Lily

Lily walked happily through the gates of her school and was instantly joined by Louise and Anne, her best and only friends, although they were all she needed. The trio spent most of their time together, talking animatedly about crushes, life and ambitions and had stayed together since a childish meeting in Nursery school and a trivial argument over who could play in the sandpit when there was only room enough for two of them.


The oldest of the trio, Louise had long blonde hair that hung in waves over her shoulders and bounced lightly as she walked ,her eyes were a deep green meadow in which boys from around her would get lost in and had a figure to die for, one that Lily was envious for ,although lily herself was a fine shape. Whilst Anne was the youngest , only four months younger than Lilly and six months younger than Louise, she had long black locks that hung straight over her darkish hued skin.


Lilly was almost ordinary, Lengthy mouse coloured hair hung in loose waves over her shoulders and down her back. Always self conscious of her looks she wore sensible clothing, usually casual jeans and a t-shirt so as the attention would be distracted from her and focused apon her partners in crime ,Anne and Louise, although she would never admit any such to her friends. Friends they were but the most dear things she thought, she kept near to her heart, there within her soul, within her being.


The trio began talking about their latest crush ,Daniel, a boy from a neighbouring comprehensive school . Being the most flirty and a socialite ,Louise thrilled in ‘pulling’ boys and had already got her possessive paws firmly dug into Daniel, but of course there was no harm in the others dreaming.
“He has gorgeous eyes doesn’t he?, When we were in the cinema I couldn’t stop staring at them, even in the dark ,I was thinking ‘oh my god I can’t believe I’m here next to him’” said Louise , bragging as usual, making Lily overtly green-eyed with jealousy, but Lily managed to conceal it after letting the mask slip for a quick moment. After ten minutes of noisy chatter the girls split and went their separate ways ,each to their own registration classes. During registration which approximately only lasted a few minutes Lily realised she had left a very much needed note and frantically panicked until her teacher suggested phoning her mother, she did so and her mother told her to meet her.


Lily waited patientily outside the area of the promised meeting and looked at her watch sighing, it was already an hour into school and she had been waiting here almost thirty long minutes, twiddling the straps of her bag. She got up suddenly and picked up her bag, throwing it onto her back she started to make her way up a side street. After a few minutes of hard walking up the lane she could hear someone behind her and began walking quicker, her legs aching already,suddenly she tripped and felt herself being hoisted up by someone, twirling round quickly she saw a baseball bat swinging towards her ,before she could escape it came crashing down onto her head,perhaps not enough to kill her but she felt herself overcome by bitter darkness.
