Really enjoyed this first chapter. Hope you update again soon!
On a side note, I was a fan of your other story 'Silence'. In your last Author's Note, you had mentioned that you had the next few chapters written & would be updating more frequently....then you vanished for a year. Would be nice if you continued that story. Some of us really liked that story and rated/reviewed it.
