Dragon Lore[Repost]
Prologue
::Dragons: Mythical beings of our past? Overly exaggerated creatures of our wildest imaginings? Could it be that they are simply a creation of our most fevered fantasies? Or is their existence based in true fact? Were they, at one time long ago, actually roaming this very Earth? One could not fail to see the facts that seem to indeed prove that the creatures were at least based off of some inkling of truth. For instance.. Take into account the wide range of ancient artifacts proclaiming the dragons’ existence... Whether in text or depicted through art. Almost every culture of olden times had at least one story or legend about the beings. From China to Europe and almost everywhere else... Dragons have been described as many things. Ranging from: Noble, wise protectors to mindless, blood thirsty beasts... Depending on where the description had originated. My one question remains throughout all of my thoughts on this subject: If the creatures we label as ‘Dragons’ did not indeed once roam our lands... Then how could so many places around the globe, that at the time had no way of contacting one another, come up with these creations that so resembled each other? So... Until it is proven, without a doubt and backed up by with true evidence, then I will still continue to believe that these magnificent beasts, the lords of the skies, land and even water, at one time and still might... Exist.::
[[ A/N. Key: ( * ) This indicates a flashback or a \'dreamscene.\' (~~~) This shows a switch to Gidge\'s point of view(POV). And the words \'DragonLore\' repeated numerous time in a line indicates the breaking into a different POV or a \'timelapse,\' which just means I didn\'t want to describe a long boring scene that really had no relevance other than just being there. ]]
