The Best Gift – by TCR

It’s only fair our illustrious host goes first!

That line about a how she’s a damage control tech who doesn’t keep the place clean was straight up hilarious, coming after what that off-page trip/toe stub. Overall I liked the scene setting which gave me a decent mental image of the ship and those married quarters.

Enjoyed the sex scene! I think sweetly intimate would be an apt description. Straight up strap on sex, but the physicality and the established closeness of the couple elevated it. Also another little chuckle at the start over the whole navy/marine difference and the suggestion that the navy folks are just groping each other.

Nice, sweet and sexy.

Review for The Best Gift, by TCR
A very good piece of erotica with two woman that comes accross as both being in a steady relationship and very sexy and passionate. The build up of the beginning is very good with Saanvi's emotions as she leaves Zakara at the party. The eventual payoff as they reunite is very good and you give the reader some quite hot sex.

One thing that I reacted on was that in the beginning of the story it is told the ship is named Shiva, and then there is lots of talk of the Hindu faith. I was kind of expecting there to be some narrative connection here, not that the story needed such to work but I still thought it worth to mention.

"The Christmas List" by Thundercloud

It would seem that there are some elves who belong on the naughty list, too. I liked the initial implication that the guy knew Sarah's secret because he's some kind of hacker -- until we find out that his information comes from a very different source. There are a few issues with the writing, but it's still pretty solid for an author to whom English is a second language.

"Speechless" by PlagueClover

Well, that was dark. I was a little surprised by the ending; I sort of figured that you'd have more plans for Father Mitchell. But I'm kind of glad you don't. :)

Unless, of course, the man with the dimples turns out to be even worse, and we'll be seeing HIM again next year.
