Ok I feel the need to specify when I say mofos I mean atara and them. And I feel for Cassie, I do but she needs to radically accept that Emory doesn't love her. And he prefers men and mainly his lover kita. And it's kind of like guys he can't have kids and it took forever for fox. So why would he even stay with Cassie. Atara is all butt hurt about it but come on she immaran it's not like she's a stranger to grin and bearing it. He's not the first king to screw someone else. He won't be the last. So they all need to sod off

Now that Nikita is healing, I hope he takes Emory to task to what he is doing to Cassie. She's being so gracious, but hurting, and all Emory is thinking about is Fox and Nikita.

Great chapter! Yay I'm happy that Atara seems like he'll have a bigger role in this story then he has so far (though correct me if I'm wrong that's just what I inferred). I was bummed that we hadn't seen much of him yet in this installment and when we did he was either a grumpy grump or yelling at Nikita so not so much information to know how he's changed over 10 years! He really has a special place in my heart. I wouldn't say he's my favorite character, but he's definitely the one I most relate to and sometimes when you've written about his personality and how he's grown and matured I swear you were writing about me. Except I'm a girl. And not a halfling. Minor details. ;) Wonderful writing as always though, I'm excited to read more!

I am hoping that Cassie and Kita get along. That they will consider themselves family, if not a bit dysfunctional. But they would put the fun is the word so that would be fun. I am also hoping that Emory allows Cass to take a lover of her own as he has Kita. And that perhaps it will be her Sebastian. Love reading her POV.
