End of Childhood
Ten-year-old Delilah Fey stood in absolute horror and panic at the macabre sight before her. Blood was splattered in unnatural amounts along the floor and cabinets. Large puddles of dark red pooled around three motionless heaps sprawled on the floor. There was so much blood. It was shiny and gooey and heavy with a metallic scent. In the center of this repulsion scene, soaked in the bright red color from his dirty blonde hair to bare feet, her 15-year-old Austin stood with his head cocked to one side and his hands still at his sides. Clutched in one hand was a large and sharp knife streaked in blood. The metallic smell was thick and disgusting. Lila gaggled and coughed noisily and instinctively covered her nose and mouth with her hand. Austin turned around and his green eyes lit up. Lila tensed as tears welled in her eyes.
“ ‘ello dove,” Austin greeted, cheerfully in a phony British accent. Lila’s mouth fell open and she scowled to herself. Austin never called her dove. No one ever called her dove. No one but…Samson, her imaginary friend called her that. Lila stared at him intently.
“Samson?” Lila squeaked. Austin smiled broadly and enthusiastically. He took a step toward her, dropping the knife to the ground with a clatter. He clasped his hands together happily.
“Yes, master. It is me! Aren’t you happy? I defeated the evil people. They cannot separate us now. Did I do well? Aren’t you happy?” Lila sniffled and shook her head. She took a step back as he advanced. Tears streamed down her red cheeks as she held her hands over her nose to block the scent. Austin’s face was smeared with blood and those usually unfocused and drug induced eyes were staring at her with such love and adoration.
“No. No,” she sobbed and moaned. “I’m not happy. Where’s my brother?”
“Somewhere…he is sleeping deep down,” he winked, mischievously. Lila was breathing hard as she stared at the bodies of her parents and aunt.
“You killed my parents.”
“I killed the bad people. It is okay, right? They were bad and I stopped them. I am a hero,” he insisted with childlike persistence. “They can’t separate us and we can be together. Why are you crying?”
“They weren’t bad. You are bad. You did a very bad thing. That is murder,” Lila hissed between sobs. She was backing up even more but she could barely hold herself up. She leaned against the wall as tears fell more freely from her eyes. Austin’s face fell into one of confusion and hurt.
“I’m bad? I did a bad thing? I am not bad! I did a good thing! They wanted to separate us.”
“No. No. No, Samson. Murder is bad! Very bad. They wanted to help. They wanted to help me. Because you were being bad and doing bad things and I was getting in trouble. You have been very bad and now I have no parents.” Lila fell to her knees, crying miserably into her hand. She heard Samson shuffled his feet and approach her. Lila was trembling terribly. Her nose was running and she sniffled and moaned. Samson kneeled to her level and looked at her with Austin’s eyes. They were clouded with worry and guilt but also a hint of anger. Lila squeezed her eyes shut unable to look at the blood stained features.
“Master. Please don’t cry. Please. I didn’t know. They were trying to separate us and I didn’t want them to. I need you and you need me, right? I love you.” Lila shook her head but she was sobbing and bawling too loud to answer. Her stomach felt hot and her throat was burning. Austin rested a hand on her shaking back and pulled her close to him. Instinctively, Lila buried her head into his chest. Samson held her tightly to him, rocking her and purring comforting words. He stroked her back and buried his face into her wet white-blonde hair. Samson planted soft kissed on top of her head and rubbed his cheek against it. His shirt was drenched in blood and the warm smell hit her nostrils. Cringing, Lila tired to pull away but his grip was firm and commanding. Lila struggled desperately.
“Let go of me. Let go. You are bad. You are bad. You are a murderer.” His fingers loosened and Lila stood up, preparing to run away. Samson grabbed her wrist and kept her in place.
“I am not bad! I didn’t know! I didn’t know. I am sorry,” Samson pleaded. “Don’t go, dove. Don’t go! You can’t leave me! I love you.”
“No! No! No!” Lila chanted, trying to pry his fingers away from her wrist. Samson stood up and a dark rage crossed Austin’s handsome features.
“I said I was sorry. Please forgive me. Let’s kiss and make up!” With a violent tug, he pulled her toward him, towering over her. His mouth captured hers quickly. Lila froze at the sensation of her brother’s warm and wet lips against hers. His hands cupped her face and smiled into the kiss. Lila couldn’t think of what to do. He was kissing her so tenderly and thoughtfully. But it was her brother and this was bad too. Austin’s tongue flickered across her salty lips and begged for acceptance. Lila obliged without thinking and he explored her slow and thoroughly. He gently bit down on her bottom lip and his hands fell down her sides. They slipped craftily under her pajama top and brushed against her underdeveloped chest.
Lila pulled away at the sudden pleasurable sensation, his spell breaking. She raised her leg and kicked him swiftly in the groin. He winced but didn’t let go of her. With an angry growl, Austin pushed her down and pinned her to the ground. Lila struggled, thrashing about violent. He held her arms above her head but didn’t do anything. Those green eyes were filled with rage and lust and hurt. Lila cried and sobbed vehemently. This wasn’t Samson anymore. This wasn’t her friend. This was a monster. This was something evil and now she was in trouble. He was going to hurt her. He could kill her like her parents. Austin leaned in and gently kissed her cheeks. Licking away the tears, he planted comforting kisses down her throat.
“Don’t worry master. I’ll make you happy again. You will see. I will make you very happy,” he tried to sooth. All Lila could do was cry. Soon, it became too much for the small child to bare and she blacked out with the pressure of his wonder lips on hers.
I got the idea for this after watching Child's Play until four in the morning. Please read and review. I love feedback! Tell me what you think and I will put up more.
