A New Outlook on Life

Chapter 1
The alarm clock went off and a grumble could be heard from deep under the covers. A hand came out and turned it off as a feminine voice spoke. “Who ever invented alarm clocks, I hope they die...” Another voice could be heard yelling up the stairs. “Jade, honey, you better get up or your going to be late for school!” Jade yelled down to her mom. “I’m up mom!” “Alright then could you wake up your brother?” “Alright.” Jade got up she was only wearing a tank top and boxers as she went ahead and turned on the shower and get the warm water running. While she waited she went to her little brother’s room and pounded on the door. “Jason! Jason wake your ass up or your going to be late!” Jade’s mom yelled up the stairs. “Language young lady!” She sighs. “Sorry mom.” Jason, her little brother, opened the door rubbing his eyes. “What’s going on?” Jade sighed again. “Nothing bro.” She then grabbed him by the collar and brought him back to the doorway of his room. “Oh no you don’t! That shower is for me. Your just gonna have to wait your turn.” He sucks his teeth in response. “Aw man! I knew I should have woken up earlier!” She snickered as she grabbed her clothes and walked into the bathroom, sticking her tongue out at him. “Snooze you lose bud!” She then shut the door in his face.
She stripped and hopped in, feeling the warmth of the water hit her body in beads. She gasped because it was too hot and turned the nozzle to make a little cooler. She smiled as she washed her body and then her hair, shaving while conditioner was in her hair. What? After all she is a girl and girls shave. She shut off the water and grabbed her black towel and wrapped it around her body as she grabbed her smaller one and started to dry her hair. She then went in front of the mirror and whipped away some of the perspiration so she could see her reflection. She grabbed her make up and started to put it on. Black eye liner lined with silver, then jade green eyeshadow mixed with sapphire blue, just like her eye color. She didn’t like to wear a lot of make up, but she loved to accent her eyes. She then grabbed her clear lip gloss and put some on. She brushed her hair till it was dry and shined. She always did love her hair. Her hair was black with ice blue tips and silver streaks as well. The cut was about mid shoulder length and layered. She smirked at her appearance as she then grabbed her black shirt that said. ‘Yea, so I’m a bitch. Get over it.’ and found her short black skirt with chains and put it on as well. After that she found her glasses and put them on as she ran out of the bathroom with a toothbrush in her mouth back into her room and was looking for combat boots.
“Jade! Dri, Kali, and Tsuki are here to pick you up!” She looked at the time and shouted. “Damn it!!! And I’m not ready yet!” Kali spoke from the doorway. Kalidona, her so called twin. She had mid shoulder length hair that was golden, her hair at the bottom of her scalp was dyed a crimson color. It was sexy! She wore baggy black pants that had holes and chains all over it. Her shirt was crimson with black letters. ‘Your just mad that I’m hotter then your boyfriend.’ She smirked as she spoke. “Then you should have gotten up earlier.” Jade growled in response. “Bite me Kal.” Kalidona laughed. “I think you would like that too much babe.” They both looked at each other and laughed as Jade started to pack her backpack. Dri and Tsuki walked into the room. Driretlan was dress in baggy black pants and a tight black wife beater shirt. Tsuki was wearing dark blue baggy pants with a blood red wife beater shirt trimmed in white. Both of them had black colored hair, but Tsuki’s eyes were amazingly different, they were the color of dark red wine and Dri’s was that of a dark green. Dri sighed. “Your still not ready?” Jade growled again. “Kiss my ass Driretlan.” He looks hurt and looks at her with innocent eyes. “Aw come on Jade... You know I love you...” He kisses her on the cheek as a way to ask for forgiveness. She caves in and sighs. “Fine, Dri, your forgiven... Now lets go before were all late.” They all nodded as Tsuki and Dri left her room and went for Tsuki’s car, which was a gt cobalt, stock. Kali and Jade got on Jade’s famous motorcycle, a Suzuki gt racer. They took off as Kal and Jade placed there packs in the boys car and they left, both racing to see who will get to school first.
