Extemporé -- Prologue//intro
Err. Hi. Welcome to my slashfic. :l This is my first try, so please keep all insults//complaints//destructive criticism to yourselves. I\'m well aware that I suck at this, so bear with me while I give it my best shot, okay? :P I admit, sexually-themed writing is not my forté. I\'m an aspiring novelist... not a pr0n director. X3; Ahh... what else. Oh. Well. The main characters. Hennesee and Quinn. Henn is an anthro feline, k. ;l But I really quite honestly don\'t classify this as furry. ~_~ Because... he doesn\'t act like an animal? oO; You can read an account of his life story told in first person here: http://www.freewebs.com/henneway/historystory.htm That site is his character site... lol, he started out as a simple Furc character to kill some time. But now he\'s grown into the main character of a book I\'m writing. :l This slashfiction is just a little fantasy story about it. A little fanfiction, yeah? ^^; I guess I should explain the characters... Please, do not claim to dislike Henn because he is \'super uke\'. He may be, but it is not without well-explained reason. Here.
Hennesee... let\'s see. Let\'s describe him. He\'s a bit on the short side, a mere 5\'10\'\'. Kinavira are usually on the short side. Henn\'s mother (whom he was stolen from at seven) was only about 5\'3\'\'. Quinn, however, is taller than him at 6\'2\'\'. Henn\'s hair is cut in the... shall we say, \'emo\' style? Long bangs framing his face with short, spikey-ness in back. His roots to about half the length of his hair are black, and the rest it blood-red coloured. Interestingly enough, no one is for sure certain if it\'s dyed or not. It wasn\'t found out before Henn lost his memories.
Yes! Hennesee has lost his memories. A year and a half ago, justabouts, he went off somewhere mysteriously and didn\'t return for an entire week. When he did return, however, he had no knowledge of his past, save a few people that he could remember. Shortly following his return (a few months after) Quinn (whom he had been in love with since shortly after meeting him) also disappeared quite randomly. But alas, his presence was missed for a lot longer than Henn\'s was... three months Henn sat and waited for him, becoming anti-social and withdrawn, his fear that he\'d never be able to tell Quinn how he really felt causing his slow decent into madness.
Personality-wise, Henn is a very loving and caring person. But he never talks to anyone else aside Quinn, so he comes off as very distant and apathetic to most. He\'s quiet and reserved, and doesn\'t often voice his opinion unless it is asked of him. And even then, it\'d take a while to get it out of him. He\'s a bit of a speech problem. His words are slow. Not because his mind is slow, mind you. He\'s very quick-witted and, when he applies himself, can think of some very crafty comebacks. Henn\'s tastes in art and music are refined to a point. He enjoys most forms of both, though cringes at country and would much rather stab himself in the ear with a pencil than look at anything so abstract you can\'t figure out if it\'s a dog or a washing machine. Henn is thought of to be suicidal, and has tried to do himself in more than once. Though unable to. He hasn\'t attempted as of late, but the idea glimmers in his mind every so often.
Quinn now, let\'s see. Spoiled little rich kid! No, I\'m teasing. Sure, he had the $$\'s. But he wasn\'t as stuck up as you\'d think. But enough about his past. What\'s important is now. He\'s taller than Henn as mentioned, fair-skinned and dark-haired. Kind and caring, loving and gentle. But only to Henn, mostly. With other people he can tend to get a bit out-of-hand with his off-handed insults and sharp comebacks.
When Henn was kidnapped at 7, he was taken to a facility that is owned by a large group of people very concerned with the Kinavra species. The dark, as they have called themselves, can just as easily be likened to a group of ruthless assassins as they can be to a group of concerned enviornmentalists. In Henn\'s few years there, he was taught French, which he uses often. He uses it when he\'s very serious, and also when he talks to himself or thinks to himself. Quinn has picked up on it a bit and uses what little he knows from time to time to try and impress Henn.
Henn, throughout his teens, was sexually abused constantly. Though he doesn\'t remember it, which is a good thing. Though there are some after-effects from it. His collar, for instance. Seamless. Leather. The one spot on his body that can make him fold faster than a broken lawn chair. Touch anywhere near or under his collar and you are left with a Kinavra puddle.
Henn is, for lack of a better term, owned by Quinn. Tag and everything. Though neither refer it it as an ownership. More of an assurance of protection. Or, as Henn put it, he is merely a worshipper under the loving rule of a god. But even before the titles came up, Henn was severely loyal to him. You would be to, if the last person you trusted on earth had taken you in when you were at wit\'s end. Quinn gave him a home. A purpose. Henn felt as if he owed him everything he could give. But it wasn\'t as if anything was demanded of him. No, Quinn was content with having him there. Henn\'s well-being was all he ever wanted. Though, Quinn does believe that the entire deal with Henn going half-insane is his fault, and he feels the pressure and stress from that every day. Which leads me into the story. So enjoy please.
