Character Bios
Ashieyu: She is 5\'2 with medium length brown curly hair and bright blue eyes; she has elf style ears and fangs. She has fair skin and is fairly strong for a girl. She is half shadow demon and half physic demon. In human form she wears black baggy pants with a samurai sword around her belt buckle. She wears a grey tank top shirt with a black pendant that her father gave her. She also wears a black cape. In her demon form she has bat like wings that spread from her shoulder blades and a grey black skirt that has rips going up to her thigh and black boots. She wears a skin tight black tank top and her eyes get an even brighter blue with slits for irises, she can shoot energy balls and fall into the shadows and can appear from any where. She can levitate and read minds (but never likes to) and use telekinesis (not very good). She is 17 and can be shy, stubborn, has a short temper, can be some what perky but not always the brightest. Her mother died when she was 7 and she was left with her father and twin brother. After her father died when she was 13 her brother took over the clan. She wanted to get away and not have the pressures of being married. She switches between jobs of a thief, assassin, or a spy. Her boss usually keeps her busy so she doesn\'t have much time for friends.
Tetsumi: He is 5\'11 with long dark blue hair that is straight and tied up into a ponytail. He has grey eyes that can turn to purple when he\'s angered. He has fair skin and fangs, and is skinny but muscular. He is full water demon, and wears black pants and boots, and has a dark blue vest that buckles up and shows part of his stomach. He wears a black cloak and carries two samurai swords together around his waist, but can also use his sharp claws. Beside his swords he can control water so he can use that to fight sometimes. He\'s 19 and very quiet and mysterious, calm, and he\'s very intelligent. Both of his parents died when he was 8 because of a war that was going on between the water clan and earth clan. He was orphaned after the village was burned to the ground. He ran into a group of thieves and they took him in and taught him all they know about fighting and thievery. Since he was so strong they kicked him out for fear of their lives so he wandered around picking up aimless jobs from the same boss that Ashieyu has but both of them never knew about each other. He\'s not really a people person and he doesn\'t like partners.
Rikki (boss): He is 6\'3 with white hair that is short and wavy. He has golden eyes and tattoos beside his eyes that create a very small design. He is lightly tanned and semi muscular. He is a very strong angel and can sprout white wings from his back and he wears a grey cape with a white shirt and blue baggy pants. He carries a light sword that he can transform his energy into it. He can use light for his attacks. He is very old he\'s been around for a long time but he looks 20. He very patient, calm, happy, stubborn, mysterious, and intelligent. He was kicked out of heaven by God so he has to stay on earth until God thinks he\'s ready to come back. He\'s been on earth for 200 years now and still hasn\'t been allowed back, maybe if he helps Ashieyu and Tetsumi find each other he might be welcomed back. When he got kicked out of heaven he took s job as contact then started working by himself and recruited Ashieyu, he can also be very friendly but serious.
Setting
The time is a little after the Feudal era. The place is Japan. The town that the characters live in is named Altair it is a small peaceful little town with some friendly people. There are many demon clans near the town so it usually gets burned or there are lots of robberies. Some demons live and work in the town and are very friendly. The town is near a huge forest across from the bridge there\'s a little river separating the forest from the town and a huge market place in the center. It\'s full of busy and chatty people. You can smell the cooking and breads from the bakery. You can feel the wind through your hair and the trees rustling. You can feel the hard ground under your feet.
Chapter 1
The News
My name is Ashieyu and I am 17. I ran away from home when I was young and I hear my brother is looking for me so my friend Rikki is hiding me from him. Now I\'m going to meet Rikki in the woods, he says he has stuff to tell me. But not thinking it will change my future and the way I look at things.
Rikki now leaning against a tree as the wind blows his hair in front of his eyes as he watches the shadows of the trees dance on the ground. \"Late again,\" sighing he golden eyes look up to the baby blue sky and puffy clouds that float by.
\" Hey Rikki, sorry I\'m late.\" Ashieyu now running up to Rikki waving and smiling as her long curly hair blows behind her with her cape. Smiling Rikki gets off the tree and walks towards her. \"So you said you had something to tell me?\" Ashieyu now putting her hands behind her back and leaning in smiled.
\"You\'re getting a partner, his name is Tetsumi. He is 19 and a full water demon.\"
\"Wow a full water demon, I thought they were all wiped out in the war,\" Ashieyu now looking at Rikki with interest because of the information. Rikki looks into her beautiful blue eyes get\'s stuck in them. Waving her hand in front of his face Ashieyu starts laughing. \"Hello earth to Rikki, come in Rikki.\" Finally coming back to reality Rikki grabs Ashieyu\'s hand out of the air pulling her closer till their face\'s were only centimeters apart. Both were silent for a while \"Rikki you can let go of my hand now.\" Blushing Ashieyu looks down to the ground and Rikki smiles. \"
Well I better be going now. Bye,\" Rikki now turning gets turned back around by Ashieyu.
\"Oh don\'t go Rikki come on let\'s go into town and have fun. That fair is finished today. Do you wanna go with me?\" Ashieyu looks at Rikki with puppy dog eyes.
Feeling the wind blow his hair into his face Rikki closed his golden eyes thinking for a moment then looked at Ashieyu, \"Sure I\'ve got nothing else to do.\"
\"Yay! Come on Rikki let\'s fly there.\" Nodding Rikki let out his beautiful white feathered wings and took to the sky, while Ashieyu let out her bat like wings and followed shortly behind. Flying through the sky the wind was blowing their hair around their faces as the fluffy white clouds were above them in the powder blue sky. Seeing the town in site Ashieyu dives down to the ground and places her wings inside her back as she sees Rikki do the same. \"Come on Rikki I\'m starved let\'s get something to eat, I\'m buying,\" pulling Rikki through the crowd.
\"Humans are very interesting creatures, but surprisingly they can cook good.\" Rikki and Ashieyu now munching on food as little children run by them laughing and pulling their parents to the attractions. There were people dressed up in costumes and puppet shows, some of the older people had sword fights going while others had fighting sessions going. The smells of meat and baked breads filled the air as the chatting of people could be heard through the forest.
Later that night Rikki was walking Ashieyu home, the dark sky was illuminated by the bright stars and full moon, which fell into the trees and threw the branches. Walking back home the light fell onto Rikki and pierced through the shadows that once covered his face, \"Rikki thanks for walking me home. You didn\'t have to you know.\" Rikki now turning to Ashieyu smiled.
\"It\'s ok I don\'t want my little assassin to get hurt,\" laughing Rikki rubbed his arm from where Ashieyu had playfully hit him.
\"I\'m not that little,\" pouting Ashieyu laughed as she walked up her steps to the door with Rikki following. \"Well Rikki thanks a lot, good night.\" Yawning Ashieyu stretched and as she did Rikki got closer to her.
\"Good night Ashieyu\" kissing her lightly on the cheek Rikki turned around letting his wings out and flew away into the darkness.
