I remember reading the first draft of this story with Talya being taken from the temple and then I left it for a long time. Since then, I have recently started reading this story & am engrossed! It's so well written and the characterisation is very good. Whilst perspective does on occasion jump around, the sheer depth to this story is excellent. Am currently on chapter 17 and am reluctant to keep reading becuase I know there's so far only 20 chapters!
Couple of questions: how many chapters do you forsee for this story & what time period do you see this as set in? Reading it, I see it as the early modern period.
Anyway, please keep up-dating this as am loving it!

More trouble for Talya! The poor boy is too sweet and pretty for his own good sometimes. Trace could be better than Micah for Talya though. I look forward to seeing what happens! Thanks for the update.
Sorry for not reviewing sooner, but I missed the updates of the last four chapters, and had to catch up. :)
Mallika was quite the... um, brat... at first, but I was happy to see things changing throughout chapter 19. It was good to see things going much smoother and Micah feeling free. Everyone... well, maybe not Rael, semed much happier with the way things were running now. Although I wonder how Priya will take things now that Mallika is gone and Micah is in charge... and will be changing things from the sound of it.
And Rael... hopefully the army will straighten that boy out. He defintiely seemed like an angry boy that liked things his way and was not enjoying the fact that his father was back for good and was going to change things. Well, wake up call my friend... Micah is the head of the household, and can do what he wants.
I'm really liking how this story is coming along. I'll defintely be keeping a better eye out for updates so I don't get behind again. :)
I am really enjoying the continuing twists and turns of Talya's story, and how he has influenced Micah. Now I just have to worry about Talya's health.
You have made the transitions of Talya's life very realistic and now I need to see what else you have in store for him.
I love how this story is turning and out so curious to see what Micah will do with Talya...and what Talya will choose. Your writing is amazing!
On another note, please don't let a lack of reviews or reads discourage you from writing. You are so talented - I think that sooner or later this story will get the exposure it truly deserves. Keep your head up!
Oh! I also wanted to suggest maybe uploading on Wattpad? I started reading there and I think it may get a bit more traffic. I know it would be a lot of work, but just a suggestion!
