Fun story! I always like kinda slice-of-life stories with kids/teens like this because being the early, formative years of your sexuality those experiences will always be memorable and nostalgic, and setting it in 1997 amplifies that (though I don't see much in the way of period-specific references, minus cell phones not being in the picture). The interwoven simultanious narratives being used for a holiday story is a bit of a trope and makes a ton of sense for Halloween, a night when everyone is off on their own adventure.
My favorite is probably Jessica's story, but I have a particular fondness for the euphoria of drug use multiplying the physical pleasure of sex. Chester and Marie's fling is a pretty hot dynamic although I think her dirty talking about her "loli thighs" is stretching the realism and suspencion of disbelief especially considering the supposed time period lmao, but I get it's just supposed to add extra sexiness and it doesn't matter all that much if it's realistic if it helps people get off
