This story is so beautiful and touching in its own weird way. Keep writing please!
This chapter and the last has confirmed some of my suspisions... and brought in some interesting asides. I did not realize you were the author of the Finn/Rowen story I had started reading before. I may have to go back to reading that one as well, I had lost track of its updates over time.
I remember Rowen being a tragic ass in the other story... too much hurt, too much anger, too much emotional baggage. I think it will be interesting to see what kind of interactions he continues to have with Valentine in the future.
While I do think Valentine will get a "raw end deal" with Rowen, somehow I don't think Rowen will be doing it for his own pleasure, it is just part of the nature of who Rowen is now.

Well hey! Ok so first amazing story! Second, I read that according to you takes place in the same "world" as along the underground so I went and binge read that in two days and OMG my heart! Such a good story!!! Will you be finishing that? Because I basically don't think my life will be complete if you don't. :D But seriously, your stories are some of very very few that can pull my heartstrings in so many directions and make me cry and you should publish these or like post them on another fiction site cause I feel like you don't get enough appreciation!
