Chapter One...The intro
Beep beep beep! Beep beep beep!
The sound of an alarm clock blares through the darkened house, awakining a young women in her late 20\'s. She glances at the time, her vision blurred.
\"Great, six-o-clock. A full hour early!\" She said, trying to turn off the alarm, but she couldn\'t see the off switch. Fumbling with the clock, she gets out of bed, her nightgown flowing in the breeze coming from the open window. She walks across the room towards the balcony on the otherside. On her way, she stubs her big toe on her dresser.
\"Ow! Damn dresser, always getting in the way.\" She grumbled, massaging her toe and opening the sliding glass door that lead to the balcony. Lights glared at her from well lit office buildings and apartments with teens that have been up all night partying. She took in a deep breathe, lettng the clean fresh air wash over her, through her nassal passage and into her lungs. She reall did love Washington State. Walking inside, she began going down stairs to the kitchen to begin making coffe. She glanced back up the stairs, hearing another alarm clock.
\"How come Mark\'s clock get\'s him up on time, but mine doesn\'t? Life\'s no fair...\" She whined continueing down stairs. This was Nari Shimatsori, a 29 year old woman, who lives in the capitol city of Washington State, near downtown. She is happily married to Mark Salan. She works at a newspaper, the \'Washington Post\', and her husband is in the Navy. The live a happy, normal life, or so they thought, because someone has been searching for Nari for what seemed like a lifetime, and in the back of her mind, Nari wondered if her dead boyfriend was really gone.
