Prophecy
This is the prologue. It is also another dream I had.. yeah.. we all now start to kill each other was we run away in fear. these are my charries, so don\'t take em without asking. Thanks.. enjoy.
Aelita sighed. She was looking in a window wishing she could go shopping for a few things. But that wouldn’t happen. Inside the window were a few items she wouldn’t mind having. Yeah, she knew it was a bit stuck up of her to want clothes, but she was a growing girl, and she wanted to fit in more than she did at the moment.
“Oh come on Aelita. You know better. You are unique, be proud of it. Besides, I think you look wonderful. You can’t see into minds like me, they admire your look, some try to emulate it.” Kenzie said.
“Thanks for the esteem boost Kenzie. I know, but sometimes I wish that I could fit in with them.” Aelita said.
“You are Aelita. I couldn’t ask for anything more.” Kenzie said.
Kenzie was right about that. She was Aelita. A young girl, about 14 years old. Kenzie was her spirit friend. Someone she had been bonded to the moment she was born. He had been her guide in some ways, and her best friend since she could remember. That was the way of life with her clan. And now that the human people had begun to populate the earth in earnest, they all had to lay low, her clan, and the many other clans of peoples that had once been as populous as the humans. That was centuries ago. When humans believed in such things as spirits and magic. Nowadays, they were in danger of hunters, and non- belief. Both could kill them. Non- belief could kill them because it would bring them under the scrutiny of hunters who would kill them.
“Let’s go Kenzie. Kenzie? Where’d you go?” Aelita said looking around. She felt icy fingers around her heart. Something was wrong.
not much to begin with, but it gets better, I promise. Please review, I need them. And who knows, I may dream more cool things, like a sequel. If you want to put them in your story, or the next two or three upcoming characters, don\'t hesitate to ask me, just give me the plot so I know what your going to do with them.
