A good beginning of the story, but very few of the story codes apply to the first chapter. It might be a good idea to include a disclaimer that the story starts slow and the story codes apply for later chapters.
It would also be plus if manually removed the extra line breaks that disturb the reading, but all in all Morgaanis feels like a worthy place for adventures.
