He Came Calling
A/N; This story is dedicated to Necromancer10, who loved every minute of my first four stories.
Name one thing that annoys you. For me, it is when I have finished work, I have just sat down with a drink and then a door salesman comes to sell you something. Well, normally I don't get bothered because there is a note on my door saying what I don't want to be sold, including religion, facilities and so on. But when they start coming out with new things, they tend to throw you a curve ball.
I sat down on my couch. Another hard day at work over. I pressed a button on my remote and music started up. I listened to it, relaxing in the tune and huming to the lyrics.
All to soon my relaxing time was over with a heavy knocking on my door. Seriously, I want my chill time, not to listen to people sell me things. I wasn't expecting anyone, so who else could it be? I got up and went to the front door. Opening it, there stood a nice looking guy. His hair was a light brown and it was short and gelled up. His face was a nice shape with brilliant blue eyes to go with it.
'Hi there.' He said, smiling almost beyond the barrier of his face. 'My name is Xander. I'd like to have a word with Terry if I could.'
'How many words do you want with me? If it is just the one you are over the limit.' I said to him.
'Ah! Right, of course. Well, I am here because you signed up to our program a while ago.' he said. I looked at him.
'Remind me.' I said flatly, still trying to wonder who sent him and why.
'Well, you signed up to a homosexual group that runs al sorts of activities for all age groups. Since you did, we have been making preparations for a grand opening.' Xander said to me.
'Really? Now I remember.' I said, looking him over quickly. His business shirt hid whatever body type he had, but he looked like a decent type.
'That's good. Now then, I want to ask you a few questions. May I come in?' he asked. It was a cold night and I was not in the mood to stand on the front porch and answer surveys. I led him in and sat him down on the sofa chair.
'Drink?' I offered.
'Water thanks.' he said. I poured a glass of water from the kitchen tap and passed it to him.
'Now then; what sort of activities do you think we should hold?' he asked me. It was a very wide question.
'Well, for people under eighteen there should be seminars for what the homosexual world is really like. What we put up with, what the clubs and scenes are like. You know. And for people over 18 we should have either social nights at a venue so people can meet other people. Or you should have safe sex nights down at the local places, if you can hire them out.' I said. My tone or mood didn't wavour, and he took fast notes as I spoke. When I mentioned the last event he looked at me oddly. He wrote the rest down and then asked the next question.
