So we see Dominik try to stop any sympathy from his men reahing Edan - suggesting that they might not be so happy to see him badly treated. Also Dominik can't keep on claiming that he is responding to the monks for the way he treats Edan because he has taken Edan from them.
Plus the misogyny involved with the "dress the slave boy in womens' clothing" is very sad both in story and in our world. I'd love someone to actually get serious and ask these men what's wrong with a cunt., maybe get them to explain to their mothers what is so horrible about the cunt that gave birth to them.
Anyway, give the poor boy a backbone! Or get him depressed enough to say nothing other than Yes, master" or "No master" thus pissing off Dominik. I am enjoying the story but it would be great if the men with issues could get some therapy.
I‘ve been thinking about this story for month which felt like years but I didn‘t remember the name so I couldn‘t reread it. And now a new chapter is out! Thank you so much for updating!

That moment when you're getting ready to read and review and you realize that you're not even logged into the site yet... -sigh-
He could hear Lord Dominik still in the clearing, talking to someone, which meant he still had a chance to possibly get away. - No, no Edan honey, there's no way you can escape him at the moment.
Dominik was no stranger to the woods or tracking prey. - See? Tis a shame, really.
He hadn't been joking about the wildcats and wolves in these parts. There were also bears and giant eagles. - LMAO! That moment when you realize Edan is actually safer with the beast that is Dominik.
A small naked teen might be of interest to a hungry predator. - Buddy, don't deny it, a small naked teen is of interest to YOU.
He got to his feet and took two steps before he suddenly fell flat on his face, tripping over a root that was protruding from the ground. The boy's mouth hit the dirt, bloodying his lips and nose. - This is just not your day, Edan. SO not your day.
He tried to tell himself it was just because he was so exhausted, but it was also something more than that, something the young teen couldn't understand. - (whispering) The beginnings of Stockholm Syndrome...or your teenage hormones finally kicking in!
Dominik hummed softly as he rewet the teen's hair and worked on untangling the silken strands, running his fingers through each lock and gently rubbing the boy's aching scalp. - LMAO! As if he's grooming a pet, of course!
Dominik nibbled out the first thorn, spitting it into the water before staring carefully at Edan's fingertip and repeating the action for the next splinter, licking and sucking the pain away. Edan continued to watch with wide eyes, his lips parted and his blush spreading to the top of his heaving chest. - PFFT! The moment you realize that this scene is hotter than it has any right to be.
"Yes. They were never cruel. They didn't deserve to die," he murmured, trying to hold back his tears once again. - Except, of course, for the fact that they only allowed Dominik in after he bribed them and...oh yes, they were gonna MUTILATE and SACRIFICE you.
The boy buried his face in his knees, trying not to imagine all of the horrible things the man was going to do to him. How had his life come to this? - Well, at least you still ARE alive, little one.

“I’m very proud of you, my child,” he said softly, giving the boy’s shoulder a gentle squeeze before releasing him.
- Wait, proud of him? PROUD of him? You're gonna let them butcher him!

Aaaand this is the massacre chapter. A part of me pities the monks. I'm sure not all of them were motivated by greed and I'm sure that at least one of them couldn't have wanted to sacrifice Edan in such a painful manner.
