When I was seventeen, the girl I was in love with at the time went to a party the first week of December, got drugged, and was raped by someone whom she thought was a friend, regardless of how many times I told her I didn’t trust the guy. She had no recollection of it until she went for an examination and was told her hymen was gone a few weeks later. Since then, she had some flashbacks of it, mainly her “friend” holding a gun to her head while he raped her. She had a pregnancy scare, and I told her flat out that any child she had would be loved by me as if the child were my own flesh and blood. The pregnancy test came up negative, and her period came a few days late, proving she wasn’t pregnant.

The story that follows, while at times resembles what happened, is not a fully true story. It is, however, a story about a young man who is forced to make a decision. A decision that many men are forced to sadly make. I know of many so-called “men” who have chosen the easy way out. I can’t call them “men” and keep a straight face, and I can very easily can lie to my own mother. If you are one of those “men” then I hope you have not bought this book yet because I’d rather you put this down and my lose a sale then you read it and feel sorry to yourself for having taken that easy exit. I can say from experience, you have no right to.

As well as the two people in the dedication, this is for those who have come to this decision, and decide to take the plunge and not leave. This is for a true man. A true father.

What you, the reader, are right now about to read is my first novel(la). Originally slated for resale complete with an ISBN and other things that make a book, it never got off the ground most likely due to subject matter. So in hopes of making some form of a following, this is being posted here at AdultFanFiction.Net until such time that it might be able to become a published story. Thus, any reviews and comments that you might have, be they good or bad, would be greatly appreciated.

Please note that this story's subject matter is touchy. While in terms of truly graphic sexual content this story is tame, the sexual content that takes place is anything but tame. In this story, sexual assaults and murders take place involving several children. If you believe this will be a problem for you, then I ask you to please stop reading here and go find something else to read. This will be the only warning that I will give.
