The Fates Have Written
Prologue
In a land called ‘Roseania’ their was a kingdom, some say the palace looks like it is made out of gold from a distance others say it’s a free haven. A kingdom where many travelers may rest and seek refuge amongst its walls. The Roseania people welcome those who are proper and pure. The king does not desert those who need a place to sleep and rest from their long journeys. However no enemy shall enter its great walls among any pretest or words. Their king was a great ruler and highly respected from his people and those who have heard of him.
His name is one that no man or woman would forget in their simple life time. At birth the great king was given the name ‘Lumius’. He had been ruling his country since the age of fourteen when his father was killed in battle. Though at a young age Lumius ruled greatly and made decisions with great promise. When he was twenty his council had told him that it was time to find a bride. That he did, Lumius found a woman who was beautiful and sweet hearted. The first moment Lumius laid eyes on her, he knew that she was his future queen and mother to his children.
A great feast was held for the couple and a wedding that no one could forget. King Lumius and Queen Satisha was a perfect match and all the people loved their new queen. About a year later Lumius and Satisha were blessed with a beautiful son whom they named Lukeius but Luke for short. The kingdom were overjoyed of hearing the news that their future king was born. The first moment Lumius laid eyes on his son he already knew Luke would become a fine ruler when his time would come.
Yet the Fates watched from above and already started to write young Luke’s future. They smiled and chuckled and would wait until the day came were young Luke’s path would take him. The road would be bumpy along his way of life and their will be decisions that the prince will have to make no matter what the outcome will be. The fates worked their magic upon the young prince’s future. It only takes a mere look upon a new born child for the fates to see the child’s destiny. They had written that Lumius would become a great ruler when he was just an infant. They wrote that Satisha would become the future queen of Roseania. Now it was their son’s turn to have his future written out for him and what a cunning one he will have.
