of the stairs. She couldn’t take it anymore and burst into tears.

A woman stepped into the train that had just arrived. She was late for her meeting and her job was on the line. The woman noticed Sam laying at the bottom of the stairs the girl she looked unconscious. The woman looked at her watch she had five minutes to make it to the restaurant for drinks. She was supposed to convince the president of a major corporation to sign a contract with her law firm.
She sighed to herself knowing she was going to regret this later. She got off the train as the doors were closing and walked over to Sam who was trying to get up. Sam clutched her ankle and cried out in pain, and fell over again. The woman knelt down next to Sam, and extended a hand to help her up. Sam took it. “Are you alright?”
“Yeah I’m fine, just peachy thanks.” Sam scowled at the woman. Sam winced in pain as she put pressure on her right leg. The woman took Sam’s arm and wrapped it around her neck, and helped her to the nearest bench. She sat her down and examined her leg. Finally coming to a conclusion the woman stood up and stated. “You should be ok it’s just sprang nothing broken, though it will take a few days to heal.”
“What are you a doctor?” Sneered Sam. The woman laughed.
“No worse I’m a lawyer” She winked at Sam trying to get her to smile. It didn’t work Sam just glared even more. She looked at her watch. “Well was at any rate.” She sat down on the bench and put Sam’s arm around her again. Come on I’ll take you to my place it’s not far from here, and we will get you cleaned up ok.” Sam looked horrified. She has always been terrified of strangers.
“No that’s fine really I’m ok and I can make it back to my own place just fine thank you.”
“How far of a train ride is it from here?” Sam eyes hit the floor.
“My place is Half an hour from here.”
“Come on my place is just five minutes. I’ll take you there give you a change of clothes and some hot soup ok.” Sam timidly nodded her head.
“Ok.”
“I’m Bella by the way, what’s your name?”
“Sam.” Bella helped Sam back onto her feet. Sam clung onto Bella as they slowly made their way to the platform as the next train arrived.

I'm sorry if the story confuses anyone it tends to jump around a bit.
