If you know anime, the first few lines of this were taken and changed from Evangelion. I don't own that anime (or any anime, actually) but I really love those lines so I had to use them.

This is a random story I thought of that involves me and my friends in a very non-realistic setting. XD

This world is overflowing with sorrow.
We are all drowning in emptiness.
Our hearts are lonely.
Even though we all suffer from the same thing, we are still cold, selfish, and distant.
However, there is hope.
We cannot help the invisible bonds we form with one another.
