Destiny Bound

It has been three weeks since I left for Lillybound. I've been e-mailing my friends back home alot, Millissa mostly, she was after all my best friend.

I also write to Jordan. Before I moved, he told me that he would miss me and gave me a goodbye present. A cross. I wear it all the time. Just after I moved, Jordan moved as well. I don't know to where, but at least we still talk to each other.

I was on the computer intant messaging him, when i asked him for his new phone number. When he gave it to me I was surprised.

"You live in Lillybound." I typed. We typed back and forth both surprised that we had moved to the same place.

Jordan: How did you know?

Me: I live in Lillybound, too. I told you that already. Silly!

Jordan: Wow! do you think it was destiny?

Me: I don't know, it's weird! But I have to go now, I am meeting some new friends in 15 minutes.

We said goodbye and I turned off my computer. As I got ready to leave, I noticed my cross necklace was misplaced. It was supposed to be on my dresser with the rest of my jewelry. I rumaged around in my jewelry box for a while, but it wasn't anywhere to be found. I turned around to look somewhere else for it, then I was it on my desk, by my candles, half smudged black. I wondered about it for a few minutes, then washed it off and put it on when i couldn't figure out how it got there.

A little while later I was walking to the mall with four new friends. We've only known each other for a few weeks, but we already have nicknames for each other.

Ashley is Blair, Brian is Vile, Daniel is Greet, Nerrisa is Lochness, and I am Spark.

"I think I know someone that you guys would love." I said to Vile as I tackled Greet into a headlock. "It would be awesome!"

"Who? The little boy who talks to you on the internet?" Blair asked sarcastically.

"Yes, and he's not a little boy- he's my boyfriend. You would know that if you actually listened to me every once in a while." I let go of Greet and crossed my arms. I turned to face Nerissa, who was being unusually quiet, and said, "Aren't you being a little quiet today, Lochness? You're usually as bouncy as I am."

"Oh, no! I'm just excited about something," Lochness gave me a wide smile and continued, "I've been waiting for something to happen and it's finally going to!"

"Oh, so you get quiet when you're excited?" I teased Lochness. "What are you excited about?"

Lochness glanced at Vile then said quickly, "Nothing. I'm not supposed to tell you."

Vile glared at Lochness, but when he saw me watching him, he looked down to the ground.

"What's the problem, Vile? Are you trying to leave me out of everything?" I was getting mad. I had never seen Vile look at anyone like that. "What is it? Do you not like me around? Because, if that's the case, then I'll leave you guys alone!"

Vile was surprised at my explosion. He looked stunned and was speechless.

"Oh, no, that's not it at all, Spark," Blair jumped into the conversation, "As a matter of fact, Vile likes you alot!" She smile smiled teasingly towards Vile.

"Yeah, he always wants you around." Greet slapped Vile on the back and laughed.

"Besides, you are gonna know soon enough!" Lochness said, "You have to meet us at the hideout this weekend and we'll show you." Lochness clapped her hands together and gave me a huge smile.

Vile composed himself finally and added, "Bring Renea and Jordan, too."

I smiled and nodded, "Sure! That way you can meet them!" I was happy again, "You guys are going to love them."

We moved to Lillyboun because my mom has a friend here that she can't live without. We moved into a house down the street from her, she has a daughter named Renea that I see just about everyday.

That night I went over to Renea's house and told her about this weekend. I also asked her mom if she knew any of my new friends.

"Brian Lossen? That sounds so familiar. Honey do you remember a Brian Lossen?" She asked her husband.

"Yeah, wasn't he the kid that dissapeared, like, 15 years ago? I remember watching it on the news, it was all they talked about after it happened." Her husband smiled and then continued to watch TV.

"Oh, yes! I remember now." She looked satisfied at the newly found memory. "It was all over the news. He dissapeared along with three of his friends. They never found even a trace of them, it was real strange."

My face dropped, I never expected that. "Do you remember his friends names?" I asked casually as i frantically thought it couldn't possibly be Vile.

"Well, I remember one of their names, it was so unique. I loved the name. Nerrisa, I think it was."

My expression dropped ever further, my eyes went black, and I fell into my thought.

It can't be. How could they have kept this from me? How could they have dissapeared 15 years ago? They are only 18 now. Think Logically, Jennifer, you have to figure this out. They couldn't tell me, they had to hide it, it was a secret. They want me to... they won't, can't, I won't let them! Jennifer! Think straight! You're not even putting full sentances together. They must have eternal life or something. No, that's stupid, that is just a myth. But it makes perfect sense. No... SNAP OUT OF IT!

I woke up to a soft face, my eyes were fuzzy, so i couldn't peice together exactly who it was. I was laying in my bedroom on my bed

"Good, you're awake. I was worried about you." said a soft deep voice. The sound of his voice was light, but it peirced through my head. I suddenly realized who was sitting beside my bed, watching over me. I jumped and let out a tiny yelp, but soon fell back into my bed when my head pounded with pain.

"What are you doing here?" I said, trying not to kill my brain with anymore loud noises.

"I know you asked about us." Vile replied. "I wanted to talk to you before i didn't have another chance."

"How did you kow that?" I asked, still wondering about everything.

"Renea called me and told me you fainted and hit your head. I was worried." I watched him as he starred at his shoes, "It's all true."

My mouth opened with the intent of saying something, but shut as soon as I realized what he was talking about.

"I can't explain it here. We were going to tell you this weekend at the hideout. We were going to tell you everything. You have to promise me you, Renea and Jordan will still some this wekkend." he looked up at me and starred into my eyes as intently as he starred at his shoes. "We wasnt to explain some more. There are other things we want to tell you."

I couldn't help myself, I smiled and said, "OK, I'll be there."

"Great. I suppose you brobably want me to leave not." He smiled weakly and got up to leave.

"No," I grabbed his hand and said, "for some reason I want you to stay. Just untill I fall back to sleep."

He smiled and sat back down. Until I fell asleep, I didn't let go of his hand.

The rest of that week I tried my hardest to not tell Jordan or Renea what I found out that night. Luckily, Renea wasn't listening when I was talking to her mom about Brian. Neither of them knows why i fainted.

I kept thinking about what was going to happen this weekend. I never thought about another thing. Even Jordan was at the back of my mind for the rest of the week.

Saturday night had finally arrived. It's 11 o'clock. I had changed into my night clothes so that my mom wouldn't be suspisciouse, so i changed back into my regular clothes and put my shoes on.

I grabbed my housekey and went out the backdoor. I started to wask to Renea's house, I was hoping she would already be waiting for me, and sure enough, she was. We started towards Jordan's house, luckily he too was standing outside waiting for us.

This was the first time since i moved to Lillybound that i could see Jordan. He's the exact same Jordan I had known since the 6th grade. Dark brown, spiked hair, olive skin, and eyes the color of shit. I have always loved his shit-brown eyes.
