Haunted Hospital
Rachel\'s high heels clacked as she walked on the paved sidewalks laid next to the gigantic building. She kept a straight smile as she walked through the automatic-opening doors and clacked to the front desk.
\"Hello, I\'m the new..erm..volunteer. My name is Rachel Sanara--\"
The lady behind the desk popped her gum and shuffled through the messy papers that were scattered all over the infested desk. Rachel thought that any moment a rat would scurry across the table, so she stood back.
\"Ahh, yes. Rachel Sanara.\" The lady stood up and retreated to a room behind her. Minutes later she came back with a small brown package that she laid in front of Rachel. Rachel snagged it and grinned.
\"Thanks! But where\'s my ID? I just took the picture two days ago--\"
The lady got up from the seat again, making it squeak. She retreated to the back room once again. She came out with a little plastic ID in her hand and put it in from of Rachel. Rachel put it around her neck as the lady sat down in her seat and let out a sigh as if she had been running laps. She turned slowly to her computer and punched in some letters & numbers.
\"You start now, third floor, last door to right. Beat it.\"
Rachel looked down at the package in her arms.
\"Where can I get changed?\" The lady at the counter just ignored her. So Rachel walked to the nearest elevator whispering under her breath,\"What a bitch.\"
